Progress Wrestling’s women’s division is currently stacked with many incredible competitors but at the moment there is currently no No. 1 contender for Kanji’s Progress Women’s Championship.
This weekend at Chapter 117: Making Diamonds several competitors in the Women’s division battle it out as they look to jockey for position at the top of the division. Taonga faces off with new comer Ronnie Knocks in a singles contest, plus Mercedez Blaze, Alexxis Falcon and Gisele Shaw battle it out in a triple threat elimination match.
Tea and Tights our Weekly British Wrestling Podcast received this video from an anonymous source in which Gisele Shaw sends a warning to her opponents this weekend.
In the video you can see Gisele Shaw flanked by the Brothers Awe (Joey and Scott Awe) when the person approaches with a mobile recording device trying to get Shaw to talk about her upcoming match this weekend. At first she tries to ignore the person recording until she is asked if she is scared of the upcoming match, when Shaw finally responds she sends a message directly to her opponents this weekend;
“I’m Busy and that’s why I don’t want to talk but since you’re taking up my time, you know what you want my time, Alexxis Falcon is a fire cracker in the ring okay, Mercedez Blaze she is sparkly. They’re both good but you know what they’re not great, they’re not on my level, They’re not quintessential, okay that’s what I think.”

When asked what are her plans following the triple threat were, Shaw responded;
“Clearly everybody knows I have been robbed out of that best of three series, everyone knows that I am the real champion but you know what I win this Saturday means that I get to jump in front of the queue and I get challenge to face Kanji once again and I’m going to beat her to reclaim my what’s mine.”

Progress Wrestling Chapter 117: Making Diamonds will be available to stream this Saturday the 14th of August from 12pm EST on the Peacock Streaming service in the U.S and from 5pm BST on the WWE Network everywhere else.
