Lash Legend def. Amari Miller
As the outspoken host of “Lashing Out,” Lash Legend has been talking the talk for months, and on Friday night, she walked the walk.
Making her in-ring debut against Amari Miller, who came into the bout having won three of her last four matches, Legend announced her presence by draping her fur coat over one of the ringside camerapersons and immediately showed off her strength by flinging her opponent across the squared circle.
“The In-Ring Thriller” brought the WWE Universe members to their feet by rallying with a jawbreaker and an innovative takedown, but Legend broke free from Miller’s submission hold and used a unique slam to plant her opponent face-first for the 1-2-3.
Andre Chase def. Guru Raaj
Hellbent on “schooling” his fellow Superstars on 205 Live and NXT 2.0, Andre Chase stepped back onto the purple brand flanked by one particularly exuberant student, who was waving a Chase University flag while the self-proclaimed professor made his entrance.
Guru Raaj, who was competing in his first match since July, didn’t seem to care much for Chase’s teachings, as he claimed the early advantage by out-grappling his foe and simply shrugged when Chase tried to bark out one of his mid-match “teachable moments.”
After an evenly matched contest, Chase recovered from Raaj’s picture-perfect bulldog and notched the victory when he cracked his opponent with a kick to the jaw and dropped him face-first into the canvas with an innovative maneuver.
Solo Sikoa def. Malik Blade
Can anyone on 205 Live or NXT 2.0 stop Solo Sikoa?
The no-nonsense newcomer entered combat against Malik Blade looking to boost his record to 5-0, and he landed the first big blow when he ducked his opponent and clobbered him with a clothesline.
Blade, who has endured a tough losing streak, got back in the fight by hitting a clothesline of his own and launching himself off the top rope to land a beautiful dropkick.
After kicking out at two, however, Sikoa nailed his airborne foe with a kick to the gut before tattooing him with a reverse elbow to the jaw to remain undefeated.
