For months, The System’s Eddie Edwards and Brian Myers have been at odds with ABC over the World Tag Team Titles, culminating with their most recent showdown at Victory Road that saw The System reclaim the gold. Meanwhile, one of the most critically-acclaimed and highly-regarded tag teams of all time, The Hardys, made their jaw-dropping return to TNA earlier this year. Having made their intentions known to recapture the TNA World Tag Team Championship, competition levels were at an all-time high heading into Bound For Glory. This led to a first-time-ever matchup on iMPACT! between ABC and The Hardys which was brought to an abrupt halt by Eddie Edwards and Brian Myers.
