Progress return this Saturday following a weeks break with Chapter 123: The Taking of Peckham, with two opening round matches for the Revelations of Love Tournament and more recently announced a blockbuster Championship main event. Announced earlier today Cara Noir will be defending his Progress World Championship against the number 1 contender Luke Jacobs.
Progress Wrestling made the announcement via their social media channels;
Luke Jacobs became the No. 1 contender for Cara Noir’s Championship after he defeated his Young Guns team mate Ethan Allen, this will be Jacobs second time facing off with Champion Cara Noir after winning the Natural Progress series last year. Noir has been feuding with Jacobs’ mentor and North West Strong stable mate Chris Ridgeway who recently faced Noir in an iron man match with the result being a draw. At chapter 122 Noir was forced to team with Ridgeway in a tag team match with new champions the Smoking Aces, Ridgeway would eventually turn on Noir leaving him to take the loss before softening him further ahead of his up coming match with Luke Jacobs.
