“The story here is Chris Jericho has dropped two in a row,” said Excalibur.
Tony Schiavone was in the ring to interview “Hangman” Adam Page!
Hangman Page: “There is nothing that I wanted more than to come out here and tell you I’m good to go. But as of today I am not medically cleared to compete. And I’ve been told that if I come out here tonight or Friday night and get into a fight with Jon, it’ll set things back. And that’s not what I want. What I want is the same thing Jon wants, and that’s next week at the Forum.
“And I have a brain scan scheduled for tomorrow and if comes back good, I’ll be ok for the Forum next week. And Jon I’ll knock your dick in the dirt!”
Jon Moxley’s music hit! Moxley made his way to the ring!
Moxley: “I’m surprised you even made it here tonight after everything you’ve been through. I’m getting sick of the flowers and sympathy cards and this ongoing candlelight vigil for Hangman Page.
“Nobody has gotten knocked out more times in this business than me. To see you come out here playing the victim because you got knocked out…cowboy that makes me absolute sick.”
Page: “You think I’m mad at you because you knocked me out? I’ve been knocked me out more times than I can count. It’s an unfortunate part of what we do and I’d never be mad at you for that.
“What I’m angry about is how you called me out here. You didn’t let me get a word out before you made a joke.
“You nearly took my career, and you cracked a joke. And I think it’s because in that moment you felt threatened. Because if I know Jon Moxley the first thing he’d do if he got knocked out is he’d come back for revenge.
“I’ve had a month to stew on what you said to me, and two months to stew on how you knocked me out with a lariat. And I’ve had two in the chamber with your name on them. And you get them at the Forum.”
Mox: “The only joke around here that I think is funny is that you think next time is going to be any different. Your punk ass doesn’t belong in the ring with me. And next time I’m going to make sure you don’t get back up.”

Hayter: Saraya doesn’t get it. We’re homegrown talent.
Baker: “We worked our way up to the top of the women’s division. Hayter’s the champion. I’m the boss. She’s killer, I’m the pillar. I don’t know that Saraya realizes that last week she had two of the best female wrestlers in the world next to her. She had Shida and Storm next to her. How has Saraya not picked her partner yet.”
The cameras caught up with “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry backstage!

“He’s calling out the World Champion,” said Taz.
AEW World Champion MJF strolled onto the ramp!
MJF: “Cut my music. ‘Brain damage Bryan’! You want me to come into that ring and wrestle you, right? How about no? See, unlike you Bryan, I don’t get my rocks off by putting my body on the line to entertain these schmucks. ‘Cause you’re a mark. I get a big fat check in the mail whether I wrestle or not. That’s because I’m a special attraction. Just because you look like a goat doesn’t make you the greatest of all time!
“You think you’re the best wrestler in the world? That’s impossible because my belt proves it. So who died and made you the king of wrestling? Journalists or these marks who don’t have one athletic bone in their parasitic bodies.
“I am touted as being the best in the world by some people who have actually been in this business. Top names, guys that put me over, like Disco Inferno, Eric Bischoff, and the smartest man of them all and my number one fan Jim Cornette. And that’s why—”
Danielson: “Dude just shut up. I hate you and I think it’s time for us to fight.”
MJF: One second! See you might not realize this Bryan but I came here as a favor for you. I’m trying to smarten you up kid. This isn’t play wrestling. This is pro wrestling. If you want a shot at the king and the number one prize of them all, you have to become number one contender.
“Now I had a feeling you were going to stick your nose in my business so I talked to that nerd Tony Khan in the back, and if you win every match from now until February 8th, you’ll become the number one contender. And if you can win every match between now and February 8th, I’ll give you a match March 5th at Revolution. What do you say?”
Danielson: “No, I’m just going to come out here, wrestle when I want, and become the number one contender.”
MJF: “No! I run this company. Not Tony Khan. Not the EVPs! I run this company! It’s my way or it’s no way! Got it?!”
Danielson: “Dude, I’ll agree to your cute little stipulation if you agree to let me make the stipulation for our match at Revolution.”
MJF: “Seriously? Please, pick any stipulation you want moron.”
Danielson: “In this stipulation you won’t be able to do anything to get yourself DQ’ed. This is the real test to see if you’re a real professional wrestler. My challenge is for a one-hour Iron Man Match! What are you scared?”
MJF: “You’re on! I’m not worried because you’re not even going to make it past week one. You’re a choke artist!”
Danielson: “Well, we’ll see because I’m going to run through every single opponent you put in front of me from now until February 8th and then on March 5th, I’m going to expose you. I’m going to expose that you don’t have the cardio. That you don’t have the footwork. That you don’t put in the work to come out here every single week to wrestle. And after I expose you in front of these people, I’m going to put you in the coffin and kick your head in!”

Renee Paquette was backstage with Saraya, Toni Storm, and Shida!
Saraya: “Since coming to AEW I have learned we have the best female roster in the world. I am sitting next to the best wrestler in the world. So that means, Toni, you’re going to be my partner.”
“Shida felt disrespected and overlooked there,” said Taz.
Austin and Colten Gunn walked onto the ramp looking somber.
The Gunns started to eulogize FTR’s career.
Austin: “We’re here to pay our respects to FTR’s legacy.”
Colten: “They had a hell of a year. They worked at a bunch of promotions. They called themselves 7-Star FTR but they were 10-Stars in our hearts.”
Austin: “Stand up and give a moment of silence to FTR.”
