From sleepovers watching PPVs and neighborhood wrestling matches for imaginary belts, to WWF No Mercy and WCW/NWO Revenge video games, to Starcade 97 at the former MCI Center in Washington DC headlined by Hulk Hogan vs Sting for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship, Wrestling has always been a vital part of my childhood. For over the last 20 plus years Monday nights has always been sat waiting for Nitro or Raw to come on. Growing up also came with a mature and grown respect for the business thus evolving into more sophisticated conversation about it leading to an expansion of friendships and community. Outside of wrestling  comes nerd culture, sports entertainment and movies.

I’ve been a wrestling fan for as long as I can remember. As a child, I was entranced by these real life ‘superheroes’, doing battle on my TV weekly. They even had superhero names   such as: The Sandman, The Iceman, The Crippler and The Hitman. Hell, there was even a Disco Inferno. Once I learned what the wrestling business really was, I grew to respect the sport even more. One of the few things I love more than wrestling are movies. I see over 100 a year in theater. You can find my reviews on the site as well.
