On this past week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, the company unveiled the new Women’s TBS Championship.
AEW Dynamite makes the move from TNT to TBS on January 5th, 2022 and that is also when the first ever AEW TBS Champion will be crowned, according to AEW Referee Aubrey Edwards.

Edwards posted a video on her instagram account from this past week’s Dynamite when she unveiled the new TBS Championship, and announced that the first ever champion will be determined on January 5th, but this left some fans confused as to if that was the beginning or the end of the tournament.
She responded to a comment from a fan on her IG post, clarifying that the finals of the TBS Title Tournament will commence on January 5th, 2022 and that the tournament will be taking place over the next two months.

Currently, it is unknown exactly what date the TBS Title tournament will begin, as well as whom will be part of the tournament.
On this past week’s episode of Dynamite, promos from Thunder Rosa, Skye Blue, Ruby Soho and Jade Cargill aired which declared their intentions to enter the AEW TBS Championship Tournament.
