This past Thursday night on IMPACT we saw some incredible action as we get ready for Slammiversary LIVE on Sunday, July 22nd. However, before Slammiversary we have Under Pressure this Thursday night and the stars were out last week. Let’s dive in with some emotional ringside photos!
We saw tag team action between The Cult of Lee vs. LAX. In the end, the struggles continued for Santana and Ortiz. A major win for Trevor Lee and Caleb Konley.
Speaking of Tag Team Matches, we had another one on IMPACT as well. It was oVe vs. Drago & Aerostar in a match that pitted two completely opposite tag teams. Could Dave and Jake Crist secure a victory against the two high flying athletes from Lucha Underground? We will never know because Eddie Edwards burst onto the scene and took out everybody with a kendo stick. Eddie is obsessed with Sami Callihan and revenge. Even Eddie’s wife Alisha Edwards can’t seem to get through to Eddie.
The X-Division Title was on the line as Matt Sydal defended his title against El Hijo Del Fantasma in an epic clash! Could Fantasma become Champion on IMPACT?
In another X-Division Style match we witnessed Petey Williams go one on one with Dezmond Xavier.
In the Main Event we witnessed a battle of titans as Moose and Kongo Kong collided!
The night ended when we witnessed Jimmy Jacobs laid out in the back! The conclusion to IMPACT has us wondering who is the Mystery Attacker? It seems like no one is safe! Remember it was Grado who accused Jimmy and Kong of being responsible for these attacks. Cleary, it is not them who is responsible for taking out people in the locker room area.
