Tonight’s episode of AEW DYNAMITE was broadcast live from the Centre Videotron in Quebec City, QC!
Excalibur, Tony Schiavone and “The Human Suplex Machine” Taz were the broadcast team for tonight’s event.
It’s Wednesday night and you know what that means!
“The Aerial Assassin” Will Ospreay vs. Katsuyori Shibata!
Will shot in for a single leg but Shibata defended and mounted Will. Shibata grounded Will on the mat and went for a cross arm breaker, but Will got to the ropes, forcing the ref to break the hold. Ospreay and Shibata chain wrestled, British style. Shibata went for the PK, but Will dodged it!
Shibata cracked Will with forearms, but Will charged at Shibata with a dropkick, taking Shibata off his feet. Will battered Shibata with forearms and then dropkicked Shibata in the corner, taking pages out of Shibata’s playbook. Ospreay jumped over the top rope and connected with a crossbody press to Shibata on the floor.
As Ospreay was getting back into the ring, Shibata caught Ospreay flush in the face with a running front kick! Shibata suplexed Will on the arena floor and then blasted Will with a brutal round kick to Will’s back!
Shibata applied a figure four leg lock on Ospreay, but Ospreay was able to counter it and escaped. They got to their feet and Will chopped Shibata. Shibata answered with a suplex.
“This is a rematch seven years in the making,” said Excalibur.
Shibata whipped Will into the barricade. Will springboarded off the barricade and connected with a forearm shot to Shibata. Will followed up with another springboard forearm into the ring. Shibata nailed Will with a forearm and Will crumbled into a heap on the mat. Shibata jabbed and chopped Will, breaking him down in the corner. Shibata rocked Will with his trademark running dropkick in the corner.
Ospreay connected with a thrust kick. Shibata anticipated Will’s next move and countered with an STF. Will reached to the ropes, forcing the ref to break the submission. Ospreay intercepted Shibata’s PK. They traded forearm strikes in the center of the ring. Ospreay had a surge of adrenaline and smashed Shibata in the back of the head with a jumping high round kick!
Shibata locked Will in a sleeper and then suplexed Will. Shibata put the sleeper back on, but Ospreay fought out of it and stomped Shibata on the back of the head! Will smashed Shibata with the Os-Cutter but Shibata kicked out at the one-count!
Will hit a back drop suplex and then wiped out Shibata with a back elbow uppercut. Will walloped Shibata with a Tiger Driver and then finished Shibata off with the Hidden Blade, pinning Shibata!
“What a war we witnessed here tonight,” said Excalibur.
Renee Paquette was backstage with The Young Bucks—Matthew and Nicholas Jackson!
Matthew said they had some goals when they returned to AEW. The first was to retire Sting, and the second was to restructure the Elite, and they did that by bringing in Okada. Matthew said his biggest goal is to get their AEW World Tag Team Championships back. And they’re going to beat Private Party tonight to get one step closer to getting their titles back.
The Continental Champion “The Rainmaker” Kazuchika Okada pulled up in an exotic sports car for the next match!
AEW World Tag Title Tournament Quarter-Final Match!
The Young Bucks—Matthew & Nicholas Jackson
vs.
Private Party—Isiah Kassidy & Marq Quen!
Private Party wiped out the Bucks with stereo tope suicidas. Matthew whipped Zay over the barricade. Private Party fired back with the Silly String off the barricade onto Matthew. Nicholas planted Quen with a Falcon Arrow off the barricade! The Bucks were trying to win by count out.
Zay helped Mark Quen back into the ring, breaking the ref’s count. Nicholas suplexed Quen onto Matthew’s knees. Brother Zay got the hot tag, scored with a thrust kick to Matthew and then did a moonsault onto Nicholas who was on the arena floor!
Nicholas nailed Quen with a German Suplex. Nicholas planted Quen with a suplex on the edge of the ring. Private Party rallied back with the Gin & Juice on Nicholas!
“Perfection by Private Party,” said Taz.
Private Party hit the More Bang for Your Buck on Matthew, but Nicholas jumped in to break up the pin attempt! Nicholas grabbed the ring bell and brought it into the ring, but the ref pulled it out of Nicholas’ hands. As the ref was distracted, Nicholas kicked Zay with a low blow! Quen took one of the title belts off the podium and cracked Matthew in the head with it. Zay went to pin Matthew, but Nicholas grabbed Matthew’s leg and put Matthew’s foot on the rope to break the pin.
Quen attempted a 630 splash on Matthew, but Matthew dodged it. Nicholas tagged in and they blasted Quen with the EVP Trigger and pinned him!
“The Bucks move on, boys,” said Taz.

Renee Paquette was backstage with FTW Champion HOOK and Chris Jericho!
Jericho said he’s never been in the ring with anyone quite like Hook. Jericho, with 33 years of experience in the ring, said he’d be happy to help Hook sharpen his skills and become the World Champion that he knows Hook can be.
“If you want my advice, I’m here for you,” said Jericho.
Hook: “I appreciate your praise, Chris. And of course I’ll take advice from you, you’re Chris Jericho. But you are Chris Jericho. I know who you are.”
Jericho: “Okay, and I know who you are. But more importantly, I know who you can be.”
Hook: “Let’s get it.”
Jericho: “Let’s get it.”
TBS Championship #1 Contender Match!
Kris Statlander vs. Willow Nightingale vs. Skye Blue vs. Anna Jay
“The CEO” Mercedes Moné was on commentary for this match.
Skye Blue caught Kris out of the gate with a thrust kick. Anna caught Willow with a kick to the chin. Willow splashed Anna in the corner and followed up with a lariat. Skye Blue planted Willow with a DDT.
Statlander body slammed Blue and rocked her with a sliding lariat. Statlander went for a body slam on Anna, but Anna escaped. Statlander knocked Anna down with a shoulder tackle. Skye Blue tripped up Kris from outside the ring, but Willow was there to pounce Skye!
“A blindside pounce!” said Excalibur.
Willow was right in front of Mercedes when she pounced Skye. Mercedes and Willow locked eyes. Mercedes smirked at Willow, neither backing down.
Back in the ring, Kris fought off Skye Blue and Anna Jay. Anna Jay superplexed Kris and covered her but Willow hit Anna with a senton to break up the pin. Skye blasted Willow with the Code Blue, but Statlander broke it up. Kris cracked Blue with a back breaker. Willow walloped Anna Jay with a shotgun dropkick.
Skye shoved Kris into Willow. Willow countered a dragon suplex attempt by Skye on the apron by drilling Skye with a Death Valley Driver on the apron! Willow power bombed Anna Jay and pinned Anna Jay!
TBS Champion Julia Hart jumped into the ring, blindsiding Willow by smacking Willow with Julia’s championship belt! Julia held her belt high, and she and Mercedes had a stare down!
Renee Paquette was backstage to interview the legendary Dustin Rhodes!
Dustin said he’s started 2024 off with a bang. Dustin said at 55 years old, he’s just as passionate about wrestling as he’s ever been.
The Butcher interrupted Dustin! Butcher challenged Dustin to a match for Friday’s Rampage! Dustin accepted, saying Butcher will find out why Dustin is a “Natural born legend!”
AEW Women’s World Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm paid a visit to the studios of Turner Classic Movies and Ben Mankiewicz, the host of Turner Classic Movies!
Toni told Mankiewicz to watch out for the shoe and then tossed it over her head as she walked off the set.
AEW World Tag Title Tournament Quarter-Final Match!
The Undisputed Kingdom—ROH World Tag Team Champs Matt Taven & Mike Bennett (with International Champion Roderick Strong)
Orange decked Taven! Bennett took Trent off his feet with a lariat. Trent flew out of the ring with a tope and took out Taven. Bennet jumped out of the ring and wiped out Trent. Orange took to the skies and jumped off the top turnbuckle, his hands in his pockets, and crashed onto Taven and Bennett!
Trent drove Bennett down with a double knee strike. Taven rocked Trent with a thrust kick. Bennett spiked Trent with a piledriver on the apron!
Orange Cassidy grabbed a tag and hit Bennett with a cross body press. Orange served one up for Taven! Orange blasted Bennett with the Stun Dog Millionaire! Taven came in and pulped Orange with a running knee strike! Taven and Bennett hit the Proton Pack, with Bennett covering Orange for a near fall!
Trent spiked Taven with a DDT! And Orange followed up with a DDT on Taven! Trent nailed Taven with a running knee strike! Strong jumped on the ring apron but Chuck Taylor pulled him back down! Roddy wiped out Taylor with his right hand! Roddy jumped into the ring to get away from Orange, dropped his title in the process, and jumped out. Orange chased after Roddy and connected with an elbow suicida!
The ref was removing the International Title from the ring when Taven and Bennett had Trent set up for their finisher. As the ref was distracted, Chuck knocked Taven off the turnbuckles. Trent rolled up Bennett with a jackknife pin and scored the victory!
“What a win!” said Schiavone.
“Interesting turn of events but congrats to Cassidy and Trent,” said Taz.
Orange, Trent, and Chuck were about to give the people what they want—the big hug, when The Bucks’ music hit! Nicholas and Matthew Jackson walked onto the ramp and stared at Orange and Trent!
Next week on Dynamite it’ll be the Young Bucks against the Best Friends in the AEW World Tag Team Championship Tournament Semifinals!
Renee Paquette was backstage with Kyle O’Reilly!
Kyle said it felt good to rip the band-aid off with his return match and victory against “Bounty Hunter” Bryan Keith. Kyle said AEW has a deep roster and there’s no such thing as an easy match. He said he loves the Undisputed Kingdom but he’s going to prove he can do it without them again this week on Collision.
Main Event Time!
“The Alpha” Konosuke Takeshita (with Don Callis) vs. Swerve Strickland (with Prince Nana)!
Swerve rolled up Takeshita for a near fall. Swerve was looking for the short arm scissors, but Takeshita got to the ropes. Takeshita connected with the Takeshita-line!
AEW World Champion Samoa Joe was watching the match on a monitor backstage, obviously having a keen interesting in this number one contender’s match.
Swerve blasted Takeshita with a diving European uppercut to the back of Takeshita’s neck. Swerve rocked Takeshita with a neck breaker over the middle rope. Swerve followed up with a backbreaker, but Takeshita fired back with a brain buster on Swerve!
Swerve nailed Takeshita with a German Suplex, but Takeshita got right to his feet and knocked Swerve’s block off with a devastating forearm! Swerve launched into a hurracanrana over the top rope and onto Takeshita on the floor!
Swerve followed up with a big diving cross body, but Takeshita kicked out at the one-count. Takeshita smoked Swerve with a knockout shot! Takeshita nailed Swerve with a running knee strike. Takeshita flipped over the top rope and landed hard on Swerve!
Takeshita hoisted up Swerve for a brain buster on the top turnbuckle, but Swerve fought out of it. Takeshita headbutted Swerve in the ribs. Swerve chopped out the legs out Takeshita with swift kicks. Swerve drilled Takeshita with a DDT off the turnbuckles! Swerve splashed Takeshita with a sky twister for a near fall!
The fans chanted “This is awesome! This is awesome!”
Takeshita fired back with a reverse hurracanrana and followed up with a Blue Thunder Bomb for a near fall on Swerve!
“Takeshita can’t believe Swerve kicked out of that,” said Taz.
Swerve clobbered Takeshita with a straight right hand! Takeshita stunned Swerve with a jumping knee strike! Swerve planted Takeshita on the crown of his head! Swerve squashed Takeshita with the Swerve Stomp on the apron! Swerve returned to the top, jumped at Takeshita, but Takeshita countered with a powerbomb! Swerve escaped a brain buster attempt, but Takeshita was prepared with a wheelbarrow suplex to Swerve. Takeshita flattened Swerve with a Power Drive Knee, but Swerve kicked out at the two-count!
Takeshita was looking for an avalanche blue thunder, but Swerve knocked Takeshita down to the mat. Takeshita avoided the Swerve Stomp. Swerve countered a blue thunder bomb attempt, sending Takeshita into the corner turnbuckles. Swerve rocked Takeshita with the House Call kick! Swerve hit the Swerve Stomp, but Takeshita kicked out! Takeshita blasted Swerve with a jumping knee strike. Swerve countered a pop-up power bomb attempt with the Swerve Stomp! Swerve planted Takeshita with the Big Pressure and pinned Takeshita!
“Well, if that isn’t a 5-star match, I don’t know what is,” said Tony Schiavone.
Renee Paquette interviewed AEW World Champion Samoa Joe after the match, asking for his thoughts about facing Swerve Strickland.
Samoa Joe: “You should ask him how he’s feeling right now. Next week, Swerve, when you walk down to that ring and sign onto that dotted line, I am going to make sure that you understand what you are asking for. You think you’re ready. No, no, you’re not that man.”
“Swerve Strickland will face Samoa Joe at Dynasty for the AEW World Championship on Sunday, April 21st, live on pay-per-view!” said Excalibur.

