Survival of the Fittest Qualifying Match: Demonic Flamita vs. Rey Horus
(20-minute time limit)

The winner of this match between former friends and MexiSquad partners advances to the Survival of the Fittest six-way elimination final for a shot at the ROH World Title. After a clean break, Flamita kicked Horus in the midsection and began stomping him. Flamita speared Horus through the ropes, sending them both crashing to the floor. Flamita placed Horus on a chair outside the ring and prepared to do a moonsault off the apron, but Flamita got out of the chair and swept Flamita’s legs, causing Flamita to land hard on the apron. As Flamita sat on the chair to catch his breath, Horus hit a flip dive over the top rope onto the seated Flamita. Later, Flamita hit Spanish Fly on the floor.

Back inside the ring, Flamita hit a Frog Slash for a near fall. Horus answered with Code Red from a hurricanrana position for a near fall. Flamita planted Horus with a pendulum DDT from the apron into the ring. Flamita made a nonchalant cover, and Horus kicked out. Flamita tossed Horus in the air, but Horus came down with a DDT for a near fall. Horus went to the top rope, but Flamita hit the ropes, causing Horus to lose his footing and straddle the top turnbuckle. Flamita landed a Muscle Buster/Codebreaker combination and followed with a super kick for the victory in 11:02. After the match, Flamita stepped on Horus’ face as he exited the ring.

Pure Rules Match: Silas Young vs. Josh Woods
(30-minute time limit)

After several minutes of back-and-forth mat wrestling, Young grabbed a headlock and nailed Woods with a punch to the face out of the referee’s view. After Woods backed Young into the corner and the referee got between them, Young again punched Woods unbeknownst to the referee. An incensed Woods punched Young in the face in full view of the referee, who issued a warning.

Later, Young set up for a superplex off the middle rope, but Woods turned it into a twisting superplex. Woods applied a rear naked choke, but Young used the first of his three allotted rope breaks. Woods attempted to German suplex Young off the apron, but Young held onto the ropes, which was his second rope break. Young halted Woods’ momentum with a DDT on the apron. Young rolled Woods into the ring for a near fall. Woods hoisted Young onto his shoulders, and Young grabbed the ropes to exhaust his rope breaks.

Young hit FYB/FYF followed by a knee to the face. Young landed an Anarchist Suplex and went for the cover, but Woods used his first rope break. Woods drove Young into the corner with a t-bone suplex. Woods applied the Beast Lock. Young grabbed the rope, but he was out of rope breaks, and he tapped out at 21:29. After the match, Woods extended his hand. Young hesitated, but then slapped Woods’ hand and exited the ring.
