Mia Yim’s Cancelled Plan For Last Week’s SmackDown Debut Revealed

May 11, 2021

WWE changed plans for Mia Yim’s SmackDown debut last week, which is now tentatively scheduled for this week’s show.

According to a new report from Fightful Select, we now know what WWE had planned or Mia Yim’s debut on SmackDown last week before pulling the segment from the show. Apparently, Mia Yim was supposed to begin a feud with Carmella upon her debut on SmackDown, but it was said to have been cut for time as WWE needed to work more “throwback content” into the broadcast to fit the episodes theme.

It is not known however, if Mia Yim will be using her previous Reckoning gimmick as other Retribution members like Mace and T-Bar have, or if she will return to using her previous HBIC character upon her SmackDown debut.

We will keep you updated if we hear anything else about Mia Yim’s upcoming SmackDown debut.