CMLL’s Esfinge & Star Jr.
Moxley took down Star Jr with a side headlock. Moxley grabbed Star’s hair. Star escaped and put Mox in a submission until Claudio came in and broke up the hold with a boot to Star. Moxley swung at Star, but Star ducked it and smacked Moxley in the mush. Star and Esfinge were about to go for stereo topes, but the BCC walked away. Esfinge and Star pumped the brakes.
Claudio tagged in and hurled Esfinge with the Giant Swing! Moxley grabbed a tag but so did Star Jr. Star shoved Claudio into Moxley. Star jumped off the top rope and took down both Moxley and Claudio. Esfinge and Star jumped out of the ring with a tope and a tope con hiro onto both members of the Blackpool Combat Club.
Star tried for a springboard, but Claudio countered with a European Uppercut. Moxley whipped Esfinge into the steel guardrail. Esfinge clocked Claudio with a thrust kick and then hit a monkey flip on Moxley. Esfinge tried to apply an Indian Death Lock pinning combo on Moxley, but Claudio jumped in to break up the pin. Star wiped out Moxley with a running lariat and then followed up with a tornillo on Claudio!
Moxley nearly decapitated Esfinge with a King Kong lariat for a near fall. Moxley ate a kick and then a risking knee strike from Moxley. Claudio gorilla press slammed Star right into a cutter from Moxley!
Claudio smashed Esfinge with the Ricola Bomb! Moxley put Star in an arm submission and forced him to tap out!
Moxley: “Gracias, amigos. You take that message back to CMLL in Mexico, or anywhere else in the world, and you tell any team that if they want to step up, they get stepped on!”
FTR—Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler—came down to the ring!
FTR had a stare down with BCC! It quickly escalated and the two teams traded fists!
“It did not take long for the fisticuffs to fly here,” said Tony Schiavone.
The locker room emptied as wrestlers and security guards tried to separate the BCC and FTR and contain them!
Daniel Garcia vs. Shane Taylor Promotion’s Shane Taylor (with Lee Moriarty)!
Matt Menard accompanied Garcia and then joined the broadcast booth for this match.
Taylor was throwing haymakers, but Garcia dodged them. Taylor knocked down Garcia with a shoulder block. Garcia came back with a dragon screw leg whip on Taylor. Shane Taylor shoved Garcia out of the ring with his leg. Taylor rammed Garcia into the ring apron and then whipped Garcia into the front row guardrail.
Garcia got out of the way of Taylor’s leg drop. Garcia dropkicked Taylor in the legs and then stomped him in the corner. Taylor retaliated with a pop up powerbomb and then a nasty right hand for a near fall.
Garcia escaped a package piledriver when Taylor’s leg gave out. Garcia locked on a kneebar, and Taylor tapped!
“Five in a row on Collision for Daniel Garcia,” said Tony Schiavone.
Lexy Nair interviewed Continental Champion Eddie Kingston backstage!
Kingston: “First off, Young Bucks, what you did on Dynamite was disgusting. You stole Sting and Darby’s thunder. Just like you Bryan Danielson. When you stole the thunder from Bryan Keith. That kind finally got a contract, and you took away his moment to get under his skin. Well, you did, and now I’m going to challenge you to a match at Revolution.
“Me and you, one on one, but I’m going to add a little stipulation. At the end of this match, after I beat you, you’re going to have to shake my hand. Because I know you don’t respect me. So now after I beat you again, you have to shake my hand and act like you respect me. And I know, and I pray, that that legit eats you up inside.”
“The Machine” Brian Cage (with Prince Nana) vs. The Outrunners—Turbo Floyd & Truth Magnum!
“Chance”, the mascot of the Vegas Golden Knights, was ringside cheering on the Outrunners.
Brian Cage hit a German release suplex on Truth. He double suplexed the Outrunners. Cage stepped on the head of Turbo and Turbo submitted!
Chance did the Swerve dance with Prince Nana after the match. Brian Cage clubbed Chance from behind!
FTW Champion HOOK’s music began to play!
HOOK and Cage brawled on the ramp! The fight continued all the way to the back!
Lexy Nair was backstage with the Undisputed Kingdom and Tomohiro Ishii!
Taven: “I have a bone to pick with this goofy melvin right here. I used to be in Chaos and then one day I get knee surgery and no emails, no texts, no nothing from you Ishii!”
Roderick: “Ishii! None of that matters. The only thing that matters is if you win tonight, March 3rd at Revolution, I’m coming to beat you for the AEW International Title, and I’ve been waiting eight long years for this rematch. And I can’t wait to break you. So good luck.”
Tony Schiavone was in the ring to interview “The Rated R Superstar” Adam Copeland!
Schiavone: “4-0 in the Cope Open, I want to tell you this, as far as top contenders are concerned, as we know, at Revolution Samoa Joe has the two top contenders to deal with in that three-way match. You’re number three, which means you have your pick. We have the International Championship, we have a TNT Championship. What’s going through the mind of the Rated R Superstar right now?”
Copeland: “First off, if I had been at Dynamite, that wouldn’t have happened to Sting and Darby. So, Nicholas, Matthew, that’s a warning. Now you talked about the other championships that I can challenge for. There’s Christian Cage. There’s that TNT Championship that I won and had ripped out of my hands. So, I think you know where I’m leaning.”
Daniel Garcia’s music began to play, and Garcia came down to the ring.
Garcia: “Adam it sounds to me like you think you deserve a shot at the TNT title because you’ve been getting a lot of wins. And I could not agree with you more. I believe that championship opportunities should be rewarded through wins. But you’re not the only person that’s been picking up a lot of wins. Somebody else right in front of you has been on a hot streak. And I don’t mean any disrespect, but last week when I beat the Patriarchy, I looked at Christian Cage and saw that championship, and I thought maybe, just maybe I deserve a shot at the TNT title. The thing about me is I’ll fight through that line a million times over if it means I get to hold championship gold in AEW.”
Copeland: “Okay, and I can respect that. And you didn’t beat the Patriarchy by yourself. FTR helped you. But the FTR boys speak highly of you. And that’s enough for me. I respect you. But Daniel, if you’re saying you want a shot at the TNT Championship, I want a shot at the TNT Championship, I’ve got a proposal. Wednesday, Dynamite, you and I fight each other and the last man standing fights Christian. What do you say?”
Garcia: “I accept.”
Copeland: “Now I know you had a match tonight and that’s the only reason I’m not taking your face off right now. But make no mistake about it, you’re now threatening to take food off my family’s table, and that does not work for me. So, I am going to beat your ass next week.”
Renee Paquette was backstage with Willow Nightingale, Kris Statlander, and Stokely Hathaway!
Renee said she thought the addition of Stokely was working out for them, especially after their win last night against the Outcasts.
Stokely had words for Skye Blue and Julia Hart and said that there were only two bad asses that he knows in the AEW Women’s Division, and that’s the former TBS champion Kris Statlander and the first ever New Japan Strong Women’s champion Willow Nightingale.
Willow said that she thought Skye would have been right there with them, but Skye chose a different path. Willow said that she and Skye had done a lot together, but they still hadn’t fought one another.
Mark Briscoe vs. The House of Black’s Brody King (with TBS Champion Julia Hart)!
Mark chopped away at Brody, but Brody hoisted up Mark and threw him half way across the ring. Brody blasted Briscoe with a cannonball in the corner. Brody followed up with a running senton for a near fall.
Brody King battered Mark in the corner with a stiff chop and then a boot. Briscoe pulled Brody out of the ring. Mark jumped off the apron and nailed Brody with a neck breaker. Mark used a steel chair and launched himself off it to land on Brody with a tope con hiro!
Mark tried to pull a table out from beneath the ring, but the ref stopped him, admonishing Mark. Mark went for a plancha, but Brody caught him and slammed him onto a steel chair. Back in the ring, Brody planted Briscoe with a Bossman slam for a two-count.
Briscoe kicked Brody in the head, knocking Brody to the floor. Mark climbed to the top turnbuckle and connecting with a twisting moonsault, landing on his feet! Brody blocked a Death Valley Driver and then leveled Briscoe with a lariat!
Mark Briscoe climbed to the top, but Julia Hart jumped on the apron to distract Briscoe. Brody shoved Briscoe and sent Briscoe flying, crashing onto the table on the arena floor! Brody drilled Briscoe with a Gonzo Bomb and pinned Briscoe!

Deonna Purrazzo yanked at Hogan’s arm. Kiera fired back with a hip attack. Deonna dodged a charging Kiera. Deonna went back to working on Kiera’s arm. Deonna drilled Hogan with a backstabber for a near fall.
Hogan caught Deonna with a thrust kick. Deonna blocked a piledriver attempt. Deonna applied the Venus De Milo and Hogan had to submit verbally!
AEW Women’s World Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm (with Mariah May & Luther the Butler) vs. Queen Aminata!
Toni had a headlock on Aminata. The Queen fought out of it and taunted Toni. Storm took down Queen Aminata with a Thesz Press. Toni Storm applied a full nelson. Toni Storm kicked Queen Aminata right in the face. Toni charged at Queen Aminata, but Aminata cradled Toni for a near fall!
Queen Aminata walloped Toni with a snap suplex. Toni spiked Aminata with a DDT but the challenger kicked out at the two-count. Queen Aminata retaliated with an Air Raid Crash for a near fall on the champ! “Timeless” Toni cracked Queen Aminata with a hip attack and then crunched Aminata with a piledriver for the pinfall victory!
Toni Storm: “Mister Schiavone, I know what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. But we’re in Henderson so stop looking at me like that. Darling, did you see that? Another fantastic technical show of brilliance. This week on Dynamite I will be releasing a brand new film!”

“Freshly Squeezed” Orange Cassidy (c.) vs. “The Stone Pitbull” Tomohiro Ishii!
Ishii knocked Orange to the floor with a shoulder tackle. Ishii waffled Orange with chops to the chest!
“Orange Cassidy was freshly squeezed,” said Nigel.
Orange came back with a Stun Dog Millionaire and then a twisting DDT! Orange flew out of the ring with a tope suicida to Ishii. Orange spiked Ishii with another DDT for a two-count!
Orange jumped off the top rope and planted Ishii with a diving DDT! Orange stomped Ishii in the corner. Orange connected with a shotgun dropkick, but Ishii popped back up and pounced Orange!
The fans chanted “This is awesome! This is awesome!”
Ishii blasted Cassidy with an avalanche brain buster and covered Orange for a near fall! Orange fired up but collapsed to the mat. Orange got up and went for the Beach Break, but Ishii reversed it and countered with a powerbomb! Ishii went for a sliding lariat, but Orange dodged it and cradled Ishii for a near fall.
Ishii headbutted Orange but Orange caught Ishii with an Orange Punch! Orange drilled Ishii with a Beach Break, but Ishii lifted his shoulder in the nick of time! Ishii nailed Orange with a dragon suplex. Ishii hit the sliding lariat, but Orange kicked out!
Ishii attempted the vertical brain buster, but Orange escaped! Orange decked Ishii with the Orange Punch! Ishii wouldn’t go down! Orange tried for another Orange Punch, but Ishii blocked it! Orange rolled up Ishii in a small package and pinned Ishii!
The Undisputed Kingdom surrounded the ring after the match! Taven and Bennett spiked Orange with a stuffed piledriver! Ishii sprinted back to the ring and the Undisputed Kingdom retreated! Trent came down with a steel chair as reinforcement!

