WWE has been firing quite a few members of staff and WWE Superstars since April and now it seems the company has fired yet another unexpected name.
After the release of Adnan Virk, now it seems the company has released Tom Phillips. According to a report by Fightful, Tom Phillips is officially a free agent.
While not announced officially that Tom Phillips has been let go, he’s the latest in a string of releases affecting backstage personnel and even WWE Studios. We’ve reached out to WWE for confirmation but have yet to hear back. We aren’t sure of the specific arrangement in place for his departure from WWE.
WWE has yet to officially confirm the release but it is likely that will be done soon enough.
