Whilst the world awaits Wrestle Kingdom night 3 in which New Japan stars will face off against stars from Pro Wrestling Noah, Rev Pro UK have announced that a New Japan star will face off with an All Japan at their High Stakes Show.
Earlier today Rev Pro UK would announce the third match up for High Stakes in NJPW star Gabriel Kidd Vs AJPW star Francesco Akira;
Kidd recently graduated from the New Japan LA Dojo under the watchful eyes of Katsuyori Shibata and is the first European graduate of the New Japan dojo system. Conversely Akira is the first European wrestler to win the AJPW Jr Heavyweight Champion as well as winning the AJPW Jr. Battle For Glory 2021.
Rev Pro UK’s High Stakes at York Hall is one of the UK’s promotions biggest shows of the year, set to take place on the 29th of January. Will Ospreay will be defending his Undisputed British Heavyweight Champion against current Undisputed Cruiserweight Champion Micheal Oku in the main event.

Rev Pro UK’s High Stakes will be available to watch via their VOD service RPW on Demand, also set to take place at High Stakes is Ricky Knight Jr vs Luke Jacobs after the former challenged the latter at Rev Pro UK’s Seasons Beatings on the 27th of December.