Swerve Strickland (#1 ranked) (with Prince Nana) vs. “Hangman” Adam Page (#2 ranked)!
Page slapped Swerve in the face. Swerve swept out Page’s legs. They tussled to the outside. Swerve whipped Page into the barricade. Swerve jumped over the barricade and crashed onto Page on the arena floor.
Back in the ring, Page chopped at Swerve’s chest. Swerve fired back with a high boot, catching Hangman flush in the face. Swerve stomped Page in the corner. Hangman retaliated with a fallaway slam. Page was a bit ticked off by the live crowd’s reaction to him, who were about 90% behind Swerve tonight.
Swerve climbed to the top turnbuckle, but Page yanked out Swerve’s legs. Page grounded and pounded Swerve on the mat. Swerve flattened out Page and locked him in a crucifix hold. Swerve was looking to snap Page’s arm. Hangman countered and clubbed Swerve in the back of Swerve’s head. Page rammed Swerve into the top turnbuckle and Swerve tumbled to the arena floor. Prince Nana kept his distance, just like Swerve had told him to do.
Hangman hurled Swerve into the barricade. Hangman nailed Swerve with a fallaway slam on the floor. Page blasted Swerve with a sliding kick in the ring. Page rolled up Swerve for a near fall. Page was looking for the buckshot lariat, but Swerve charged him. Page backdropped Swerve onto the floor. Swerve hit a flatliner on Page out of nowhere. Swerve drilled Page with a diving uppercut.
Swerve planted Hangman with a vertical suplex. Swerve connected with the House Call for a near fall.
“That was so close,” said Taz.
“And Swerve has wrestled a smart match tonight all without the help of Prince Nana,” added Excalibur.
Swerve was looking for a superplex, but Hangman chomped down on Swerve’s forehead. Page went for a sunset flip powerbomb, but Swerve landed on his feet! Swerve cracked Page with a kick to the head. Page rallied back with a pop-up powerbomb for a two-count on Swerve.
The fans chanted “This is awesome! This is awesome!”
Swerve avoided a buckshot lariat from Page and fired back with his own buckshot lariat! Swerve splashed Page with the Swerve Stomp, but Page kicked out at the two-count! Swerve was looking for a piledriver on the barricade, but Hangman countered with a DDT!
Both men knocked one another down with big stereo boots—both men had the same idea. Swerve laughed at Page as Page was hitting him with fists. Swerve rocked Page with a backbreaker for a near fall. Swerve pounced on Page with the Swerve Stomp. Swerve pulled a table out from beneath the ring and set it up. Swerve went for a 450 splash, but Page countered by raising his knees! Justin Roberts announced five minutes remained. Page nearly decapitated Swerve with the buckshot lariat! Page covered Swerve but Swerve got his boot on the bottom rope to stop the ref’s count!
Hangman crushed Swerve with the Dead Eye on the apron! Page dropkicked Swerve as Swerve was getting back into the ring. Page cracked Prince Nana with a steel chair. Page yelled at Nana to stay out of this! When Page turned back around, Swerve pump kicked the steel chair into Page’s face!
Swerve smashed Page with the Swerve Stomp. Swerve’s ankle buckled upon landing. Hangman reversed the JML Driver and then snapped at Swerve’s ankle. On the apron, Page was thinking dragon screw leg whip, but Swerve kicked him first. Swerve hoisted up Page and planted him through the table outside the ring with the deadeye!
Swerve climbed to the top turnbuckle and went for the Swerve Stomp, but Page dodged it and Swerve collapsed immediately, his injured ankle not able to support the landing. Swerve countered the buckshot lariat from Page with the JML Driver!
“Swerve’s ankle is hurting, though, he can’t cover!” said Tony Schiavone.
Swerve went for the cover and the ref counted 1…2…and the bell rang!
Justin Roberts announced that the time limit expired, and the match went to a time limit draw!
Swerve: “No, no, I didn’t go through all this just for this to end like this. Hangman, I’m not letting you get away with this so easily. You know how this goes. Five more minutes.”
Page was smiling.
Page: “Swerve, tonight you had to beat me to become the number one contender. And Swerve, you didn’t do it! You will not be the World champion! For you, it is over!”
Tony Schiavone: “Hang on one minute. Tony Khan has just talked with me. This is not done. Because we know have two number one contenders. And that means at Revolution, there will be a three way match for the World title against Samoa Joe!”
Renee Paquette was backstage to interview AEW World Champion Samoa Joe!
Samoa Joe: “I cannot believe I am dealing with this right now! Once again, we celebrate mediocrity! This was a draw! The powers-that-be have stacked the deck against me and they don’t want me as champion, but it is not your choice!
“I am Samoa Joe. I am the AEW World Champion! No matter what you do, come Revolution I walk out AEW World Champion. It is only a shame that the both of you will suffer because of it!”

AEW Women’s World Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm (with Luther & Mariah May)
vs. Red Velvet!
“The Virtuosa” Deonna Purrazzo joined the broadcast booth for this match.
Toni took down Red Velvet with a side headlock. Velvet fired back with a leg lariat. Storm jumped on Red Velvet and pummeled her with lefts and rights. Toni planted Red Velvet with the Sky High for a near fall.
Red Velvet blasted Toni with a big time bulldog. Velvet rocked Toni with a double knee strike. Red Velvet splashed Toni with a standing moonsault for a near fall. Toni tripped Red Velvet and then smashed her with a hip attack. Toni spiked Red Velvet with a DDT for a near fall.
Toni ducked a corkscrew kick from Red Velvet. Toni applied an ankle lock and forced Red Velvet to tap out! Toni would not release the ankle lock. Deonna got in the ring, but Luther separated the two of them!
Renee Paquette was backstage with AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy, Trent, and Rocky Romero!
Renee asked them about their trios match on Rampage against the Undisputed Kingdom, and if Orange was worried about the wear and tear on his body he might have from that match ahead of his Collision match against Ishii. Orange said “yeah, but it’ll be fine.” Orange said they were going to check on the injured Chuck Taylor now, but Rocky would be subbing for Chuck on Rampage.
Trios Match!
Blackpool Combat Club—Bryan Danielson, Claudio Castagnoli, & Jon Moxley
vs.
CMLL’s Hechicero, Mascara Dorada, & Volador Jr.!
Hechicero took down Danielson with a shoulder tackle. Hechicero put Danielson into a crucifix cradle for a near fall. Claudio tagged in and Dorada fired an overhand chop. Claudio tripped Dorado and planted him hard.
Moxley and Volador Jr tagged in for their respective teams. They traded forearm strikes. Volador took down Mox with a hurracanrana and followed up with a tope suicida. Moxley retaliated with a tope suicida of his own!
Claudio hurled Volador in the Giant Swing! Mox tagged in and covered Volador, but Volador kicked out at the two-count. Volador connected with a thrust kick. Dorado launched off Moxley and clobbered Danielson with a corkscrew kick. Volador and Hechicero connected with stereo topes on the BCC and then Dorado followed up with a shooting star press off the middle rope to the outside!
The fans chanted “This is awesome! This is awesome!”
Hechicero spiked Danielson with a backbreaker and then Dorado followed up with a 450 splash for a near fall! Volador rocked Mox with a backstabber, but Danielson was there to hit Volador with a running knee strike!
Hechicero and Claudio exchanged strikes. Hechicero placed Claudio in a leg lock. Danielson stomped on Hechicero until Hechicero released Claudio. Hechicero placed Danielson in the stretched muffler. Moxley kicked Hechicero in the ribs to break it up. Moxley clobbered Dorada and Volador with a stereo clothesline. Claudio blasted Hechicero with a massive European Uppercut. Hechicero retaliated with a guillotine leg drop for a near fall!
Claudio shoved Hechicero backwards and Hechicero inadvertently collided into the ref who was standing behind him. Claudio struck Hechicero with a low blow while the ref was still collecting himself. Claudio covered Hechicero and scored the pin!
“The luchadores at ringside are just livid,” said Tony Schiavone.
Mistico, Esfinge and Star Jr. jumped into the ring! Christopher Daniels, Matt Sydal, Angelo Parker and Matt Menard sprinted down to even up the odds for the BCC! The luchadores retreated!
Backstage, a camera crew caught the Undisputed Kingdom assaulting Chuck Taylor!
Adam Cole rolled up in his wheelchair and said, “Get well soon, Chuck!”
“We need to get some medical attention for Chuck Taylor! What is the meaning of this?” asked Excalibur.
AEW CEO & GM Tony Khan had a major announcement!

Chris Jericho vs. The Don Callis Family’s Konosuke Takeshita!
Jericho sent Takeshita over the top rope with a lariat. Hobbs and Callis approached Takeshita and Callis slapped Takeshita in the face, showing him some tough love. Takeshita whipped Jericho into the barricade. Takeshita nailed Jericho with a brain buster on the arena floor!
Takeshita splashed Jericho with a senton in the ring. “The Alpha” hit the Takeshita Line on Jericho. Hobbs swiped at Jericho’s leg and Takeshita struck Jericho from behind. Sammy Guevara clocked Hobbs with a steel chair from out of nowhere!
Hobbs grabbed the chair from Sammy and threw it down. Sammy used his quickness and jumped off the ring steps and delivered a cutter to Hobbs! Sammy struck Hobbs with the steel chair again. Inside the ring, Jericho dodged a jumping knee strike from Takeshita. Jericho dropkicked Takeshita from the turnbuckles. Jericho jumped off the turnbuckles and crash landed on Takeshita outside the ring.
Takeshita flattened Jericho with a fireman’s carry. Takeshita ran and flipped over the top rope and wiped out Jericho outside the ring! Jericho countered Takeshita’s senton by raising his knees. Jericho went for a lionsault, but Takeshita likewise got the knees up to counter it!
Takeshita flung Jericho backwards with a wheelbarrow suplex. Jericho countered the Takeshita Line with the Code Breaker for a near fall! Jericho went for the lionsault, but Takeshita grabbed him and spiked Jericho with a Blue Thunder Bomb, but Jericho kicked out at the two-count. Jericho positioned himself on the top turnbuckle and was punching down on Takeshita. Takeshita slipped under and pulled Jericho’s face into the turnbuckle! Takeshita rocked Jericho with an avalanche blue thunder bomb! Jericho kicked out just in time!
Takeshita connected with the power drive knee. Jericho countered a second knee strike attempt with the Walls of Jericho! Don Callis threw a steel chair into the ring, but the ref saw it and grabbed it. As the ref had his back turned, throwing the chair out of the ring, Don Callis jumped on the apron and blasted Jericho in the head with a screwdriver! Takeshita applied the lion tamer on Jericho, but Jericho refused to give up! Jericho tried to reach the ropes, but Takeshita pulled Jericho to the center of the ring and finally Jericho was forced to tap!
“I have never seen anyone beat Chris Jericho with the Lion Tamer!” said Excalibur.
“Me neither! That was so impressive,” replied Taz.
Main Event Time! AEW World Tag Team Championship Tornado Match!
“Absolute” Ricky Starks & Big Bill (c.) vs. Darby Allin & Sting!
Big Bill whipped Darby into the barricade right in front of Sting’s family. Sting brawled with Starks through the crowd. Sting slammed a trash can onto Starks’ back. Darby lured Big Bill and Starks closer to him…and Sting jumped off a balcony and wiped out the tag champs beneath him!
“I can’t believe what we just saw,” said Excalibur.
Sting splashed Big Bill against the barricade! Big Bill fired back with a clubbing strike. Darby rocketed out of the ring like a missile, but Big Bill caught him and planted him with the Bossman Slam!
Big Bill bounced Darby’s head against the mat! Big Bill hurled Darby overhead and behind him! Big Bill pulled out a table from beneath the ring. Starks told Big Bill to press slam Darby. Big Bill lifted Darby up, but Sting charged in, knocking Starks and sending him colliding into Big Bill.
Sting took on Big Bill and Starks, dishing out big right hands to the champs! Starks grabbed Sting from behind and spiked him with the Scorpion Death Drop! Starks covered Sting but Darby broke up the pin!
“Great save by Darby Allin,” said Taz.
Darby nailed Big Bill with a Coffin Splash in the corner. Sting followed up with the Stinger Splash! Darby decimated Big Bill with a Code Red! Darby hit the Coffin Drop on Big Bill outside the ring! Starks tried for a dropkick on Sting, but Sting stopped in his tracks, avoiding it. Sting applied the Scorpion Death Lock on Starks! Big Bill, with Darby Allin on his back, climbed onto the apron, attempting to break up Sting’s finisher. Darby turned around, gouged Big Bill’s eyes, and forced Big Bill to fall off the apron and through the table!
“Big Bill was driven through the table by Darby,” said Excalibur.
Starks crawled and grabbed the ropes, but there are no rope breaks in a Tornado Match! Starks was able to pull his body far enough under the ropes that Sting lost his grip. Sting went for the Stinger Splash, but Starks moved, ripping the buckle pad out of the way! Sting collided with the exposed turnbuckle! Starks speared Sting but Sting managed to kick out at the two-count!
Starks went for another spear, but Sting caught Starks! Sting drilled Starks with a Scorpion Death Drop and pinned Starks!
And new AEW World Tag Team Champions…Darby Allin and Sting!
“History has been made!” said Tony Schiavone.
Sting’s sons got into the ring to congratulate their father!
“He’s got gold again!” said Tony Schiavone.
The Young Bucks—Mattew and Nicholas Jackson, ambushed Sting and Darby Allin with white baseball bats! They assaulted Sting’s sons next!
“They stole the spotlight from the new Tag Team champions and are putting the beating on them,” said Taz.
The Bucks smashed a busted open Darby with the BTE Trigger!
“Tony, Matthew called me into their office earlier today and said it is now called the EVP Trigger,” said Excalibur.
Matthew held Sting back while Nicholas hit Sting with the bat! Nicholas punted Sting in the head! The Young Bucks grabbed the belts and tossed them on top of Darby and Sting.
“The Young Bucks, like it or not, made a heavy statement right now,” said Taz.
“This is beyond the pale. Nicholas and Matthew Jackson will never recover from what went down tonight. Their reputation is destroyed,” said Excalibur.

