Britt Baker is a proud native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with a passion for its beloved Steelers football team. It seems as though Britt is now lobbying for recently retired Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger to make an appearance in AEW in some capacity.
On a recent episode of Barstool’s Rasslin’ podcast, that was filmed prior to the Steelers playoff game with the Kansas City Chiefs, the AEW Women’s Champion talked about how she approached AEW President and owner Tony Khan about possibly bringing Big Ben.
“Big Ben did a little thing with DX, remember that? I begged Tony [Khan]. I said, ‘this is the only thing I’ll ever ask from you ever again. Bring him in for something. I want him to do something in AEW with me. I know [he did something in WWE], but not the good side. We need to bring him to the good side.”
Back in 2009 Roethlisberger appeared as a guest host on WWE Raw. It is unknown whether or not the two-time Super Bowl would be interested in an appearance on AEW television.
