Wednesday MLW announced that the eighth and final entrant into this year’s Opera Cup would be 19-year veteran Alex Shelley.
Shelley who made his return to pro wrestling on September 3rd’s GCW/Black Lable Pro 3 Cups Stuffed show will now join TJP, Calvin Tankman, Matt Cross, Bobby Fish, Lee Moriarty, Davey Richards, and last year’s winner and former MLW Champion Tom Lawlor.
According to MLW’s website, brackets and first-round matchups for the tournament will be announced in the coming days. While the opening round and semifinals will take place on October 2nd at the famous 2300 arena, the finals will happen the following month in their November return to Philadelphia for Intimidation Games.
