Universal Pictures Home Entertainment invites audiences to experience the eerie, groundbreaking sports horror thriller HIM — the latest from Academy Award®-winning producer Jordan Peele and Monkeypaw Productions.

Following a chilling theatrical run, HIM is now available to buy or rent on digital platforms, and it arrives on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on November 11, 2025. This hauntingly original genre-bender comes packed with over 45 minutes of exclusive bonus content, including a shocking alternate ending, five deleted scenes, and behind-the-scenes featurettes that pull back the curtain on its sinister story.

A Dark Descent into Obsession and Greatness

When promising college quarterback Cameron Cade (Tyriq Withers) survives a brutal attack from an unhinged fan, he finds solace and mentorship in the form of his childhood idol Isaiah White (Marlon Wayans) — a former football legend whose charm soon reveals something far more dangerous beneath the surface.

As the student-athlete’s dedication to greatness curdles into something darker, HIM becomes a psychological descent into obsession, fame, and the high price of ambition. Peele describes the film as “a perfect Monkeypaw story because of the mischief in the idea alone.”

Starring a Dynamic Ensemble

The film boasts powerhouse performances from Marlon Wayans (Air, Respect), Tyriq Withers (“Atlanta,” I Know What You Did Last Summer), Julia Fox (Uncut Gems), Tim Heidecker (Us), and Jim Jefferies (“The Jim Jefferies Show”).

Directed by Justin Tipping (Kicks, Joe vs. Carole) from a screenplay by Zack Akers & Skip Bronkie, HIM fuses the intensity of sports cinema with the eerie precision of psychological horror — a combination that’s uniquely Monkeypaw.

Bonus Features

The Digital and 4K UHD editions feature a wealth of exclusive extras, including:

  • Alternate Ending: Zay’s Nightmare
  • Deleted Scenes, including Cheers, Don’t Be a Mascot, The Publicist, Fantasy Football, and Cam’s Discovery

  • Anatomy of a Scene: Rebirth and A Diabolical Game of Catch

Each feature dives into the film’s thematic core — the balance between performance, identity, and the dark side of perfectionism.
