The Young Bucks Sign New Long-Term Contracts With AEW

November 26, 2021

Two of the EVPs from AEW have reportedly signed new long-term contracts with the company. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported in their most recent edition that The Young Bucks have signed new contracts with AEW. Their contracts are said to take them “through at least 2026.”

Matt and Nick Jackson were two key components in Tony Khan’s launching of AEW. The brothers signed at the same time as ‘Hangman’ Adam Page and Cody Rhodes. The announcement of their signing was made on New Year’s Eve in December 2018. They were a part of the first AEW press conference that revealed the company’s status as a promotion, which also included the announcement of Chris Jericho’s signing.

They were a part of the first AEW event, Double or Nothing, back in May of 2019. They faced Penta El Zero M & Rey Fenix for the AAA tag titles.

The Young Bucks are all around one of the most decorated tag teams. They have won championships in AEW, PWG, and New Japan Pro Wrestling. They have been voted ‘Tag Team of the Year’ six times by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
