AEW’s Full Gear Second Most-Purchased PPV In The History Of The Company

November 18, 2021

AEW presented Full Gear over the weekend and plenty of fans ordered the event. They are also growing trust with that fan base as they are more confident that a good show will be delivered. As it turns out, a ton of fans flocked to AEW on November 13th.

According to Wrestlenomics, AEW Full gear is shaping up to be the second-most bought pay-per-view in the company’s history. According to the report, Tony Khan’s company racked up 145,000 buys.

AEW All Out this year still owns the top spot with 205,000 buys. That event had a ton of hype, and fans got Bryan Danielson, Ruby Soho, and Adam Cole’s debuts.

All Elite Wrestling’s Full Gear pay-per-view last Saturday is measuring at about 145,000 buys, we’ve learned. This is an early estimate that “reflects all buys worldwide.” Late buys usually account for about 10% of pay-per-view sales.

Fans had to use Bleacher Report in the United States. Fite TV did start offering Full Gear for fans for replay showings, but they did not offer it live. Both B/R Live and FITE offered the pay-per-view for All Out because there was an update on the B/R App and it wasn’t ready for some platforms.

Some fans tried to give Bleacher Report their money for the event, but there were issues with ordering the pay-per-view. They obviously need to fix those glaring issues.