Samoa Joe: “I stand before you your undisputed, undeniable AEW World Champion. And tonight is a night of celebration because a new championship endeavor, we embark upon tonight. No more will AEW Championship opportunities be given. No, tonight, they must be earned. That’s why all your favorite AEW superstars are going to battle tooth and nail in this ring, all for an opportunity at my championship gold.
“I come here with a warning. You may think you’re getting an opportunity at a championship. But I’m here to tell you it’s going to be an opportunity to have the worst night of your life. Anyone that comes in here, I’m going to do them like I did Hook last week. I will take everything from you!”
FTW Champion Hook’s music began to play! Hook entered the ring with a microphone.
HOOK: “Last week you won, I lost.”
Hook extended his hand and offered it to Samoa Joe before they embraced.
Hook: “I don’t know when, and I don’t know where, but I will see you again.”
Samoa Joe: “I bet you will. Now if you excuse me, I came here to survey the field, so you can get to the back of the line. Security, get the unworthy out of my ring.”
AEW Security entered the ring but Hook suplexed them until Hook had enough and stormed off, defiantly scowling at Samoa Joe on his way out.
“Hangman” Adam Page vs. Penta El Zero Miedo (with Alex Abrahantes)!
AEW World Champion Samoa Joe joined the broadcast team.
They began with a collar and elbow tie up. Page backed Penta into the ropes and then allowed for a clean break. It quickly escalated as both men brought heavy shots, blistering one another with chops. Penta connected with a thrust kick, but Page returned with a big boot of his own. Penta El Zero Miedo wiped out Hangman Page with a Sling Blade. Hangman retaliated with a fallaway slam and then a standing shooting star press for a near fall.
Penta El Zero Miedo hit a leg drop from off the bottom rope for a two-count on Page. They traded chops again. Hangman landed a thrust kick but then they knocked each other down with clotheslines, both men having the same idea.
Penta flew over the top rope with a tope con hiro and crashed onto Hangman Page outside the ring! Page dodged a double stomp and countered with a Death Valley Driver on Penta El Zero Miedo for a near fall. Penta planted Page in the center of the ring and nearly put away the former AEW World Champion.
Hangman Page stunned Penta El Zero Miedo with a pop up powerbomb. They traded strikes on the ring apron. Hangman went for the Buckshot Lariat, but Penta blocked it and nailed Hangman with the Made in Japan for a two-count!
Hangman Page drilled Penta El Zero Miedo with a Dead Eye on the apron! Page connected with the Buckshot Lariat and pinned Penta El Zero Miedo!
“Boy, that’s a big win as far as rankings go,” said Tony Schiavone.
Page pointed at Samoa Joe and his championship and yelled, “I am taking that away from you!”
Renee Paquette was backstage with AEW International Champion “Freshly Squeezed” Orange Cassidy!
Renee wanted to know Orange’s reaction to Roderick Strong’s challenge.
Orange: “My reaction to that is okay. I will wrestle you for my International Championship at Revolution on March 3rd. If you want to wait that long, fine, but I’m not going to wait. I’m going to keep wrestling because that’s what I do. I told Tony to put some of my friends and enemies in a match on Rampage and the winner of that will face me for my championship on Collision. So, I guess Tony is going to do it.”
The Young Bucks—Nicholas and Matthew Jackson, were walking backstage when Alex Marvez approached them, hoping to get a word with them!
Nicholas: “Our first plan of action as executives? Let’s talk about your first plan of action. By showing a little more respect to us. By calling us by our passport names of Nicholas and Matthew Jackson.”
Matthew: “Alex, as the last two remaining, surviving, EVPs, backstage chatter and buzz is through the roof. We fixed the catering problem. Did you have lunch? You’re welcome. Most importantly we’re just here to make sure the show runs smoothly. Let’s have a killer show.”
Top Flight—Dante and Darius Martin were walking down the hall past the Young Bucks.
Nicholas: “Look who’s showing up so late tonight.”
Matthew: “Did you guys just get here?”
Darius: “No, we’ve been here since one.”
Matthew: “Why aren’t you in your gear and where’s your dang credentials?”
Dante: “Credentials? You guys hired us.”
Nicholas: “Next time it’s going to be a fine, but we love you guys.”
Matthew: “Hey, we’re just kidding.”
The Undisputed Kingdom’s Wardlow (with Adam Cole, Roderick Strong, and ROH World Tag Team Champions Matt Taven & Mike Bennett)

Best Friend’s Trent Beretta (with Rocky Romero, Chuck Taylor, & AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy)!
Wardlow sent Trent for a loop with a big shoulder tackle right out of the gate! Wardlow hurled Trent halfway across the ring. Wardlow was looking for the Powerbomb Symphony, but Trent cradled him with a small package for a near fall.
Wardlow charged at Trent, but Trent ducked him and then dropkicked Wardlow through the ring ropes. Trent went over the top rope, but Wardlow countered with a beautiful anti air forearm. Wardlow whipped Trent into the barricade.
Back in the ring, Wardlow headbutted Trent in the chest. Trent countered a lariat with a jumping knee strike. Trent connected with a tope suicida. Trent walloped Wardlow with a steel chair. Trent rocked Wardlow with a half and half suplex in the ring, followed by a DDT. Trent spiked Wardlow with a piledriver for a near fall!
Trent climbed to the top rope and went for a crossbody, but Wardlow caught him and powerslammed Trent! Wardlow power bombed a limp Trent and pinned him! After the match, Wardlow tried to grab Trent again, but the Best Friends saw enough and entered the ring. The Undisputed Kingdom called off the “War Dog”.
Excalibur announced that this Saturday on Collision it’ll be the “American Dragon” Bryan Danielson vs Yuji Nagata!
AEW Women’s World Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm went face-to-face with “The Virtuosa” Deonna Purrazzo during an interview on the stage with Renee Paquette!
Luther the Butler and Mariah May joined Toni on the stage.
Toni: “I will speak first. Deonna, I believe you were recently body shamed. Which I think is ridiculous because there is so much more to shame about you. Yes, we do have history, but that doesn’t mean you can just waltz in here to get yourself a title shot! I have had many friends and all of them less talented than me. You may be the greatest technical wrestler in the world today but let me make one thing clear. If you step into that ring with me, I will twist your lips so hard you will need an epidural!”
Deonna: “This is insane. I didn’t come to AEW to make friends. I came to become the AEW Women’s World Champion. It just so happens, Toni, that the champion used to be my friend. But I have no problem earning a title opportunity and winning arm by arm. This isn’t the Toni Storm that I want to wrestle, this delusional sham.
“I want to wrestle the Toni Storm that lived on dojo floors with me, that moved to America and lived in my house. That Toni Storm was arguably one of the best in the world. And that Toni Storm is the one I want to beat for the AEW Women’s World Championship. So, I’m begging you, dig down deep inside yourself and find that version of yourself. And if you need a reminder, take a look at your ankle, because I’m sure it looks a lot like mine.”
Deonna revealed she and Toni had matching ankle tattoos.
Deonna: “You might have everyone here fooled, Toni, but not me.”
Toni: “You know what, Deonna You can take your little tattoo and blow it right out of your bumhole!”
Toni whipped a shoe at Deonna and Deonna threw a shoe right back at Toni! Deonna attempted to put Toni in the Venus De Milo but Mariah May grabbed Toni by the leg and yanked her away from Deonna’s grasp! Deonna pump kicked Luther in the face! Mariah May and Toni Storm were fleeing when Deonna took Toni’s World championship and hoisted it into the air!
“Could this be a vision of the future?” wondered Excalibur.
Jon Moxley was backstage!
Mox: “Since you first heard the words ‘Blackpool Combat Club’, do you know how many matches we’ve won. I don’t keep track, but trust me, it’s a lot. Do you know how many victory parties we’ve had? Zero. We don’t spend a lot of time patting each other on the back because we don’t have the time. There’s always another match around the corner. And that’s what it takes to be the best, to be elite.
“A lot of people come here, and they don’t know what elite means. In 2024 I will maim and torture anyone that can’t keep up in the ring! I’m going to do it every single time!”
Excalibur announced this Friday on Rampage it’ll be Jon Moxley against Shane Taylor Promotions’ Lee Moriarty!
Taya Valkyrie and Johnny TV requested a moment of our time!
Taya: “Let me reintroduce ourselves. I am Taya Valkyrie, and this is Johnny TV. The most TV-ready couple in AEW. Now I’ve been watching, and some things are really starting to piss me off. That girl that’s trying to jump to the head of the line? Deonna Listen, I’m not one of those girlies that don’t know who ‘the virtuosa’ is. I know her very well. So, I challenge you to a little match next week on Dynamite. And then after that you can get to the back of the line.”
Up next: Swerve Strickland (with Prince Nana) vs. Jeff Hardy (with Matt Hardy)!
Swerve used a side headlock takeover, looking to make a quick end to this, but Jeff escaped. Hardy rolled up Swerve, grabbing a handful of tights, but Swerve kicked out. Swerve nailed Jeff with a nasty back breaker. Swerve was going for an arm breaker, but Matt jumped on the apron and pointed at Swerve. As Swerve was distracted by Matt, Jeff kicked upwards at Swerve.
Jeff dropkicked Swerve in the back. Jeff used a Russian Leg Sweep. Jeff rammed Swerve into the top turnbuckle. Swerve swept out Jeff’s legs and then kicked him in the jaw. Swerve blasted Jeff with a neck breaker from the apron, as Jeff’s legs were hung up in the ropes. Swerve set up a folding chair and put Jeff on it. But Jeff got up and swept out Swerve’s legs. Jeff ran and leaped off the steel ring steps, crashing onto Swerve who was on the barricade!
Jeff knocked Swerve off the turnbuckles with a headbutt. Swerve climbed back up and clubbed Jeff with forearms. Jeff fought back, took flight and landed on Swerve! Jeff connected with a sling blade and then a Manhattan Drop. Jeff dropped an elbow, but Swerve kicked out at the two-count.
Swerve shoved Jeff Hardy over the top rope. Swerve pulled Jeff into the steel ring post! Swerve pulled Jeff onto the steel ring steps but Jeff countered with a Twist of Fate, driving Swerve’s forehead into the steps! Jeff climbed to the top turnbuckle and went for the Swanton, but Swerve rolled out of the way. Swerve blasted Jeff with the House Call for a near fall!
“What a kick out! I thought he had Hardy dead right there,” said Taz.
Swerve was looking for a Twits of Fate of his own, but Jeff reversed it with a cradle for a near fall. Jeff stunned Swerve with a series of jawbreakers. Swerve lured Jeff in and planted him with a flatliner. Swerve nailed Jeff with a delayed vertical suplex. Swerve crushed Jeff with the Swerve Stomp and pinned Jeff Hardy!
After a commercial break, Renee Paquette interviewed “Hangman” Adam Page backstage!
Renee congratulated Hangman on being 3-0 in 2024, which, in her opinion, should be putting him pretty close to the top of the rankings once they drop at the end of the month.
Prince Nana and Swerve Strickland interrupted Renee.
Swerve: “Why are you interviewing this man? Did you see what I just did out there to Jeff Hardy? I’m undefeated in 2024 as well. Another fun fact. Who is the last person that beat you, Hangman?”
Hangman: “It’s New Year, New Me, dumbass. So, I’m 3-0, and if I were a betting man, I would bet that someone is going to come along and knock you down these rankings before you get a whiff of the World title.”
Renee had some breaking news! “Next week on Dynamite both of you will be in Dealer’s Choice matches, choosing each other’s match,” Renee said.
“Well, they choose each other’s opponent,” added Tony Schiavone on commentary.
Thunder Rosa used a gator roll on Red Velvet until they reached the ropes. They got to their feet and traded arm drags. Red Velvet swept out Thunder Rosa’s legs on the ring apron. Red Velvet rocked Rosa with stiff chops.
A slug fest broke out in the ring. Thunder Rosa connected with a running clothesline in the corner, and they drove her knees into Red Velvet. Thunder Rosa hit a Northern Lights Suplex for a near fall. Red Velvet stomped on Thunder Rosa’s midsection. Red Velvet followed up with a knee strike to the back of Thunder Rosa’s head.
Thunder Rosa blasted Red Velvet with a shotgun dropkick. Thunder Rosa finished off Red Velvet with the Tijuana Bomb and pinned her!
Tony Schiavone was in the ring to interview Darby Allin and Sting!
Darby Allin: “I want to take a few seconds to talk about a few things. Everyone always asks me what it’s like to tag with “the Icon” Sting. I want to talk about the impact that Sting has had on my career. It started back in 2015 in my first year in professional wrestling, when I saw this man’s career essentially end early from a neck injury. I thought to myself, ‘What if that was me? What if my life’s work was cut short?’
“And then all these years later I hear that Sting is coming to AEW. And I don’t know exactly what for because I heard he’d never wrestle again. And you remember this part, Sting. I flew to your house in Texas, you had a wrestling ring in your garage, and we were rolling around in the ring. And within five minutes I looked at you and what did I say to you? I looked you right in the eyes and I said, ‘You’ve still got it.’ And I’m not lying to you.”
The Young Bucks—Matthew and Nicholas Jackson were showing backstage, wearing headsets and watching monitors!
Darby: “And I told you to get back in this ring and finish the career on your own terms! And now look at us, 27-0, undefeated. And the rankings are back so I think that puts us in the top spot as number one contenders against Big Bill and Ricky Starks for the AEW World Tag Team Championships. And we’d be kind of dumb asses not to take the opportunity. So, I’m going to look you in the eyes and say this one more time: ‘You’ve still got it.’ But I’m not alone this time. I think the fans agree that you’ve still got it!”
The fans chanted “You still got it! You still got it!”
Darby: “So what do you say, Sting? Do you want to end your career as AEW World Tag Team Champions? It’s all you, man.”
Sting: “Alright, I’m all in.”
After a commercial break, AEW World Tag Team Champions “Absolute” Ricky Starks and Big Bill responded to Sting and Darby Allin backstage!
Big Bill: “Sting and Darby Allin, thank you for finally having the respect to address us by name. Thank you for having the respect to address us as the AEW World Tag Champions. And as far as your challenge goes, we accept your challenge.”
Starks: “It’s kind of fitting, Sting, that you started your career with me and a partner of mine in your very first match back after six years. And it’s very fitting that now and the best partner I have will be the end of you. You are not making it to Revolution, so you might as well pay us the proper respect that we deserve. Lay down so we can walk right over you and Darby Allin.”

