The members of La Facción Ingobernable pride themselves on being ungovernable, but now they’ve learned that their actions do indeed have consequences.

LFI (ROH World Champion RUSH, Dragon Lee, Kenny King and Bestia del Ring) have been suspended without pay for the entire month of May by the ROH Board of Directors for an accumulation of lawless actions.

According to a person with direct knowledge of the situation, the board felt it had to take this measure because repeated fines did not deter LFI’s behavior, which included a heinous attack on former member, Amy Rose, at the 19th Anniversary show in March, and continuous disregard for the rules — including the use of weapons — in their matches.

The tipping point was LFI’s six-man tag match against Violence Unlimited two weeks ago. The bout degenerated into a chaotic brawl which resulted in the destruction of property and injuries to bystanders.

RUSH will address the suspension on “ROH Week By Week,” which premieres Tuesday at 1 p.m. Eastern on YouTube.

2 Guys 1 Tag has imploded, and now Silas Young and Josh Woods will square off in a grudge match on “Ring of Honor Wrestling” the weekend of May 15.

Young shockingly turned on his protege during Woods’ match against Dalton Castle at 19th Anniversary. Young nailed Woods with a chair shot to the head behind the referee’s back, allowing Castle to roll up Woods for the three count.

After the match, Young chastised Woods for continually defying him and said he’s going to hurt Woods in ways that will make him question his career choice.

Also on that episode of TV there will be a “rankings battle royal.”

The participants will all be wrestlers who are not currently ranked in any of the singles divisions in ROH. The last two competitors standing will face each other on a future episode, with the winner earning a spot in the rankings of the division of his choosing.

The OGK (Matt Taven and Mike Bennett) will challenge for the ROH World Tag Team Title against champions Tracy Williams and Rhett Titus of The Foundation on “Ring of Honor Wrestling” the weekend of May 22.

OGK is undefeated in tag team competition since reuniting late last year. Taven and Bennett are looking to regain the belts they held for three months in 2015.

Chris Dickinson was my guest on the latest episode of “The ROHStrong Podcast,” which drops Monday morning on ROHWrestling.com and most podcast platforms.

He talked about working with Brody King, Homicide and Tony Deppen in Violence Unlimited and his history with each of them; growing up an ROH fan and the ROH match that inspired him to become a pro wrestler; being involved in intergender wrestling; his infamous match against Kimber Lee and how it affected his career; the role PCO played in his career; wrestling in Japan, and much more.

The highly anticipated match between Quinn McKay, who’ll be making her in-ring debut in ROH, and Angelina Love headlines this weekend’s episode of “Ring of Honor Wrestling.”

Beyond this being a grudge match, there are high stakes for both competitors. If McKay pulls the upset, she’ll gain entry into the ROH Women’s World Title Tournament this summer; if Love wins, she’ll receive a first-round bye in the tournament.

I’m going to refrain from predicting a winner in this match because I don’t want any more angry tweets directed at me from one of the competitors.

The other big match on this weekend’s show pits the Briscoes against EC3 and Flip Gordon in tag team action. Also, “The Mecca” Brian Johnson has issued an open challenge.

Congratulations to Deppen on winning the ROH World Television Title from Williams on last weekend’s episode of “Ring of Honor Wrestling.”

Deppen is a great story. He was invited to compete in the ROH Pure Title Tournament last fall, and even though he lost in the first round, he won over the fans, who made it clear that they wanted to see more of him in ROH. So ROH matchmakers kept booking him, and now he’s a champion.

In case you missed the title change, you can watch the match in its entirety with no commercial breaks on YouTube. I highly recommend it.

I think ROH Board of Directors member Marian Kanellis-Bennett made the right choice by issuing the first “ticket to gold” (entrance into the women’s title tournament) to “The Prodigy” Rok-C.

Like Kanellis-Bennett, I also thought the 19-year-old stood out in the tag match that pitted her and Max The Impaler against Hyan and Laynie Luck on Women’s Division Wednesday last week on YouTube.

Just because Rok-C got the first “ticket to gold” doesn’t mean the other competitors in that match won’t get theirs at some point. In fact, I fully expect at least one of them will.

This week’s Women’s Division Wednesday match saw Sumie Sakai defeat The Righteous’ Vita VonStarr, who was making her ROH in-ring debut. Even though VonStarr came out on the losing end, I thought she had an impressive showing against the former Women of Honor World Champion.

A new women’s match drops every Wednesday at 7 p.m. Eastern on YouTube.

The Bouncers (Beer City Bruiser and Brawler Milonas) are back on the same page. I thought I’d be happy about that, but unfortunately it appears that Milonas has come around to Bruiser’s way of thinking rather than vice versa.

In next week’s exclusive match on “ROH Week By Week,” Primal Fear faces Will Ferrara, Dante Caballero and Eric Martin in six-man tag action.

Eli Isom wrote a touching Mother’s Day tribute to his late mother in the latest installment of ROHWrestling.com’s Word of Honor series.
