Adam Page Hopes Ring Of Honor Will ‘Bounce Back’ After Final Battle

December 14, 2021

Ahead of the Winter is Coming edition of AEW Dynamite, AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page joined Oral Sessions with Renée Paquette to discuss his upcoming bout with Bryan Danielson, mental health, and Ring Of Honor’s Final Battle.

With ROH taking a pause until 2022, Page hopes that last weekend’s Final Battle event won’t be the last time fans will get to experience the promotion. “I hope that’s not the last Final Battle, the true Final Battle. And, you know, not just for the name of the company, which is something I’ve followed before I even started wrestling, And not even for all the people who right now have jobs there. But for all the wrestlers and wrestling fans. This works so much better, as you can tell, with AEW — and with our time in Ring of Honor and New Japan before — this works so much better when there are more places to work. So I hope that whatever is going on with them, I hope that they’re able to bounce back in whatever form they can as soon as they can.”

Before he began working for All Elite Wrestling, Page was part of Ring of Honor from 2011 to 2018. In his time with the company, Page was part of both The Decade and The Bullet Club, the latter of which helped win him his first championship, the ROH World Six-Man Tag Championship with the Young Bucks. Page also won an ROH Year End Award for Breakout Star of the Year in 2017.
