The competitors in the ROH World Title Match at the Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view on Sept. 12 will be made known during the Glory By Honor shows at Philadelphia’s 2300 Arena next weekend.

On Night 1 on Aug. 20, ROH World Champion Bandido defends his title against Flip Gordon. The challenger who will face either Bandido at Gordon at Death Before Dishonor will be revealed on Night 2 on Aug. 21 right before the steel cage main event between Matt Taven and Vincent.

Both Glory By Honor shows will be streamed live for HonorClub.

As announced earlier this week, Death Before Dishonor was moved from Lakeland, Fla., to the 2300 Arena due to the recent COVID-19 surge in Florida.

Also at Death Before Dishonor, the finals of the ROH Women’s World Title Tournament will take place, and Josh Woods will challenge for the Pure Title against either Jonathan Gresham or Rhett Titus. Gresham defends the title against fellow Foundation member Titus at Glory By Honor Night 1.

Details regarding ticket sales for Death Before Dishonor in Philadelphia will be announced soon.

The quarterfinal round of the ROH Women’s World Title Tournament begins on Ring of Honor Wrestling the weekend of Aug. 21.

Quinn McKay faces Rok-C in one quarterfinal match, while Nicole Savoy takes on Miranda Alize in another.

On the following week’s episode, Allysin Kay faces Trish Adora, and Angelina Love meets the winner of the Max The Impaler vs. Holidead match, which takes place on this weekend’s episode.

I’m hearing that some talented wrestlers who were recently released from another organization could be appearing at Death Before Dishonor.

Let the speculation commence.

The odd trio of PCO, Danhausen and Sledge begin their quest for the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Title by taking on Primal Fear on the next episode of ROH Week By Week, which premieres Tuesday at 1 p.m. Eastern on YouTube.

Danhausen is going to have his work cut out for him in trying to keep rivals PCO and Sledge on the same page.

Rey Horus was my guest on the latest episode of the ROHStrong Podcast, which drops Monday morning on ROHWrestling.com and most podcast platforms.

Horus talked about his close friend Bandido winning the ROH World Title; La Faccion Ingobernable unmasking him and Bandido on ROH TV last weekend; his storied history with Demonic Flamita and their no-disqualification match on ROH TV the weekend of Aug. 21; being trained by Rey Mysterio Sr. and wrestling as El Hijo de Rey Mysterio (Son of Rey Mysterio); getting to wrestle alongside his childhood idol, Rey Mysterio Jr.; winning the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team title in his second match in ROH, and much more.