The Mogul Embassy—Bishop Kaun, Toa Liona, & “The Machine” Brian Cage!
Brian Cage rammed Caster in the corner with his shoulder. Caster dropkicked Cage. Bowens grabbed a tag and chopped Brian Cage. Bowens pounded Cage with elbows to the back of the head.
Toa and Kaun doubled teamed Bowens in the Mogul Embassy’s corner, utilizing rapid tags. Bowens tried for a tag, but Kaun and Toa pulled Daddy Ass and Max Caster off the apron. Toa ate an elbow strike from Bowens. Daddy Ass finally got a tag and cleaned house on the Mogul Embassy!
Daddy Ass got pounced by Toa. Bowens rocked Toa with a thrust kick. Caster struck Brian Cage with a backhand. Kaun nailed Caster with a shotgun dropkick. Prince Nana slid a steel chair into the ring. The ref was distracted by Prince Nana. Bishop Kaun was about to whack Billy with the chair, but “Switchblade” Jay White yanked the chair out of Kaun’s hand!
“The Bang Bang Scissor Gang, they’ve got each other’s backs,” said Excalibur.
The Gunns power bombed Prince Nana through the timekeeper’s table!
“They were right, perhaps there is strength in numbers. Bullet Club Gold the difference makers tonight,” said Excalibur.
Billy Gunn rocked Bishop Kaun with the Fame-Asser! Bowens blasted Bishop with the Arrival! Caster hit the Mic Drop and finished off Bishop Kaun for the pinfall victory!
Main Event Time!
“The Rated R Superstar” Adam Copeland vs. Minoru Suzuki!
Copeland and Suzuki slugged it out in the center of the ring. Copeland got his bell rung and collapsed to the mat. Copeland got back up and Suzuki crumbled him again with a solid forearm on the jaw. Copeland backdropped his way out of an attempted piledriver.
Copeland booted Suzuki through the ropes. Suzuki pulled Copeland onto the floor, but Copeland shoved Suzuki through the barricade. Copeland and Suzuki barely made it back into the ring, but they were able to break the ref’s count just in the nick of time.
The fans chanted “This is awesome! This is awesome!”
Suzuki and Copeland were on their knees but exchanged stinging elbows. They got to their feet and traded open hand palm strikes, both men knocking one another down.
Tony Schiavone announced breaking news from Tony Khan! Two weeks away in Phoenix on Dynamite it’ll be AEW World Tag Team Champions “Absolute” Ricky Starks and Big Bill defending their titles against Sting and Darby Allin!
Suzuki had Copeland on spaghetti legs after more open palm strikes. Copeland spiked Suzuki with the Impaler! Copeland tried for a spear, but Suzuki countered with an arm bar! Copeland reached the ropes, forcing the ref to break up the hold.
Copeland speared Suzuki but Suzuki kicked out at the two-count! Suzuki locked in a rear naked sleeper! Copeland was fading fast. Copeland got to his feet and smashed Suzuki into an exposed turnbuckle corner. Copeland cracked Suzuki with the Killswitch, sending a clear message to Christian Cage! Copeland covered Suzuki and scored the pin!
TNT Champion Christian Cage was seen watching on a monitor backstage.
“Christian Cage looks discussed seeing that,” said Taz.
Copeland asked for a microphone.
Copeland: “I’ve never been hit that hard in my life. Suzuki, respect.”
Copeland offered his hand to Suzuki. Suzuki growled and walked away, not taking the loss easy.
Copeland: “I would have been disappointed if he did shake my hand. That was a war. The kind of war that Christian Cage knows nothing about. Christian, I am still coming for you!”

Willow connected with a crossbody press off the middle rope for a near fall. Willow followed up with a running clothesline and then flipped off the apron, landing on Statlander. Back in the ring, Statlander applied the pressure with body scissors. Willow got to her feet and scored with a kick to Kris. Willow nailed Kris with a massive spinebuster for a two-count.
Kris hoisted Willow up on her shoulders and planted her on her face. Willow fired back with a running pounce! Willow cannonballed Kris in the corner and followed up with a Death Valley Driver for a near fall. Kris blasted Willow with a scissor kick across the spine. Willow grabbed Kris off the top turnbuckle and power bombed her onto the apron!
Willow reversed Saturday Night Fever will a roll-up for a near fall. Kris tried for a 450 but Willow dodged it. Willow hit the Doctor Bomb and pinned Statlander!

Lance Archer and Killswitch were buried under tables while the other competitors whacked away at them with steel chairs. Trent whipped Serpentico over the top rope and eliminated him. Kip Sabian charged at Dalton Castle and knocked him to the arena floor.
Danhausen kicked Johnny TV out of the ring as Johnny was trying to pull Trent out. Lee Johnson connected with a body press to Kip Sabian. Angelo Parker eliminated Lee. Dark Order tossed out Cool Hand Ang. Kip cannonballed Alex Reynolds and then eliminated Reynolds.
Butcher sent John Silver packing. Trent and Rocky rocked Kip with a double knee strike. Bryan Keith kicked Kip out. Danhausen tried to curse Keith, but Butcher cut him off. Keith suplexed the Butcher. Blade charged at Keith and rammed him out to the floor. Lance Archer escaped the pile of lumber and entered the match. Daddy Magic chopped at Archer. The MurderHawk Monster clubbed Daddy Magic and made him vanish from the match. Archer eliminated Christopher Daniels.
Archer picked up Rocky and threw him over the top and sent him crashing onto Daniels. Darius Martin and Action Andretti worked in tandem on Archer. Killswitch emerged and choke slammed Darius and Action. Archer and Killswitch threw Action and Darius out of the ring. Blade ate a big boot from Archer before being tossed out. Killswitch booted Blade out of the match.
Trent and Danhausen grabbed Lance Archer and flipped him over the top and to the floor. Trent and Danhausen hugged, but then Trent eliminated Danhausen. Trent charged at Killswitch with a running knee strike. And then a second, and then a third knee strike! Killswitch caught Trent and planted him with a chokeslam. Killswitch clobbered Trent with a European Uppercut on the apron and then won the match!
FTW Championship Match/FTW Rules!
HOOK (c.) vs. ROH Pure Champion Wheeler Yuta!
Yuta charged at Hook as Hook was making his entrance. Hook pounded away with strikes at Yuta in the corner. Hook headbutted Yuta. They brawled onto the ramp. Hook sent Yuta for a ride with a suplex. Yuta grabbed a trash can lid from under the ring and swung for the fences, clocking Hook in the head.
Yuta whipped Hook into the steel barricade. Yuta was grinding his boot into Hook’s head. Hook jumped into the ring, but Yuta was waiting for him. Yuta had a stop sign and slammed it into Hook’s back. Yuta sat out with a senton for a near fall on Hook.
Hook suplexed Yuta with a Northern Lights throw for a near fall. Yuta countered the Red Rum with a release German Suplex. Yuta chomped on Hook’s forehead and then connected with a fisherman’s suplex. Hook caught Yuta and suplexed him into the trash can with a high cradle. Hook tried for the Red Rum, but Yuta sat back and smashed Hook onto the trash can. Yuta spiked Hook with a DDT on the stop sign for a two-count.
Yuta grabbed a two-by-four, but Hook found a hockey stick. Hook cracked the hockey stick over Yuta’s back. Hook used the remnants of the stick, applied Red Rum, and made Yuta tap out!

