Kenta has been on a tear in New Japan since departing WWE. The Bullet Club member was one of the first wrestlers to cross through the forbidden door when he showed up in AEW and attacked John Moxley. He’s recently been in the news for calling out CM Punk.
It now looks like Kenta has been affected by the Covid-19 virus, as he took to Instagram and revealed that he has been dealing with the virus for the past few weeks.
I got COVID last few weeks. First of all, I apologize to everyone who had to [change plans] because of me. Fortunately, my symptom was not too bad. Just [had a] fever a few days (102 F) and lost my smell. But now I’m totally fine. And got [a negative test]. Stay safe and healthy, everyone.
Kenta has not appeared for NJPW since back on July 25 as part of the King Of Pro wrestling 22-man Ranbo battle royal. We will wait to see if he is back soon .
