A free-spirited second son unwilling to settle down, Benedict’s world is shaken after he becomes obsessed with a mysterious masked woman known as the Lady in Silver. With help from Eloise, he sets out to uncover her identity — unaware that she is actually Sophie Baek, a resourceful maid living under the control of the formidable Araminta Gun.
Episodes 1–4 explore Benedict’s internal conflict between fantasy and reality, love and class, and the emotional consequences of seeing people only as society defines them. As his siblings move forward in their own marriages and public lives, Benedict’s journey becomes one of self-reflection, desire, and the cost of illusion.
