Sony and Marvel have officially released the first trailer for “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” giving fans their first look at the next chapter in Peter Parker’s story.
The film arrives exclusively in theaters on July 31, 2026.
A Global Fan Event Launches the Trailer
The trailer debuted through a unique 24-hour global fan relay, following the sunrise across different time zones as Spider-Man fans around the world revealed pieces of the footage.
The event was led by Tom Holland, who invited fans to share personal stories about what Spider-Man means to them before unveiling segments of the trailer. Each participant then passed the reveal to another fan, creating a worldwide chain leading up to the full release.
The rollout concluded at the Empire State Building in New York, where Holland joined fans to debut the full trailer. The landmark lit up in Spider-Man’s signature red and blue — marking the first time it has ever done so for a trailer launch.

A New Chapter for Peter Parker
“Spider-Man: Brand New Day” picks up four years after the events of “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” introducing a completely new phase of Peter Parker’s life.
Now living in a world where no one remembers who he is, Peter has fully committed himself to being Spider-Man. As he protects a city that no longer knows his name, the pressure begins to take a toll — triggering a mysterious physical evolution that could threaten his existence.
At the same time, a new wave of crimes signals the rise of a powerful new threat, setting the stage for one of Spider-Man’s most dangerous challenges yet.
Cast and Creative Team
Tom Holland returns as Peter Parker alongside Zendaya and Jacob Batalon, continuing their roles from previous films.
They are joined by Sadie Sink, Jon Bernthal, Tramell Tillman, Michael Mando, and Mark Ruffalo, expanding the Marvel Cinematic Universe with both familiar faces and new additions.
The film is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, with a screenplay by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, based on the Marvel Comics created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko.
