Exclusive: Details On Chase Owens New Contract With NJPW; Length And Amount Revealed

February 2, 2022

Earlier today, Bullet Club member Chase Owens announced that he will be staying with New Japan Pro Wrestling or a long time.

Chase previously stated that he had unfinished business with Tanahashi after beating him in the G1, but never got his shot at the IWGP U.S Title. Well, it now looks like he will be around long enough to eventually get his match.

Chase made the announcement this morning on his Twitch channel, and then later on his Twitter, saying that he is happy and proud to announce that he has re-signed with NJPW, and will be there for a long time.

“ANNOUNCEMENT!!! When I say 4 life that’s exactly what I mean!! Happy and proud to announce I have re-signed with NJPW for a Lonnnngggggggg time!!! See ya soon”

While initially specifics of Chase’s new deal were not known, after speaking to sources, I can now confirm that Chase Owens has signed a new five year with New Japan Pro Wrestling.

The deal is said to be a considerable raise from his previous deal with the company, and he will also be receiving a raise every year of the five years on his contract going forward. Additionally, I was told that the deal is in the $150-$200k range, and that he will be able to renegotiate the amount of money at the end of each year.
