Tonight we will see the beginning of a new era as NXT 2.0 will be unveiled. Fans don’t know how to feel with all the changes that have been taking place over the last few months as the company prepped for tonight’s reveal of the new NXT. Along with a new facade and theme music, the arena will now have a new name.
According to a report from PW Insider, WWE is dropping the Capitol Wrestling Center name. From now on their venue will simply be known as “NXT.” This is a change from the name that they introduced over the summer after upgrading the facility.
Going forward, the Capitol Wrestling Center name will not be used in reference to the WWE Performance Center on WWE NXT programming.