Claudio Castagnoli, Bryan Danielson, Mark Briscoe, & Daniel Garcia

Brody King, Jay White, Jay Lethal, & Rush!
“Daddy Magic” Matt Menard joined the commentary team for this match.
Rush and Claudio started shoving one another. It escalated to stiff chops and forearms. Claudio booted Rush but Rush retaliated with a German Suplex. Jay Lethal and Mark Briscoe tagged in for their respective teams.
Lethal dropkicked Mark but Mark answered with some redneck kung fu. Danielson and Jay White grabbed tags. The crowd came alive at the sight of these two competitors entering the ring to square off. Danielson tried for the Le Bell Lock, but Jay White quickly grabbed the ropes to force the ref to break the hold. The “Switchblade” chopped Danielson in the chest, lighting him up. Danielson whipped White into the turnbuckles and then walloped White with round kicks.
Danielson took down Jay White with a hurracanrana. Bryan fired off more round kicks and then Daniel Garcia grabbed a blind tag. Danielson wasn’t happy. Brody King entered the ring and Garcia tried to use his quickness against Brody. Brody blasted Garcia with a Bossman Slam! Brody got in Matt Menard’s face and taunted him.
Garcia’s nose was busted, and Jay White body slammed him. Garcia finally reached the corner and tagged Mark Briscoe. Mark took down Jay White with a flying forearm. Briscoe dropped a Cactus elbow off the apron onto Rush. Back in the ring Briscoe planted Jay White with a fisherman’s bomb for a near fall!
Jay Lethal tagged in and superplexed Mark Briscoe from the top! Brody King and Claudio Castagnoli tagged in. Claudio hit a vertical suplex on Brody! Rush charged at Danielson’ with the Bull’s Horns while Brody cannonballed Claudio. But Claudio answered with the Giant Swing, and then Danielson punctuated it with a dropkick to Brody’s head!
“We’ve got bodies flying everywhere!” said Matt Menard.
Garcia got rocked by Jay’s Lethal Combination. Jay Lethal applied the figure four on Garcia. Briscoe stunned Lethal with the Froggy Bow off the top. Claudio sent Jay White flying with a pop up uppercut. Garcia bypassed the Lethal Injection and folded up Lethal for the pin!
“Garcia said he thinks he fits in, and boy did he prove it here tonight,” said Excalibur.
Brody King blindsided Daddy Magic. Sonjay Dutt came out to give Lethal a talking to.
“The Redeemer” Miro vs. Andrade El Idolo (with CJ Perry)!
Miro bulldozed Andrade from behind as Andrade was entering the ring. Andrade tried for a tope suicida, but Miro cut him of at the pass with a stiff shot. Miro turned Andrade inside out with a suplex overhead, throwing him with ease.
Miro shouted at CJ Perry, “Is this what you wanted?!”
Andrade shoved Miro and Miro went flying over the commentary team’s desk. Andrade whipped Miro into the ring steps. They both got into the ring and traded stiff chops. Andrade used a dragon screw leg whip out of nowhere and followed up with a crossbody off the top turnbuckle. Andrade moonsaulted out of the ring and onto Miro on the arena floor. Andrade connected with another moonsault, this time in the ring, for a near fall on Miro.
Andrade charged at Miro, but Miro made him pay with a massive boot to the face! Miro was feeding off his fury. Miro stomped on Andrade’s back and then applied Game Over. CJ Perry yelled at Andrade, “Do not tap!” Andrade managed to reach the ropes and forced the ref to break the hold. Miro shouted at CJ Perry, “You should cheer for your husband!”
Andrade rocked Miro with the spinning back elbow for a two-count. Andrade applied the figure four leg lock. Andrade transitioned into the figure eight but Miro countered, reversing it. Andrade turned it back over, applying the pressure to Miro. Andrade bridged up, but CJ Perry swept out Andrade’s arms while the ref wasn’t looking! Miro scored with a kick for a near fall on Andrade. Miro trapped Andrade in the Game Over submission and forced Andrade to tap out!
CJ Perry blew a kiss at Miro after the match!
AEW Women’s World Championship Match!
“Timeless” Toni Storm (c.) (with Luther the Butler) vs. Riho!
Toni body slammed Riho and covered her, but Riho bridged right out of it. Riho used a bulldog out of the corner, but Toni kicked out at the one-count. Riho jumped off the apron, but Luther caught her, and then Luther handed Riho to Toni. “Timeless” Toni body slammed Riho on the arena floor.
Riho tried to body slam Toni, but Riho’s back seized up. Toni spotted it and went to work on Riho’s lower back. Toni applied the Texas Cloverleaf, punishing Riho’s lower back. Riho tried to reach the ropes, but Luther pulled the ropes back. The ref saw this and ejected Luther from ringside.
Riho connected with the area code shot! Riho body slammed Toni Storm. Riho jumped off the top and crashed down on the champion with a diving cross body! Riho double stomped Toni on the apron. Riho nailed Toni with a dragon suplex!
Toni Storm retaliated with the Storm Zero, but somehow Riho kicked out! Riho climbed the turnbuckles, but Toni yanked her down. Toni spiked Riho with a DDT and pinned Riho, retaining her championship!
Mariah May came to the ring with a bucket of rose petals. Mariah poured the petals over Toni, helping her idol celebrate her victory tonight.
Lexy Nair was backstage to interview Dante Martin!
Dante: “I’ve been doing good, but good’s not good enough. Last night I got the pin on Rampage.”
AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy walked onto the set. Orange told Dante to try to take his title his Wednesday on Dynamite!
Dustin Rhodes vs. Swerve Strickland (with Prince Nana)!
Dustin was taking the place of Keith Lee, who wasn’t cleared by the doctor to wrestle today due to injury.
Prince Nana set up a cinder block and put Dustin’s ankle on it. Swerve jumped off the apron with a double stomp, smashing Dustin’s ankle and the cinder block! The match hadn’t even officially started. The AEW medical staff and referees help Dustin up, trying to walk him to the back. Dustin couldn’t put any weight on his ankle. Dustin refused to give up and forced his way back to the ring!
“This is ill advised by Dustin Rhodes tonight,” said Excalibur.
Dustin told the ref to ring the bell. Swerve came in hot with a kick to Dustin’s head! Swerve dropkicked Dustin in the knee. Swerve set up Dustin for a superplex. Dustin headbutted his way out of it, knocking Swerve down to the mat. Dustin connected with a crossbody press for a near fall.
Dustin stunned Swerve with a Canadian Destroyer and then a snapping powerslam for a two-count. Prince Nana looked panicked. Dustin blasted Swerve with the UnNatural Kick. Dustin spiked Swerve with a piledriver and then the Cross Rhodes for a two-count!
“If Dustin wins this, what a comeback it would be,” said Tony Schiavone.
Swerve rolled through with a flatliner! Swerve applied a single leg crab on Dustin. Swerve transitioned to a stretch muffler and then stomped on Dustin’s head. Dustin made it to the ropes, showing off his mat sense and toughness. Dustin popped middle fingers at Swerve and then spat at Swerve! Swerve was infuriated and nailed Dustin with the House Call! Swerve wrecked Dustin with a second House Call kick! Swerve finished off Dustin with the Double Stomp from the top rope and pinned Dustin!
“Swerve is victorious but not a happy expression on his face,” said Excalibur.
“I will not have my time wasted anymore,” Swerve said, as he looked into the camera.

