Orange Cassidy (c.) vs. AR Fox!
This is Orange Cassidy’s 27th defense of the AEW International Championship.
Orange began the match with head games, but Fox managed to apply the body scissors to the champ. Orange wiggled out of the hold, but Fox countered a shotgun dropkick attempt. Fox was looking for the cutter, but Orange anticipated it and rolled out of the ring.
AR Fox vaulted off the ring post and moonsaulted onto Orange on the arena floor. Orange came back with a Stun Dog Millionaire on Fox. Fox connected with a mule kick off the ropes and then followed up with a stunner of his own. Fox nailed Orange with a twisting brain buster for a two-count.

Cassidy went for the Orange Punch, but Fox turned Cassidy’s momentum against him, setting him on the top turnbuckle. Fox took Orange down with the lo Mein pain! Fox planted the champion with a DDT for another near fall.
Orange rolled out of the way of Fox’s 450 splash. Fox may have twisted his ankle on the landing. Orange caught Fox in the mouse trap and pinned Fox!
After the match Orange Cassidy handed over his aviator sunglasses as a sign of respect. Fox took the sunglasses and crushed them in his hand. Fox decked Orange with a cheap shot.
“I think Fox’s frustration just got the better of him,” speculated Excalibur.
Darby Allin ran down the ramp and questioned AR Fox.
“That’s embarrassing. What the hell was that?” asked Darby.
Darby yelled at Fox and told him to go back to the locker room.
Jon Moxley came out of nowhere and spiked Orange Cassidy with the Death Rider!
“This has just come completely unglued!” said Excalibur.
Renee Paquette was backstage to interview Don Callis and Chris Jericho!
Callis: “You know the outpouring of interest from fans and media about just the potential of the greatest of all time Chris Jericho joining the Don Callis Family has led me to believe that we really have to give the people something.
“Chris, no pressure, but I have taken the liberty of arranging the situation where you can be in a tag team match with your partner Takeshita, the guy you said was the future of wrestling. Imagine the dream team. Jericho, Takeshita, the Family, maybe, for one tag match. Doesn’t that get the creative juices flowing?”
Jericho: “Takeshita is amazing and I’m willing to give it a try.”
Callis: “The best part is your opponents—Danny Garcia and Sammy Guevara.”
Jericho: “Danny and Sammy?”
Callis: “You said you wanted them to spread their wings. You wanted them to try to fly on their own. I mean this is perfect, really, when you begin to think about it.”
Jericho: “Yeah. I’ll do it.”
Callis: “To commemorate this next step in joining the Don Callis Family, I took the liberty of commissioning a new piece of art to commemorate our 1985 promo that was aired on Dynamite with Bad News Allen. This is you and I, Chris, like a couple of gods at play, just like we were back in the 90s. Look at that. You know Bad News wants us to be together.”
Jericho: “That’s really big. I can’t carry that around.”
Callis: “That’s alright. I know the perfect place. You do your thing.”
The Blackpool Combat Club were backstage!
Claudio: “For all you kids at home, do not play with fire. Here’s a little public service announcement for all the kids around here. Don’t mess with the Blackpool Combat Club. Pac, “Bastard”, if you think after what you pulled at Blood & Guts that the beating you got at Death Before Dishonor at my hands was anything but the beginning, you are sorely mistaken. And you couldn’t even take that like a man.”
Moxley: “That right there is what happens when you try to flex on my friends when I’m not even in the building. If there’s anybody else who thinks they’re the coolest cat in the room, well, here’s a warning. Stay in your lane. Lucha Brothers, Best Friends, you’re going to pay for Pac’s mistake and you’re all going to get hurt.”
Tony Schiavone was in the ring to interview the new FTW Champion Jack Perry!
Jack Perry was wearing orange and black and had a t-shirt that said, “I beat Hook.”
Jack Perry: “You’re damn right I beat Hook, and after one loss this guy realized he can’t hang with the big boys. And he got on a train to nowhere. When I said I was going to win myself a championship, I sure as hell wasn’t talking about this one.
“This championship was created in a second-class company full of scumbags like all of you fans. This title has never been recognized but as soon as I put my hands on it, it became the real deal. Because I’m the real deal and I’m that damn good.
“Taz I would run circles around you and all of your dirtbag friends back in the day as well.”
Jerry Lynn walked down the ramp!
Jerry Lynn: “That’s enough Jungle.”
Jack Perry: “Hey old man, I’m no longer Jungle Boy. I’m Jack Perry.”
Jerry Lynn: “I don’t care what you call yourself. Let me remind you of one thing. In ECW we paved the way for this younger generation. Without ECW there never would have been a Jungle Boy. So go ahead and keep running that mouth. You will get your ass kicked.”
Jack Perry: “Me? I’m going to get my ass kicked? I’d like to see who is going to kick my ass.”
Jerry Lynn dropped his microphone onto the mat.
Jack Perry: “Okay, okay. I’m obviously not dressed for a fight right now, so relax. We’re going to do this on my time. But since you’re feeling so ballsy, how about next week you come out here into my ring and we’ll see who gets their ass kicked.”
Renee Paquette was backstage with Dr. Britt Baker!
Baker: Thank you for reminding the people I am the former AEW Women’s World champion, face of the company. And baddest bitch on the block. Taya, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little surprised that you called me out on Collision. But thank you. I’m excited for this first-time match up. But Taya, you want to swim with the sharks, I’m going to drag your ass to the deep end. TBS is The Britt Show.”

