On December 26 WWE will return to Madison Square Garden For its traditional post-Christmas show, which was briefly halted in 2020 due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. We now know of two matches that will be taking place that night.
Mike Johnson of PW Insider reported the news. WWE Champion Big E will face Seth Rollins in one of the main event cage bouts. In the other match, WWE Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch will square off with Bianca Belair. The venue announced the matches on their official Twitter.
“JUST ANNOUNCED: For the first time ever at MSG, 2 Steel Cage Matches on the same night! Don’t miss the WWE LIVE Holiday Tour on Dec 26”
RK-Bro, Finn Balor, Bobby Lashley, Zelina Vega, Omos, AJ Styles, Damian Priest, The Street Profits, Rey Mysterio, Miz, and Rhea Ripley are also advertised for the show. No other matches have been announced for WWE’s return to MSG currently.