Chris Jericho, Darby Allin, Sammy Guevara, & Sting
vs.
AEW World Tag Champions Big Bill & “Absolute” Ricky Starks, and The Don Callis Family—Konosuke Takeshita & Powerhouse Hobbs!
Takeshita dropped Sammy with a headbutt. Sammy tagged Jericho in, and Jericho ate a Takeshita line. Starks grabbed a tag and Starks flipped off Jericho. Hobbs tagged himself in and Starks wasn’t happy. Hobbs rammed into Jericho with a shoulder tackle.
Big Bill tagged in and battered Jericho with clubbing shots. Darby jumped in with a dropkick to Big Bill. Takeshita entered the fray, but Darby connected with a lateral press. Darby drilled Takeshita with a Code Red for a near fall! Darby climbed the top for a Coffin Drop but Don Callis distracted him from the apron. Takeshita hoisted up Darby and decimated him with an avalanche helicopter blue thunder bomb!
Hobbs and Big Bill grabbed Darby and swung him across the ring like a sack of potatoes! Starks entered the match and went for a Stinger Splash, but Darby dodged it. Sting tagged in and threw haymakers all over the ring!
Starks walked the rope and dropped an elbow on Sting’s arm. Sting drove Sting to the mat and stomped him. Sammy tagged himself in. Sammy came off the turnbuckles with a cutter. Big Bill jumped in the ring and planted Sammy with a Bossman Slam. Jericho came to even up the odds and smashed Big Bill with a Code Breaker. Hobbs wrecked Jericho with a spinebuster from behind. Hobbs pancaked Jericho with the World’s Most Dangerous Slam. Darby splashed Jericho into Hobbs! Darby impaled Hobbs with a Scorpion Death Drop!
Takeshita suplexed Darby and Sammy with a German Suplex! Sting swept out Takeshita’s leg and applied the Scorpion Death Lock! Callis jumped into the ring with Sting’s baseball bat, forcing Sting to let go of the hold. Callis backed off when Sting saw him. Jericho applied the Walls of Jericho to Hobbs. Starks popped Jericho in the face with a thrust kick.
Darby rocketed out of the ring at Big Bill like a human battering ram! Starks speared Sammy for a near fall! Sammy rocked Starks with a thrust kick and then the GTH! Sammy climbed to the top and walloped Starks with a shooting star press, scoring the pin on Starks!
TBS Championship Match! House Rules Match!
Julia Hart (c.) vs. Abadon!
Abadon chose the stipulation to have biting made legal for this match!
The crowd chanted “This is spooky! This is spooky!”
Abadon hit a cutter out of the gate! Abadon battered Julia in the corner with lariats.
“Those shots will wear Julia out,” said Taz.
Julia fired back, ramming Abadon’s head into the mat! Julia grabbed Abadon in a crucifix for a near fall. Julia hurled Abadon through the ropes and onto the arena floor. Julia suplexed Abadon onto the cold arena floor. Abadon chomped down on Julia’s arm, taking a bite out of the champion!
Abadon followed up with a lung blower for a near fall. Julia came back with a superplex. Julia blindsided Abadon with a running lariat to the back of the head. Abadon caught Julia in the side of the head with a running knee strike. Abadon bit Julia’s forehead. Skye Blue crawled out from beneath the ring and hit Abadon while the ref was distracted. Skye hid back under the ring, but Abadon pulled her out and cracked Skye with a jumped knee strike! Julia Hart blindsided Abadon again, bashing Abadon’s head into the steel steps. Julia Hart scored the victory after a backflipping knee strike from the top rope onto Abadon’s chest!
TNT Championship No Disqualification Match!
“The Patriarch” Christian Cage (c.) (with Mother Wayne & Nick Wayne)
vs. “The Rated R Superstar” Adam Copeland!
Copeland charged at Christian Cage as Christian was making his entrance. Cope hammered Christian Cage with fists. Copeland sent Christian flying into the barricade. The fans chanted “We want tables!” and Copeland smiled. Christian Cage retreated from the ring. Copeland followed him but Cage was waiting with a thrust kick.
Adam Copeland whipped Christian into the steel ring steps. Christian tried to escape, walking up the arena steps. Copeland followed him. Copeland jumped off the top of the 100 section with a crossbody press onto Christian Cage!
The fans chanted “This is awesome! This is awesome!”
Copeland ran across the barricade, jumped off, and clotheslined Christian Cage! Copeland tried to spear Christian, but Christian dodged it and sent Copeland flying into the steel ring post. Christian stomped on Copeland’s neck on the ring steps! Copeland’s eye began to swell up, blood trickling down his face.
Christian Cage grabbed a kendo stick. Christian cracked Copeland in the back over and over with the kendo stick! Christian was using the kendo stick to choke Copeland. Nick Wayne tossed a couple of chairs to Christian. Christian put the chair across Copeland’s back, sat on it, and applied a Boston Crab. All of Christian’s body weight was on the chair, punishing the back of Copeland.
Christian had a metal rod, swung it at Copeland, but Copeland ducked it. Copeland planted Christian onto the mat and then bashed him with the kendo stick! Copeland applied the cross face in the center of the ring, putting the metal rod in Christian’s mouth and pulling back! Christian managed to grab the bottom rope and pull himself free. Copeland pulled a ladder from beneath the ring!
Copeland catapulted Christian Cage face-first into the ladder, which was wedged between the ropes. Christian swung the kendo stick at Copeland. Christian Cage climbed the ladder. Copeland got to his feet and climbed the other side of the ladder. Christian whiplashed Copeland with a sunset powerbomb from the top of the ladder for a near fall!
Christian Cage pulled two tables from beneath the ring. Christian and Nick Wayne set up a table near the ring. Copeland went for a spear, but Nick Wayne pulled Christian away. Copeland cracked Christian with a chair across the spine. Copeland nailed Christian Cage with an Impaler on the chair!
The fans chanted “This is awesome! This is awesome!”
Copeland was going for the conchairto, but Nick Wayne pulled the chair out of Copeland’s hands. Christian Cage blindsided Copeland with a low blow. Nick Wayne pushed a table into the ring. Christian Cage propped up the table against the turnbuckles. Christian tried to spear Copeland, but Copeland avoided it. Copeland answered with a spear of his own, putting Christian through the table! Copeland went for the cover, but Shayna Wayne pulled the ref out of the ring!
Nick Wayne rammed the TNT Title into Copeland’s head. Nick Wayne followed up with the Wayne’s World, bashing Copeland’s head onto the arena floor. Cage used the Killswitch for a near fall!
Christian Cage and Nick Wayne poured lighter fluid on a table! Nick Wayne lit the table on fire! Copeland speared Cage! Copeland put more lighter fluid on the table! Copeland power bombed Nick Wayne off the apron and through the burning table!
Christian tried to hit Copeland with the title belt, but Copeland blocked it and stopped Christian in his tracks with a low blow! Copeland smashed Christian with the Killswitch and pinned him!
New TNT Champion…” The Rated R Superstar” Adam Copeland!
Killswitch appeared out of nowhere! Killswitch choke slammed Copeland! Killswitch set up a chair and then choke slammed Copeland on it! Killswitch had his TNT Title contract and was about to hand it to the ref. Christian Cage jumped in between Killswitch and the ref. Christian demanded the contract from Killswitch. Christian made Killswitch surrender the contract after whispering into Killswitch’s ear. Christian signed the contract, handed it to the referee. The ref rang the bell, and we had another TNT Title Championship Match! Christian Cage speared Adam Copeland and pinned him!
And new TNT Champion… “The Patriarch” Christian Cage!
Continental Classic Championship Finals Match!
Gold League Winner Jon Moxley vs. Blue League Winner Eddie Kingston!
The “American Dragon” Bryan Danielson joined the commentary team for this match.
Moxley took down Eddie with a drop toe hold. Eddie went into the guard and blew a kiss to Moxley. Eddie kicked Moxley, forcing Moxley to take a few steps back. Moxley used a snap mare and then kicked Kingston in the lower back.
Kingston and Moxley traded chops in the center of the ring. Kingston caught Moxley with a kick to the back of the head. Kingston followed up with a tope suicida, but Eddie landed hard on his neck and shoulder.
Moxley baited Kingston and then German Suplexed him. Moxley spiked Kingston with the Paradigm Shift on the floor. Moxley punished Kingston with kicks to the chest. Kingston got to his feet and chopped at Moxley. Moxley blocked one of the chops with his forearm and Kingston felt pain right away. Moxley drove Kingston down on his neck with a piledriver for a near fall.
“Kingston is the hometown favorite, but Moxley just let the oxygen out of the arena,” said Excalibur.
Moxley applied an STF, but Kingston bit Moxley’s hand. Moxley began to get frustrated. Kingston chopped Moxley and brought Moxley down to his knees with it. They traded more chops. Moxley went to the ropes and Eddie tossed him with an exploder suplex! Eddie followed up with a spinning backfist. Both men went down.
Kingston dropped Mox with a DDT. Moxley retaliated with a cutter. Kingston connected with a second spinning backfist, but Moxley answered with a lariat. Kingston smashed Mox with a Northern Lights Bomb for a near fall. Kingston put Mox in a bulldog choke. Kingston transitioned to hammer and anvil elbows. He went to the bulldog choke on Moxley again. Moxley escaped and put Kingston in a bulldog choke of his own!
Kingston escaped and cracked Mox with a spinning backfist. Kingston planted Mox with another Northern Lights Bomb for a two-count! Mox wrecked Kingston with a lariat. Moxley was clutching his arm afterwards. They traded headbutts from their knees. They got to their feet and traded open palm strikes. Eddie spun around with the backfist and pinned Moxley!
“Oh man, Eddie Kingston did it!” said Taz.
The referee handed the three belts to Eddie Kingston and the crowd chanted “You deserve it! You deserve it!”
Moxley and Kingston hugged after the match.
“Eddie Kingston is the first ever Continental Crown Champion,” said Excalibur.
Tonight’s Main Event! AEW World Championship Match!
MJF (c.) vs. Samoa Joe!
The sold out arena chanted “He’s our scumbag! He’s our scumbag!”
MJF pointed to the entrance ramp and Adam Cole’s music hit, baybay! Adam Cole came down to the ring on crutches. Cole stood in his best friend’s corner, and MJF smiled.
MJF thumbed Samoa Joe in the eye and then kicked him. MJF charged at Samoa Joe, but Joe grabbed him and slammed him to the mat. MJF clutched his arm. Samoa Joe punched MJF in the shoulder and then stomped a mudhole into him. Samoa Joe hit a leg drop on MJF’s arm. Samoa Joe put a tight grip on MJF’s shoulder. MJF fought out of it with a series of chops. Samoa Joe booted the champ in the face!
“Max is in deep you know what right now,” said Taz.
Samoa Joe went for the muscle buster, but Max escaped. MJF grabbed an inside cradle for a near fall. MJF tried to schoolboy Samoa Joe and Joe kicked out of it. MJF went for the kangaroo kick, but Samoa Joe anticipated it and blocked it. MJF went to skin the cat, but as MJF was inverted, Samoa Joe kicked MJF in the head. Samoa Joe dived out of the ring with an elbow suicida and mowed down MJF.
Samoa Joe planted Max with a Death Valley Driver in the center of the ring. Joe nailed MJF with a German Suplex and then a dragon suplex. Samoa Joe followed up with a straitjacket suplex! Samoa Joe decimated MJF with a muscle buster on the ring apron! MJF landed directly on his injured left shoulder. Joe covered MJF but MJF managed to kick out at two.
MJF headbutted Joe. MJF connected with a rolling elbow strike to the back of Joe’s head. MJF chomped on Samoa Joe’s forehead. MJF tried for the kangaroo kick, but Samoa Joe booted Max out of the air. MJF thumbed Samoa Joe in the eyes. MJF tried to hoist up Samoa Joe, but MJF collapsed under the weight. MJF ran into Samoa Joe, throwing his body at Joe. MJF landed the heat seeker on Samoa Joe for a two-count! MJF applied the Salt of the Earth armbar on Samoa Joe. The challenger escaped and put MJF into an arm bar. Samoa Joe wrenched upwards. Adam Cole cheered on MJF, and MJF was able to reach the bottom rope to break the hold.
Samoa Joe applied a sleeper. MJF pushed backwards, inadvertently shoving Samoa Joe into the referee. The ref collapsed. MJF smiled. MJF stunned Samoa Joe with a low blow. MJF hoisted up Samoa Joe and pancaked him! The ref finally turned around and began to count the pin, but Samoa Joe kicked out at two! MJF signaled for the Dynamite Diamond Ring. Adam Cole had trouble finding it, and in the meantime, Samoa Joe grabbed Max from behind. Samoa Joe wrapped MJF in a deep submission. The referee lifted up MJF’s arm three times and MJF didn’t respond. MJF was choked out!
And new All Elite World Champion Samoa Joe!
Adam Cole got into the ring to console MJF. The Devil’s masked men surrounded the ring. They swarmed MJF and Adam Cole!
Adam Cole said, “Hey, hit me!”
One of the masked goons had a steel chair. MJF yelled, “No, don’t hit him! Hit me!”
The masked goon with the chair turned around and raised the chair, about to swing it at Adam Cole.
The arena lights went dark!
When the lights returned, Adam Cole was free, and he was sitting in the chair! The masked goons stood behind Cole. The masked goons removed their masks—it was Roderick Strong, Mike Bennett, Matt Taven, and Wardlow!
MJF, with tears streaming down his face, in complete disbelief, yelled, “How could you do this, man?”
Roderick Strong rammed into MJF with a jumping knee strike! Taven and Bennett began to pound MJF with fists. Wardlow power bombed MJF! Adam Cole sat on the chair the entire time. Cole pulled the Devil mask out from behind his jacket. Adam Cole dropped the mask onto MJF and laughed!
“Why? The question is how long have they been planning this!” wondered Tony Schiavone.
“The world of MJF has ended,” added Excalibur.

