WWE and Saudi Arabia began a 10 year deal back in 2018. The first event of their arrangement was “The Greatest Royal Rumble” which took place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The pandemic caused a year absence in the deal, which will be made up and is said to be tacked onto the backend. But, it now looks like we have an idea as to when WWE will return to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
According to a report from Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Wrestling Podcast, a source told him that WWE will be returning to Saudi Arabia in October, pending any travel restrictions at the time.
Zarian tweeted:
“Hearing from source: WWE will be returning to Saudi Arabia in October. (If there are no restrictions at that time)
Heard 10/21 but have not double confirmed.”
We will keep you updated if we hear anything more about WWE’s plans to return to Saudi Arabia.
