Daniel Bryan Not Interested In WWE’s Offer Of Full-Time Backstage Role With Company

May 10, 2021

Daniel Bryan’s WWE contract recently expired, as he is no longer an active member of the WWE roster and is also no longer a member of the SmackDown writing team, officially making him a free agent. Additionally, there isn’t a no-compete clause keeping him from appearing with any other company.

There have been reports that there is a position available within WWE for Daniel Bryan as a full-time member of the backstage staff, if he wants it. According to a new report from Ringside News, Daniel Bryan is NOT interested in a full-time backstage position with WWE. Their report states that a tenured member of the backstage team has told them that “DB doesn’t want a full time job behind the scenes.”

It was also reported that WWE and Daniel Bryan are keeping communication open between both parties, and are not rushing anything.

It will be interesting to see how this eventually plays out. We will keep you updated if we hear anything more regarding Daniel Bryan’s Free Agency, or his status with WWE.