Footage aired from last week when Renee Paquette interviewed Blind Eliminator Tag Team Tournament Winners AEW World Champ MJF and Adam Cole spoke ahead of their upcoming match against AEW World Tag Team Champs FTR which takes place this Saturday on Collision!
MJF: “FTR, I liked you boys better when you were my lackeys. To be honest, that was the Pinnacle of your careers. Dash—rocking a mullet in 2023? Dax, I am so sick of your Mr. Clean Yosemite Sam looking ass, in front of this camera, with this microphone, saying the same stuff over and over again. ‘I love my wife. I love my baby daughter. I love this business. No flips, just fists.’
“Yeah, Dax, well this is what’s going to happen. I’m going to take my fists and on July 29th on Collision, I’m going to punch you so hard in the face, you’re going to have no choice but to spit out CM Punk’s jockstrap. Because we are winning those AEW Tag Team Championships because in this business there’s only three initials that matter and it’s not FTR. It’s MJF because we’re better than you—”
Adam Cole: “Baybay. And truth be told, I wanted to talk to you Max. When the tournament started it was all about winning gold. But if I’m going to be totally, completely honest, it’s become about friendship for me. Never in a million years did I think we were going to become friends. Max, I want to make this very clear or else I won’t sleep tonight. You have nothing to worry about when it comes to the AEW World Championship. I was just giving it to you.”
MJF: “I know.”
Adam Cole: “But what you’ve given to me, your friendship, means the world to me. Because Max you’re not just my friend, not just a close friend, you’re becoming one of my best friends.”
MJF: “I’ve been thinking long and hard. Win, lose, or draw, after July 29th on Collision, I want you to know, I’m going to give you a rematch for the AEW World Championship because I know how much it means to you.”
Adam Cole: “Are you serious?!”
Roderick Strong stormed onto the set and shoved MJF!
Strong: “Don’t trust him! I saw the look in your eyes! He’s going to turn on you, Adam, and you’re going to regret trusting him!”
Cole: “Roddy, stop! Max, please, give me and Roddy a second. Roddy you’ve got to be kidding me. I love you like a brother. I would do anything for you. But you are acting insane. You’re acting crazy. What you’re doing is pushing me away. I have other friends, Roddy, and you need to trust me if you want to be mine. I’m going to talk to Max.”
Strong: “You’re making a big mistake, dude.”

“Apparently the newest member of the Mogul Embassy is AR Fox,” said Excalibur, as Prince Nana handed Fox an Embassy t-shirt!
The Jericho Appreciation Society approached Chris Jericho and asked to speak with him inside his dressing room.
Jericho invited them inside. The portrait of Callis, Jericho, and Bad News Allen was hanging on the wall.
Jericho: “It’s a gift from Don. But who cares about the painting. How’s everything going? How’s the baby doing?”
Tay Melo: “The baby is doing great, but the real question is what’s going on with you, Chris?”
Angelo Parker: “Chris this entire group means the world to me. I think it means the same to you. But I’m not entirely sure anymore.”
Anna Jay A.S.: “You know what? If you won’t say it, I will. You’re being selfish.”
Jericho: “I’m being selfish?”
Anna Jay: “Yeah, you know, we spent all this time appreciating you and I don’t think you appreciate us. So, until you do so, like Jake said, we can’t give you 100 percent.”
Jericho: “C’mon guys, you think this is easy for me?”
