It’s Friday the 13th and RAMPAGE is back with a few unlucky events for some members of the AEW locker room! On the heels of that wild Escalera de la Muerte II World Trios Championship match, the knockdown dragout that was Hangman versus Moxley, Danielson continuing his road towards MJF and the AEW World Championship, and Adam Cole making his return, AEW is bringing the fight to Friday!

The House of Black will be in action when Malakai Black and Brody King come together to battle Eddie Kingston and Ortiz in tag team action! Plus, in a Street Fight, the duo of Willow Nightingale and Ruby Soho will go to war with The Jericho Appreciation Society’s Tay Melo and Anna Jay A.S; after what went down with The J.A.S. on Wednesday, you can bet these two women will be ready for the fight and looking to repeat the violence of their Street Fight with Penelope Ford and The Bunny that closed out 2021!

TNT CHAMPIONSHIP BOUT…

Darby Allin(c) vs. Juice Robinson

The TNT Championship Open Challenge is back in effect with Darby Allin enjoying his second reign as champion, and he’s already answered the call one time when he defeated Mike Bennett just a few days after beating Samoa Joe.

This Friday night on RAMPAGE, Darby will answer that challenge once more when he meets former IWGP United States Champion Juice Robinson inside the squared circle! Clearly Darby has no intention of slowing down just because he’s champion, and he will aim to defend this title as much as possible, as frequently as possible. Not only that, but he wants to defend it against the absolute best competition possible, and there are few better resumes out there than that of Juice Robinson. He’s a 3-Time former IWGP U.S. Champion, a former IWGP Tag Team Champion, with victories over men like Cody Rhodes, Jon Moxley, Eddie Kingston, Kazuchika Okada, SHINGO, and Hirooki Goto to his resume. And in his brief AEW tenure Juice’s record is 2-1, all in singles competition, and with that one loss coming at the hands of Jon Moxley; suffice to say, he’s a very game challenger for Darby’s TNT Championship and could bring a very early end to this second championship reign.

Can Darby continue his run as The Face of TNT, or will TNT get a “Rock Hard” face lift this Friday night?

TAG TEAM BATTLE…

The Kings of the Black Throne (Brody King & Malakai Black)

vs.

Eddie Kingston & Ortiz

Games; The House of Black loves to play games, the kind of games that manipulate and divide and drive holes into relationships. Currently that game is being played at the expense of Eddie Kingston and Ortiz, and it is very clear from the video embedded above that their game is proving quite successful.

Despite their years of friendship, Eddie and Ortiz have been spun out enough by the cryptic words of Malakai, Brody, Buddy, and Julia that they are questioning one another. They aren’t trusting one another despite all the battles they’ve been through both here in AEW and elsewhere in their wrestling careers. There are so many questions spiraling out about trust and loyalties, but the main one to be addressed this Friday night is can be on the same page to win this match against The Kings of The Black Throne?

STREET FIGHT…

Ruby Soho & Willow Nightingale

vs.

The Jericho Appreciation Society (Anna Jay A.S. & Tay Melo)

Ruby Soho has been dealing with Anna Jay A.S. and Tay Melo for quite some time now; through betrayal and broken arms and shattered faces and time on the shelf, “The Runaway” has been through the ringer when it comes to issues with TayJayA.S. But since her return to AEW, which did kick off with Ruby defeating Tay at WINTER IS COMING 2022, Soho has found an ally in Willow Nightingale to join this fight with Anna and Tay.

Their first tag team outing went in favor of The Jericho Appreciation Society pair, not exactly an above board victory, so now we have this Street Fight taking place at the fabulous Forum between four dangerous women. Now we’ve seen Anna and Tay in this situation before and it resulted in Anna Jay using barbwire to supply her Queen Slayer choke; fans know that TayJayA.S. can get violent, bloody, and brutal when the time comes, but we haven’t seen that from Willow and Ruby in their AEW tenure…at least not yet.

There is no doubt they have it in them, despite her very jubilant demeanor, when that bell rings Willow is a hard-hitting competitor and Ruby is definitely willing to throwdown when the time comes. Well, this Friday night is absolutely going to be that time when she and Willow Nightingale meet TayJayA.S. in a Street Fight!
