John Cena returns to Friday Night SmackDown to call out the head of the table, the Universal Champion Roman Reigns! He says he changed his name to the guardians, a Cleveland baseball team joke. Paul Heyman comes out and tells Cena he will get his answer from Roman Reigns when the Trial Chief is ready!
Finn Balor vs. Sami Zayn
This is the first match in two years on SmackDown for the first ever Universal Champion Finn Balor. Big pops for both men. Sami Zayn controls the beginning of this match. Finn Balor hit a huge dive to the outside but Sami Zayn sends Finn head first into the ring post. Blue Thunder bomb by Sami Zayn to Balor but only gets a two count but Finn Balor hits the top rope coup de grace for the pinfall win!
Baron Corbin is backstage and broken! The guy that built the website he was using scammed him. He thinks he had his identity stolen and is really sad and had to ride the bus to WWE in Cleveland!
Big E comes out to a huge reaction after just winning the money in the bank Ladder Match. WWE Intercontinental Champion Apollo Crews © comes out and says he beat Big E for the title. Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode comes out to attack. Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro come out to help Big E clear the ring!

Chad Gable vs. Angelo Dawkins
I loved all the different camera angles of this match. Dawkins picks up a huge win over Chad Gable and WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Bianca Belair makes her way to the ring at Rolling Loud Rap Festival in Miami Florida!
WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship Match
Bianca Belair (c) vs. Carmella
Fast pace start to the match from both Champion and challenger. Carmella has the speed and veteran status but the power of the champion is too much for the challenger. The KOD would be to much for Carmella and Bianca Belair would retain her WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship!
The Rated R Superstar Edge makes his way to the ring after losing at Money in the Bank because of Seth Rollins. He says he fought hard to come back and he feels he should be Universal Champion. Blames it on Seth Rollins. Rollins makes his way to the ring and says he won’t hesitate when he gets Edges Neck to end his career. Edge attacks Rollins and sends him running out of the way of a Spear!
Toni Storm vs. Zelina Vega
Huge in-ring SmackDown debut for the 25 year old Storm. Storm one for the win here for Toni Storm in a great singles match against the recently returning Zelina Vega!
Jimmy Uso vs. Dominik Mysterio
Jey Uso is out with his brother and Rey Mysterio is out with his son Dominik Mysterio. Jimmy Uso takes quick advantage over the newcomer Mysterio. Jey Uso pulled Jimmy out of the way of Mysterio gaining momentum but Rey Mysterio took out Jey Uso and Dominik Mysterio took out Jimmy going into commercial break. After a great but sloppy back and forth Jey helps Jimmy slide up Dominik Mysterio for the pinfall win.
Out comes Universal Champion Roman Reigns! Huge entrance for the tribal chief with Paul Heyman in toe, the SmackDown Tag Team Champions, The Usos join and the Bloodline stands tall draped in gold! Roman says John Cena is the same old same old. Roman doesn’t care for John Cena. Roman will not see John Cena because he says no!
Finn Balor comes out and challenges Roman Reigns but he laughs him off but says he will face Finn Balor for the Universal Championship!
