Jerry Lawler Comments on Murder of Young Dolph

November 18, 2021

WWE Hall of Famer, Jerry Lawler, was born in Memphis, Tennessee.

Young Dolph was a 36-year-old rapper from Memphis as well. He was murdered yesterday in his hometown while at a bakery buying cookies.

Dolph was featured on O.T. Genasis’ hit song ‘Cut It.’ The Memphis rapper was in town to hand out turkeys at a church, and other locations, for Thanksgiving.

The Memphis police are currently still searching for suspects as they are still at large. A witness said that he heard about 25 rapid shots followed by a pause in fire. The witness recalled that after the pause there were about five to ten more shots.

In response to Dolph’s murder, the former King of the Ring, responded in a tweet saying the following: “Such a waste of a talented life…come on Memphis, we gotta be better than this! My condolences to the friends and family of Young Dolph.”
