CinemaCon 2025 Warner Bros Panel Announcements
One Battle After Another – September 26, 2025
Stars Regina Hall, Teyana Taylor, and Leonardo DiCaprio took the stage to talk a little bit about their new film. They all believe that this film taps into something special. Afterwards, CinemaCon attendees were treated to about 8 minutes of the film. The scene showed DiCaprio’s character arguing in the phone with a fellow revolutionary over a code word he can’t remember.
The Bride – March 6, 2026
Writer and director Maggie Gyllenhaal was joined on stage by star Jessie Buckley.
“After the last daughter i was looking for something pop and big and I wanted it to be radical at the same time…I was at this party and I saw a guy with the bride of franlensten on his arm. In the original film she is in the movie for 3 minutes and she doesn’t speak. Even in those 3 minutes she had this wild disobedience about her..what if the bride that comes back is beyond his wildest imagination and doesn’t fit in the box made for her.” – Maggie
“The punkest love that has ever existed.”- Jessie on the relationship between the monster and the bride
We were also treated to the trailer which opens with the death of the bride and her resurrection. Once she is alive again, she joins Frankenstein’s monster in killing and chaos. The visuals, tone, and carnage make this one look like it’s going to be a blast.
Next up was New Line Cinema’s announcements.
Mortal Kombat 2 – October 2025
Nothing new announced for the film but the sizzle reel showed new footage full of bloody fights and Karl Urban showing off as Johnny Cage.
The Conjuring Last Rites – September 5, 2025
“One last terrifying case.”
Final Destination Bloodlines Clip – May 16, 2025
Two brothers think that they can cheat death by dying and being resuscitated. They are in the hospital in order to make everything go as smoothly as possible. Except you can’t cheat death. A MRI machine gets turned on and powered up to dangerous levels. And we won’t be looking at MRI machines the same way again.
Weapons – August 8, 2025
Director, writer, and producer Zach Cregger revealed that Weapons is a “very twisty and turning movie. It’s a movie that unravels and reinvents itself as it goes.”
Teaser footage shows that in a small town, a whole classroom of children disappeared one night. The parents blame the teacher but something else is lurking. The rest of the footage showed possessed children, chaos, and bloodshed. It looks completely batsh*t crazy.
F1 – June 27, 2025
Producer Jerry Bruckheimer and Director Joseph Kosinski took the stage to talk about FI, the “most authentic racing experience you’ll have in the theaters.” According to Bruckheimer, this film is the ultimate theater experience with “action, romance, and humor.”
They brought with them the first 10 minutes. Sonny (Brad Pitt) is getting ready for his leg of the 24 Hours of Daytona Race. His team is in 7th which pisses him off. He gets in the car and works his way back to first. The way the race scene was filmed is enough to get your pulse racing. The sound design, camera angles that swap from wide shots to POV, it all works to make you feel as if you’re in the car with him. Sonny has zero interest in being part of a team until his old friend, played by Javier Bardem, shows up and says he needs help to finish the racing season. “I need a new driver.”
The Cat and the Hat – February 2026
Bill Hader the voice of Cat said “I’ve been chasing this role for years,” then his SNL skit as the Cat in the Hat is shown. He calls it his audition tape.
A work in progress trailer that will be released later this year shows another house destroyed by the Cat. “Nailed it,” he says proudly. But then is assigned the most important case ever to bring happiness to a new group of children. But if he screws it up he will be The Cat without a hat.

James Gunn and Peter Safran ended the night with a special look at Superman and some special guests.
Superman – July 11 2025
The presentation began with behind-the-scenes footage of Superman film. Gunn shares that he is still in the throws of post-production before bringing out stars Rachel Brosnahan, Nicholas Hoult, and David Corenswet on stage.
The cast was asked about any memorable moments they had during filming.
“It was like a scene ripped from a comic book,” Corenswet said about seeing Hoult as Lex for the first time.
“[Watching David fly onto the set] I felt like I was experiencing the magic of cinema in real time,” Hoult shared.
Brosnahan echoed their sentiments and added that sometimes she would look at David and say “dude you’re f*cking Superman!”
Gunn also shared how his dog inspired Krypto from his look to the stubbornness, Krypto is Ozu. Attendees then got a look at the scene where Superman crashes into the snow and calls for Krypto to save him. Eventually the dog kinda listens but it takes a few exasperated tries. Even the part where Krypto bites at Superman’s feet comes straight from Gunn’s experience with Ozu.
