Back in April Chelsea Green was released by the WWE along with a long list of other superstars. During the time of her release, WWE was in the process of trademarking her name, and despite the fact that she was released the process continued.
Over the weekend Greene called out the company in a tweet saying “‘ I never thought i’d be in a legal battle for my Birth Given name… Going to discuss it on tomorrow’s episode of @GreenwEnvypod.”
According to frightful Select, WWE made contact with Green on Sunday to let her know that they are going to release the trademark filing on her name so she can use it.

This is good news for Green as now she can use her name without any worries of legal repercussions.
