Dave Crist is known as a member of oVe, former World Tag Team Champions in IMPACT Wrestling. Dave has been very candid about his feelings regarding his brother Jake and “the Mini-Draws” obsession with Sami Callihan.
“It is strange, they are always together, they like the same things, they have the same haircut. Jake really is the ‘Mini-Draw’ and the mirror image of what Sami is in life.”
So what does the future hold for Dave Crist and oVe? Dave and Jake recently renewed their rivalry with LAX on IMPACT as the two teams competed in the Main Event this past Friday night.
It was one of the hottest rivalries in IMPACT Wrestling history, Barbed Wire Massacre III was a match that we will remember forever.
They are beloved in Ohio and that was evident on Twitch recently.
Dave often times finds himself in the backseat of long drives with Sami Callihan and Jake Crist as oVe travels the country from show to show. Dave telling IMPACTWrestling.Com recently that he is working on a move called “Baker Mayfield” paying homage to the seeming savior for the Cleveland Browns quarterback who lead the team to their best season in years. Funny enough, Dave is the only Browns fan of the trio, both Sami and Jake are Cincinnati Bengals fans. It isn’t all that odd that Dave is the odd man out from what Jake and Sami are thinking or teams they cheer for. Admittedly all three men are fans of THE Ohio State Buckeyes.
Since they burst onto the scene, oVe have really shown their personality, we have learned more and more about who these men are and what they are about. Sure they are “for Ohio, by Ohio” but there is much more to all three men than we ever thought. They love wrestling, they are always out there competing and honing their craft, but the men behind the masks are deeper, perhaps darker and more calculated than we knew.
Be on the lookout for oVe in 2019 and watch out for what Dave, Sami and Jake are capable of inside a wrestling ring.
