Drew McIntyre Says The Jeff Hardy Incident Was Blown Out Of Proportion

December 30, 2021

Back in early December, Jeff Hardy was released from WWE after a bizarre incident that took place at a house show in Texas.

During a triple threat match that included Hardy, Drew McIntyre, and Xavier woods going up against The Bloodline; Hardy exited the ring and hopped the barricade, and left the arena. The next day, Hardy was sent home and eventually released by the company after turning down their offer of rehab.

While speaking with Steven Muehlhausen of DAZN, McIntyre was asked about the incident and gave his take on the situation.

“For one, as usual, the internet can take something and blow it out of proportion. But all I’ll say on the matter is I just want what’s best for Jeff and for him to be healthy. As long as he’s good, as long as he’s healthy, as long as he’s happy with his family, then Drew McIntyre is happy,”

Jeff recently appeared alongside his brother Matt saying WWE jumped the shark letting Jeff go. Much speculation has been made on what is next for Jeff Hardy, with many believing he will end up in AEW. We will have to wait and see.
