WWE Officially Announces Best of Both Brands Pay-Per-View Format

February 18, 2018

WWE has officially confirmed that every pay-per-view going forward after WrestleMania 34 will be dual branded as recent rumor suggested. The company is believed to be dropping brand-specific PPVs due to low ticket sales and the desire to try and increase viewership for PPV on the WWE Network. The official WWE.com statement read, “After WrestleMania, you’ll get the best of both brands – Raw and SmackDown LIVE – every month, on every pay-per-view. Catch every event streaming live on the award-winning WWE Network.”

Below is the pay-per-view schedule beyond WrestleMania 34:

– WrestleMania 34 – April 8, 2018
– WWE Backlash – May 6, 2018
– WWE Money in the Bank – June 17, 2018
– WWE Extreme Rules – July 15, 2018
– SummerSlam – Aug. 19, 2018
– WWE Hell in a Cell – Sept. 16, 2018
– WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs – Oct. 21, 2018
– Survivor Series – Nov. 18, 2018
– WWE Clash of Champions – Dec. 16, 2018

It should be noted Payback, that was previously scheduled to be held on May 27 and WWE Battleground have both been dropped from the schedule.
