TRIOS MATCH …

The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens & Max Caster) & Daddy Ass vs. LFI (Dralistico, Preston Vance, & Rush)

The Acclaimed and Daddy Ass have been on fire as a trio, having won four straight matches together, and they have to be keeping their eyes on the AEW World Trios Champions in The House of Black with a streak like that. This Friday night they will be back in action, continuing to build that resume, but this time out they’re going to be faced with a rough bit of business in the form of La Faccion Ingobernable.

Although it’s their first time teaming as a trio, Dralistico, Preston Vance, and Rush all operate on the same wavelength of causing maximum damage to their opponent with minimal regard for the rules of engagement. The three of them have consistently demonstrated how much they enjoy hurting their opponents and essentially daring a referee to disqualify them. So Bowens, Caster, and Daddy Ass will be put through the wringer while trying to keep this streak of theirs alive!

PAY-PER-VIEW PREPARATION…..

The Gunns and Ethan Page in action!

Just two days before they go into battle at DOUBLE OR NOTHING 2023, with the fate of Ethan’s career at stake, The Gunns and “All Ego” Ethan Page will be in trios action! This one will certainly have the eyes of The Hardys and Brother Zay locked on it, studying their foes, and watching to see how it plays out before Sunday night.

COMMON GOALS…

Dr. Britt Baker & Hikaru Shida vs. Marina Shafir & Nyla Rose

https://www.youtube.com/embed/07PM2wUNXgo?start=98

Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D and Hikaru Shida have very little in common aside from both being ex-AEW Women’s World Champions, the former starting her reign at the expense of the latter, their mutual love for All Elite Wrestling, and their support of the homegrown women in AEW’s locker room. It is the last of those that has brought the two of them together as a team, defending the honor of what they’ve helped build against Ruby Soho, Saraya, and Toni Storm. They attempted to do so in Austin against the team of Soho and Storm, but the numbers game played the deciding factor yet again, and The Outcast won that night.

Still, it isn’t stopping the former foes from staying united in their efforts, and they will once again put their tag team skills to the test when taking on the vicious duo of Marina Shafir and Nyla Rose. One a former AEW Women’s Champion herself, the one Shida dethroned to begin her historic reign, the other with all the tools to win that title down the line herself.

So in this battle for supremacy of the Women’s Division, who will ultimately win out, and as one of the homegrown women of AEW herself, one can help but wonder how Nyla Rose views this entire situation…

TAG TEAM ACTION…

Best Friends (Chuck Taylor & Trent Beretta) vs. Big Bill & Lee Moriarty

The AEW International Championship Blackjack Battle Royale is going down this Sunday at DOUBLE OR NOTHING 2023, and this match is something of a preview for what may take place that night! All four of the these individuals will participate, a rather intriguing scenario given that Chuck and Trent are buds with defending champion Orange Cassidy, but Trent’s done that dance with “Freshly Squeezed” once before, so we know they are willing to fight when the championships are at stake.

For that matter, both Big Bill and Lee Moriarty are former challengers for the championship during its history, part of the already historic run that Orange Cassidy has been on thus far, leaving only Chuck Taylor as having never challenged for the All-Atlantic or International Championship. As a matter of fact, Chuck has never challenged for a singles championship in All Elite Wrestling, so that’s plenty of motivation for Sunday night as well…but that’s Sunday. First he and Trent need to get past Lee and Bill in this tag team contest, and build some momentum for Sunday’s Blackjack Battle Royale!

The final RAMPAGE before DOUBLE OR NOTHING 2023 comes to you this Friday night, back at its regular start time of 10:00pm ET/9:00pm CT, well as at AEWPlus.com for AEW’s international fans. Be sure to visit the official AEW YouTube channel for highlights from this week’s explosive episode of DYNAMITE, as well as the latest editions of ROAD TO, THE CONTROL CENTER, and much, much more! Friday night AEW fans see The Best Friends battle Big Bill and Lee Moriarty, the unlikely duo Dr. Britt Baker and Hikaru Shida taking on Marina Shafir & Nyla Rose, plus The Acclaimed & Daddys will be in trios action against LFI! It’s the last stop before DOUBLE OR NOTHING 2023 on May 28th, available to fans live on PPV from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV!!!
