The reason for Fuentes’ release from the company is currently unknown. What is known however is that she was in New York this weekend with WWE for WrestleMania Weekend, but was released from WWE this week.
Dasha was signed to be part of WWE’s developmental system back in 2014 as a wrestler. However, she was moved to the broadcast team in 2015 and worked as a ring announcer at NXT Live events. Most recently Dasha had been appearing on SmackDown LIVE and 205 Live as a backstage interviewer.
So far Dasha has not commented on the reports of her release from WWE. PWSheet’s report stated that she had shared a video on her instagram account saying “it’s been an interesting couple of days” and that she was going on a “no-work related trip,” however it seems as though that video has been taken down as the last post is from yesterday (Monday) and shows her wearing a helmet and visor talking about going to the track.
