Bret Hart’s Hall Of Fame Attacker Gives Reason For His Actions In Court

This year’s WWE Hall of Fame ceremony was a memorable one indeed, however probably not for the reasons that WWE had hoped.

During the induction of The Hart Foundation into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2019 a fan by the name of Zach Madsen rushed the ring and managed to tackle Bret “The Hitman” Hart before being handled by promptly by numerous near by members of the roster both past and present, oh and also UFC fighter Travis Browne.

Madsen was later identified as being an amateur MMA fighter himself, who had a criminal record which included charges of stalking. Madsen appeared in court for his recent charges stemming from his assault on WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart, and was given a bond amount.

It was also reported by the NY Times that Madsen had an interesting reason for why he decided to hop the guardrail and rush the ring to attack The Hitman. Madsen was said to have explained to the court his reason by saying:

“I just felt like it was the right moment”

It was also reported that Bret Hart was granted a protective order against Zach Madsen as well.
