Dixie Carter Has not been seen around the pro wrestling world since her departure from Impact wrestling in 2016 after Anthem sports bought the company. As many know Ring Of Honor has been strengthening its women division with Maria Kanellis at the helm.
In a surprise, the former President of TNA appeared on a video talking up the state of women wrestling and the ROH women’s roster. She expressed how proud she was of all the competitors in the Women of Honor tournament.
” Hey There, it’s Dixie Carter, former President of Impact Wrestling. One of the greatest things about my time in wrestling was getting to spend it with incredibly talented women that wrestled for us every week. Nothing made me prouder than to see them shine in the main event, carry their own pay-per-view, or bein the highest rated segment on television, which they often were.”
“And today, women wrestling has never been better or stronger. So to all the ladies competing in the Ring Of Honor women’s championship Tournament, I just wanted to say congratulations and good luck.”
The ROH’s women division is looking stronger than it’s ever been and it looks like only positive things are on the horizon for the company. Where do you see the division in the next few years?
