Pre-match comments from The Allure and Willow

No. 1 Contender’s Match: Mandy Leon (w/Angelina Love) vs. Willow

The winner of this match goes on to face ROH Women’s World Champion Rok-C for the title at the Final Battle: End of an Era pay-per-view on Dec. 11 in Baltimore.

After Leon went to the floor, Willow started to follow her, but Love distracted Willow. That allowed Leon to sweep Willow’s leg, sending her face first onto the apron. Leon rammed Willow into the barricade and suplexed her on the floor. Back inside the ring, Leon hit a missile dropkick and a running knee to the face in the corner. Leon hit a neckbreaker but only got a one count. Leon landed a series of forearms to the chest followed by an elbow drop for a two count.

Willow rallied and hit a spinebuster for a near fall and a Death Valley Driver for a near fall. Willow set up for a power bomb but Leon countered with a back-body drop for a near fall. Willow connected on a cannonball in the corner but came up empty on a  moonsault. Leon hit Astral Projection, but she was too weakened to make the cover immediately. Those precious seconds cost her, as Willow kicked out just in time.

Love grabbed a chair at ringside, but Quinn McKay came out and tried to take it away from her. Chelsea Green and Trish Adora showed up to help McKay, while Miranda Alize, Vita VonStarr and Holidead joined Love’s side in a tug of war over the chair. Max The Impaler then came out and snatched the chair away from Love. Max scooped up Love and tossed her onto Alize, VonStarr and Holidead.

Meanwhile, Willow landed a superkick to Leon and followed with the Bae Bomb for the victory.

Post-match comments from Willow

Willow said she’s bringing the spontaneity and enthusiasm when she faces Rok-C at Final Battle, but she’s also a threat, as evidenced by her wins over both members of The Allure. “So put on your working boots. I’ll put on my sparkly boots. And we’ll see who’s really on top of the women’s division here,” Willow said.

Pre-match comments from PJ Black (w/Flip Gordon) and Bandido (w/Rey Horus)

Non-title Match: ROH World Champion Bandido (w/Rey Horus) vs. PJ Black (w/Flip Gordon)

Black tossed Bandido out of the ring. On the floor, Black held Bandido and told Gordon to punch him in the face. Gordon, who still thinks it’s 2018 due to suffering from retrograde amnesia, said that wouldn’t be honorable. Black punched Bandido. Then he clapped his hands twice and again ordered Gordon to punch Bandido. This time, Gordon obeyed. This was all done right in front of the referee, who of course disqualified Black.

Horus did a flip dive over the referee onto Black and Gordon. After a brief standoff between the two sides, the referee agreed to make a tag match. The teams immediately began brawling on the floor.

Bandido & Rey Horus vs. PJ Black & Flip Gordon

Black and Gordon isolated Horus. Black hit Kinder Surprise on Horus for a two count. After Black inadvertently dropkicked Gordon, Horus hit a corkscrew tornado DDT off the top rope on Black. Horus tagged in Bandido, who ran wild on both Black and Gordon. Bandido Gorilla-pressed Gordon and tossed him onto Black on the floor. Bandido gave Horus a boost on a flip dive onto Black and Gordon on the floor.

Back inside the ring, Bandido hit a frog splash on Gordon for a two count. Horus assisted Bandido on a splash onto Gordon, but Black made the save. Later, Gordon hit a top rope blockbuster on Horus, who was on Black’s shoulders. With Horus on Gordon’s shoulders this time, Black hit Code Red from the top rope, but Bandido made the save. Bandido hit Spanish Fly off the top rope on Black for a near fall. Bandido finished off Black with the 21 Plex.
