BOOM! Studios and WWE announced “Fight Forever,” a new storyline going behind the scenes of the partnership between WWE Superstars Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn beginning in WWE #18, in stores June 2018. Viewers of Smackdown LIVE on the USA Network know that Owens and Zayn shocked the world at the 2017 WWE Hell in a Cell pay-per-view event by joining forces after their savage rivalry, but how did Owens convince Zayn to put aside his differences with KO and join his mission? The untold story of this deadly alliance is brought to you by the acclaimed WWE comic book creative team of writer Dennis Hopeless (“Jean Grey”) and artist Serg Acuña.
WWE #18 features a main cover by Dan Mora (“Saban’s Go Go Power Rangers”), along with variant covers by Adam Riches (“G.I. Joe”), Brent Schoonover (“Captain Marvel”) and Marco D’Alfonso (“I Am Groot”).
“There are few professional wrestlers with the storied history of Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, so when they were brought up as the potential focus of the next arc of the WWE comic book series, just one word came to mind: ‘Yep!’” said Eric Harburn, Editor, BOOM! Studios.
WWE #18 is the latest release from BOOM! Studios’ eponymous imprint, home to a world-class group of licensed comic book series and ambitious original series, including “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers,” “Planet of the Apes,” “Big Trouble in Little China,” “Victor LaValle’s Destroyer,” “Mech Cadet Yu,” “Grass Kings,” and “Klaus.”
Print copies of WWE #18 will be available for sale in June 2018 at local comic book shops (use comicshoplocator.com to find the nearest one) or at the BOOM! Studios webstore. Digital copies can be purchased from content providers, including comiXology, iBooks, Google Play, and the BOOM! Studios app.
