Early this year, before going back on the road, Bayley suffered a knee injury during required training at the Performance Center. Bayley was expected to be out for 9 months. She underwent knee reconstruction surgery back in June.
Bayley has been a star performer for the company. After her successful heel turn, she became the SmackDown Women’s Champion. Her reign lasted for 380 days, which is currently the record for the longest reign in modern WWE.
On Friday, Bayley shared a photo of her on crutches walking down a long alleyway. She also has recently been teasing feuds with WWE female Superstars, most recent being Rhea Ripley.
Bayley was injured back in July, meaning that the nine months would leave us in March. It is possible we could see her back for WrestleMania. We will have to wait and find out how her return will play out.
