Marvel Games and NetEase Games have officially revealed full details for Season 7: The Hunt Is On for Marvel Rivals, introducing a new playable hero, map updates, and a wave of fresh content.
The new season launches March 20, 2026, continuing to expand the fast-growing, team-based PvP shooter set across the Marvel Multiverse.
White Fox Joins the Fight
Season 7 introduces White Fox as a new Strategist hero, bringing a unique blend of support and offensive abilities to the battlefield.
Drawing power from her Kumiho (nine-tailed fox) bloodline, White Fox uses swift martial arts and mystical energy to adapt to any combat situation. Her abilities allow her to heal allies while simultaneously damaging enemies, storing energy and unleashing it to buff teammates or charm opponents mid-fight.
Her addition continues the game’s push to diversify team compositions across its three core roles — Vanguard, Duelist, and Strategist.
New Map and Gameplay Updates
Season 7 doesn’t stop with a new hero.
A new convergence map set in Lower Manhattan will be added in an update arriving April 2, giving players a fresh battleground inspired by one of Marvel’s most iconic locations.
The update also introduces a new Album System, allowing players to save and share in-game photos taken in Times Square. Players can revisit their captures and earn engagement through likes and interactions from others.
Limited-Time Events and Rewards
To celebrate April Fool’s festivities, Marvel Rivals is adding a special Deadpool-themed event.
Players who log in between April 1 and April 3 can unlock a free “Jeff Rodeo” duo emote, featuring Deadpool and Jeff. Using the emote in Times Square can also unlock additional in-game rewards, including Units and exclusive titles.
New Accessories and Content
Season 7 also brings a wide range of new accessories across the roster, including updates for characters like Iron Fist, Hawkeye, Venom, Hulk, and more.
Additionally, verified college students will gain access to exclusive rotating costumes and MVP rewards by verifying their education email.
Alongside these updates, players can expect quality-of-life improvements, balance changes, and new rewards as part of the season rollout.
Expanding the Marvel Rivals Experience
Since its launch, Marvel Rivals has continued to evolve with new heroes, destructible environments, and team-based mechanics that emphasize synergy between characters.
Season 7 builds on that foundation, adding more customization, deeper gameplay systems, and new ways for players to engage with the Marvel universe.
