STARZ SETS JANUARY 16 PREMIERE FOR
“THE BMF DOCUMENTARY: BLOWING MONEY FAST”

Terry “Southwest T” Flenory Speaks Out Exclusively Revealing His Side Of The Riveting Black Mafia Family Story

STARZ has officially set a January 16, 2026 premiere date for season two of The BMF Documentary: Blowing Money Fast, returning with a powerful new chapter that promises to reshape how audiences understand the rise and fracture of the Black Mafia Family.

Streaming weekly on Fridays exclusively via the STARZ app and all STARZ streaming and on-demand platforms, the six-episode season is anchored by a major revelation: Terry “Southwest T” Flenory is breaking his silence for the first time in an exclusive, in-depth interview that spans the entire season.

For years, Terry Flenory’s voice has remained largely absent from the public narrative surrounding BMF. Season two places him front and center, offering unprecedented insight into his role as the architect of the organization, his deep bond with his brother Demetrius “Meech” Flenory, and the personal, psychological, and external pressures that ultimately led to the unraveling of their empire.

A Story of Brotherhood, Power, and Consequence

“The BMF Documentary: Blowing Money Fast” traces the full arc of the Black Mafia Family’s ascent and collapse — from Detroit street origins to national notoriety. What begins as a story of ambition, loyalty, and shared vision gradually transforms into one shaped by betrayal, paranoia, and relentless law enforcement scrutiny.

Season two deepens that exploration by reframing the familiar narrative through Terry’s perspective. His testimony sheds light on the internal dynamics of BMF, the strategic decisions that fueled its expansion, and the emotional toll of watching a brotherhood fracture under the weight of power and surveillance.

Rather than glamorizing the mythology surrounding BMF, the docuseries leans into the consequences — examining how legacy, reputation, and family bonds are permanently altered by the choices made along the way.

Executive Team and Creative Vision

The docuseries is executive produced by Curtis 50 Cent Jackson and Shan Nicholson, who also serves as showrunner. Additional executive producers include Razan Ghalayini, Richard Perello, and Stacey Offman, with Khidija Rivera and Jessica Vale as co-executive producers and Kenyatta Steans serving as supervising producer.

Produced by Jigsaw Productions in partnership with G-Unit Film & Television, the series reflects Jigsaw’s long-standing commitment to deeply researched, ethically grounded, and emotionally resonant documentary storytelling.

A Defining Chapter in the BMF Story

With Terry Flenory’s voice finally taking center stage, season two positions itself as a defining chapter in the broader BMF canon — one that complicates long-held assumptions and invites viewers to reconsider the human cost behind the legend.

“The BMF Documentary: Blowing Money Fast” season two premieres Friday, January 16, 2026, with new episodes streaming weekly on STARZ.
