Stephen Merchant reveals why The Rock looks up to him

Appearing on NBC’s “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” writer and director of “Fighting with My Family” Stephen Merchant reveals that the film’s producer, The Rock, is shorter than him. In addition, Merchant recounts the history of his relationship with The People’s Champ and how that led to their collaboration to tell Paige’s story.

Merchant also explains why the film resonates with fans and non-fans.

“Fighting with My Family” opens nationwide on Friday, Feb. 22.