Continental Classic Tournament: Blue League Match!
Andrade El Idolo (9) vs. Blackpool Combat Club’s Claudio Castagnoli (3)!
Claudio Castagnoli locked up with Andrade and back him into the corner. Andrade powered out and rammed Claudio with a shoulder block. Claudio fired back with a standing clothesline. Andrade connected with a crossbody for a two-count.
Andrade jumped over the top rope to Claudio on the arena floor, but Claudio countered with a European uppercut. Andrade used two dragon screw leg whips, but Claudio couldn’t be contained and blasted Andrade El Idolo with a pop up European uppercut.
Claudio hurled Andrade around the ring with the Big Swing! Claudio applied the sharpshooter. Andrade escaped and reversed the sharpshooter into a figure four!
“I don’t think I’ve ever seen that!” said Tony Schiavone.
Claudio used his upper body strength to reach the bottom rope and force the ref to break the hold. Andrade climbed to the top turnbuckle, but Claudio met him up there. Andrade took down Claudio with a sunset flip powerbomb. Andrade charged at Claudio and crashed into him with a running knee strike. Andrade exposed the top turnbuckle but Claudio superplexed him. Andrade rallied back with two suplexes of his own. Andrade blasted Claudio with a pump kick and then a spinning back elbow for a near fall!
The fans chanted “A-E-W! A-E-W!”
Claudio knocked Andrade off the top turnbuckle and Andrade landed hard on the exposed turnbuckle. As the ref turned his back to put the turnbuckle pad back on, Claudio cracked Andrade with a low blow. Claudio followed up with a Gotch style piledriver and pinned Andrade!
“Claudio stays alive, and this tightens things up in the Blue League!” said Kevin Kelly.
Abadon vs. Jazmin Allure!
Abadon grounded and pounded Allure. Jazmin retaliated with a thrust kick, but Abadon absorbed it. Abadon ended things with the Black Dahlia and pinned Allure.
The arena lights went out! Julia Hart appeared in the ring and dangled the TBS Championship in front of Abadon.
Abadon lunged at Julia and then nailed Julia with a running knee strike. Abadon picked up the TBS Championship. Skye Blue ran into the ring and attacked Abadon! Skye Blue held Abadon while Julia hit Abadon.
Thunder Rosa charged into the ring and hit Skye Blue! Julia Hart and Skye Blue retreated out of the ring. Rosa offered her hand to Abadon and Abadon accepted!
AEW World Trios Champions The Acclaimed and Daddy Ass were backstage with Renee Paquette!
Daddy Ass: “You know, Renee, I don’t mean to cut you off, but we have the problem. The problem is Daddy Ass and the Acclaimed are now pissed off. You might have knocked us down, but the problem is we got back up!”
Max Caster: “Calm down. What Billy means is we’re coming for whoever’s under that Devil mask. And MJF, we’re friends, but now I want nothing to do with you. Because you put us in danger, and you didn’t care.”
Anthony Bowens: “What it boils down to is there’s a group of individuals that tried to end our careers. So, consider this the Acclaimed’s search and destroy mission because we’re going to beat your goofy asses the second we figure out who you are! And on top of that, Renee, we’re going to get back to being the best damn Trios in all of AEW history because everyone loves the Acclaimed!”
Top Flight and Action Andretti interrupted them! They said they wanted to clarify that they weren’t the ones who attacked the Acclaimed. They issued a challenge to the Acclaimed. Bowens said he appreciated it, but “wrong place, wrong time. Challenge accepted for next week on Collision. Be ready to fight.”
AEW International Title Match!
“Freshly Squeezed” Orange Cassidy (c.) vs. “Bounty Hunter” Bryan Keith!
Orange tried mind games, but Keith chopped at Cassidy. Orange ran off the ropes, but Keith countered with a boot to Orange’s head. Orange Cassidy fired back with a tornado DDT and then a tope suicida to Bryan Keith!
Bryan Keith headbutted Orange and followed up with an exploder suplex off the top rope. Orange countered a gut wrench suplex attempt with a Beach Break for a near fall on Bryan Keith! The Bounty Hunter fired back with a stunner for a near fall on the champ. Cassidy rolled up Keith out of nowhere and pinned him!
Orange offered his hand, but Keith slapped it away. Bryan Keith then tipped his hat at Orange out of respect.
A vignette aired of “The Redeemer” Miro!
“I am the Redeemer. I don’t want to fight Andrade because he is my wife’s client. I want to fight him because he is an a——! His losing to Claudio in this tournament brings him one step closer to being eliminated. I am done avoiding people to please my wife. I am ready to kill everyone to please myself. I fought the light for so long that I let my darkness consume me. This is the word of the Redeemer.”
Lexy Nair was backstage with Komander to interview him!
They were interrupted by Roderick Strong and the Kingdom—Mike Bennett and Matt Taven!
Roderick Strong: “Hey, despite all the good things she’s saying about you, you didn’t win last night, and that’s not good. You see, I am a former Ring of Honor Television Champion. And a Survival of the Fittest winner.”
Matt Taven: “I won the TV Title my very first night under contract.”
Roderick Strong: “So I just wanted to let you know this. I myself am looking to get back on the horse, pun intended. And fellas, I think I found my next victim: Komander!”
FTR—Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler came down to the ring!
Cash Wheeler: “House of Black, let me say first and foremost, if you have a problem with us, no more magic, no more sneak attacks. Come out here and speak to us face to face. I’ll tell you I think your problem is you’ve seen the success we’ve had in the past three years here in AEW. We came here and we’ve had the best run of our careers.
“We have been the Ring of Honor, the Triple A, the New Japan, and two-time AEW World Tag Team Champions. And you two, you’re still just unrealized potential. I think you’re mad at yourselves. I think you see the success that Brody has had in the Continental Classic and you’re jealous of that. I think you’ve seen the success that Julia has had and you’re jealous of that. But you’re not going to take your anger out on yourselves. You’re not going to direct it at yourselves. You’re going to direct it at the living legends.”
Dax Harwood: “You can say we’re not the best looking, and that’s ok. You can say we’re not the flashiest. I’ve even heard we’re hard to do business with. But there’s one thing that you can’t say about FTR and that’s we’ll back down from a fight.
“I don’t mind taking an ass whooping. Half of my life I’ve fought men for money. And that’s ok but I do have a problem with a sucker punch from behind. And I’m going to lay out a challenge, first time ever. House of Black—”
Dax’s microphone went dead and then the arena lights went dark!
The House of Black appeared on the big screen. Buddy Matthews told FTR that they were here to prove a point that no one in the back has FTR’s back. “Mark Briscoe, he won’t save you. Dax, your wife, your kid, they won’t save you. Everyone you love won’t save you. But I want to direct this question to Cash. Who loves you? All these people love Dax, but who loves you? I’ll tell you who loves you. We love you. We embrace you. We welcome you. We welcome both of you. Be in our family.”
Malakai Black: “See there’s this thing, this constant here, that this is personal. It’s not personal. No, this is what happens when we have to prove a point so aggressively that it even hurts us. Because this is love. Because let me ask you this question. When we attacked you, who came to save you? No one. So, did we lie? No, we did not lie.
“And if I were to make it personal, I would have a picture of you, of your wife, and your daughter, and I would do this to it.”
Buddy held up the picture while Malakai lit it on fire.
Malakai Black: “Symbolic. Like it or not, we’re your family now.”
Texas Street Fight Match!
Kris Statlander & Willow Nightingale vs. Mercedes Martinez & Diamante!
Mercedes smashed a bottle over Willow’s head! Kris spiked Diamante with a DDT onto a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire. Kris and Willow rammed Mercedes with a metal step ladder!
Mercedes cracked Willow with a crowbar across the back. Mercedes booted Willow in the head. Willow pounced Diamante and then smashed a board against Diamante’s back. Statlander rocked Mercedes with Saturday Night Fever for a near fall!
Diamante cracked Kris with a briefcase. Diamante opened the briefcase and dumped the contents all over the mat—shards of glass and thumbtacks! Mercedes dug Kris’ face into the tacks. Mercedes power bombed Willow off the apron and through a table on the arena floor!
Kris Statlander had her hand wrapped with a steel chain. Statlander hit the knockout blow on Diamante and then pinned her!
Renee Paquette was backstage with AEW Women’s World Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm and Mariah May!
Renee said whoever won between Saraya and Riho would face Storm at World’s End, and she asked Storm if she had a preference of who she faced.
Storm: “Not really.”
Renee asked Mariah if there was any update on who were debut opponent might be.
Mariah May: “Well Tony Khan helped me apply for my American wrestling license so very soon and Miss Storm you were sensational on commentary on Dynamite. And I was hoping you could commentate my first match.”

“Who’s going to stop that monster?” asked Kevin Kelly.
Lexy Nair interviewed Brian Cage, the Gates of Agony, and Prince Nana backstage!
They said they were on a roll, this was Swerve’s house, but they were living in it.
“Limitless” Keith Lee interrupted.
Keith Lee: “Congratulations are in order. However, to celebrate, you can tell him, my patience runs thin, and time is running out.”

Matt Menard joined the broadcast booth for this match.
Daniel Garcia and Eddie Kingston traded chops. Eddie used a back heel trip on Garcia. Daniel Garcia stunned Kingston with a dragon screw leg whip off the apron. Kingston fired back with a belly to belly suplex. Kingston nailed Garcia with a DDT.
Kingston blasted Garcia with machine gun rapid fire chops. Kingston was like a man possessed. Garcia mocked Kingston. Garcia got his second wind and broke through the defense of Kingston. Garcia applied a kneebar on Kingston, but Kingston managed to reach the ropes.
Garcia put Kingston in a leg lock, but Eddie grabbed the ropes and escaped one more time. Garcia charged at Kingston, but Kingston countered with an exploder and then a spinning back fist for a two-count!
The fans chanted “This is awesome! This is awesome!”
Garcia rocked Kingston with a suplex. Kingston’s leg gave out and Garcia grabbed him and hurled him with another stiff suplex for a near fall. Kingston fired back with a half and half suplex and then a spinning back fist and scored the pin on Garcia!
Continental Classic Tournament: Blue League Match!
House of Black’s Brody King (6) vs. Blackpool Combat Club’s Bryan Danielson (6)!
Danielson kicked at Brody’s legs. Brody went after Bryan’s surgically repaired eye. Brody chopped Danielson in the throat! Brody splashed Danielson in the corner with a cannonball!
Brody smashed Danielson’s head across the announcers’ desk. Brody whipped Danielson into the steel barricade. Brody put Danielson on a chair and then splashed him, sandwiching Danielson between himself and the barricade!
Danielson was able to regain some momentum with a diving knee off the apron. Danielson hit a missile dropkick. Danielson returned to kicking Brody and inflicting damage to Brody’s knee. Brody retaliated with a lariat off the second turnbuckle.
Brody was looking for a cannonball, but Bryan tripped up Brody and applied a single crab. Brody kicked himself free, stunning Danielson. The American Dragon chopped away at big Brody with round kicks. Danielson grabbed Brody’s wrists and began stomping on him. Danielson switched to the hammer and anvil elbow strikes. Brody mustered the strength for a Death Valley Driver on Danielson for a near fall.
Danielson used his trademark knee strike on Brody, but Brody kicked out at one! Brody smashed Danielson with a lariat for a near fall! Danielson smacked Brody in the face with the running knee and then caught him in the back of the head with another knee strike, finally scoring the pin on Brody King!
“What a battle,” said Tony Schiavone.
“Bryan Danielson has inched forward to nine points,” added Kevin Kelly.

Samoa Joe: “I have come here tonight looking for answers. Not a long time ago I made a promise to MJF that I would keep him whole until World’s End when I would dismantle him myself. Last week I was made into a liar when I came out here to the machinations of a devil. I looked up at that screen and saw MJF laying in the back, potentially jeopardizing my AEW World Championship opportunity.
“Now one can’t stand on the tracks of destiny and not get run over. So let me explain to you what’s going to happen tonight. You see when I walked in the back last week with MJF laying on the ground, I saw a beer bottle, a certain beer brand, that a certain cowboy likes, busted over MJF’s head.
“And then as I got closer, I noticed a certain scent of Stetson and disappointment. And I said to myself, I’ve smelled this before. And then as I walked around the building, searching high and low for this cowboy, it seemed like a certain Hangman was missing.”
“Hangman” Adam Page’s music hit, and Page came down to the ring!
“What if someone is trying to frame ‘Hangman’ Adam Page? What if MJF is trying to frame Adam Page?” asked Excalibur.
“Hangman” Adam Page: “Joe if there’s something you want to accuse me of, why don’t you just say it like the man I thought you were. If you think it’s me, if you think I have anything to do with it, if you think I give a damn about the Devil, you’d be so wrong, because I don’t care.”
Samoa Joe: “Hangman you may not care, but you see you made the mistake of thinking I came out here like a detective. I’ve already made up my mind. I’m an executioner.”
Hangman Page: “Well Joe, if there’s something you want to do about it, why don’t you do it?”
Roderick Strong walked onto the ramp with the Kingdom, and he was screaming “Samoa! Samoa Joe, you are so lucky that they didn’t hurt you last week. But I hate to say this, you gotta listen to Hangman. I mean he is my young boy and all. I never forgot about that.
“And listen, have you seen the things that have been happening, Joe? Jay White asked for a World title match, he gets attacked. The Acclaimed lose a tag match for Max and they get attacked. The goons attack Max on November 29th, but they don’t lay a single shot on him, and you come to his aid.
“And then last week, we never saw them physically touch him. We just saw him lying there. C’mon, Joe, think! It’s obviously Max. Max is the devil. C’mon, Joe, I wouldn’t like to you. I’m not talking to you Adam, I’m talking to my best friend by proxy, Samoa Joe!”
Adam Page swung at Roderick Strong and knocked him to the mat!
Roderick Strong (with The Kingdom—Matt Taven & Mike Bennett)
vs.
“Hangman” Adam Page!
Samoa Joe left the ring and pointed at Adam Page as he was exiting. As Page had his back turned, Roderick Strong blindsided Page! Strong stomped on Page in the corner. Hangman retaliated with stiff chops to Roderick Strong.
Page sent Strong flying with an overhead slam. Page hit a standing shooting star press for a near fall. Roderick connected with a back breaker. Page blasted Roddy with a high cowboy boot to the face.
Roddy used a single leg takedown and then drove his knee into Page’s chest. Roddy charged at Page, but Page flipped him over the top rope and followed up with a tope, crashing down on Roddy on the arena floor. Page climbed to the top turnbuckle, but Matt Taven grabbed a hold of Page’s boot. Mike Bennett distracted ref Aubrey Edwards while Roddy kicked Page in the head.
“The opening was there, Roderick took advantage of it, the referee couldn’t see it,” said Taz.
Roderick Strong nailed Hangman Page with a backbreaker on the turnbuckles! Roddy grabbed a top wrist lock. Page escaped and exchanged forearms with Roderick. Both men went for rolling elbows and they collided with one another, each being knocked down.
Adam Page got a second wind and began to stomp a Texas mudhole in Roddy. Hangman planted Roddy with a Death Valley Driver for a two-count! Adam Page chomped on Roddy’s forehead. Page went for a moonsault press, Roddy dodged it, but Page landed on his feet! Roddy charged at Page, but Page took him down with a pop-up powerbomb for a near fall!
Page was looking for the Dead Eye, but Roddy broke free and pancaked Page for a two-count. Roderick followed up with a suplex and then a Tiger Driver for a near fall. Roderick locked on the Strong Hold, but Page reached the ropes, forcing the ref to break the hold.
Page was searching for the Buck Shot Lariat, but Taven grabbed Page’s boot. Bennett distracted the ref on the other side. Page wiped out Taven with a moonsault. Page went back up top and tore down the Kingdom with another moonsault, this time from the ring post!
Hangman went for the Buck Shot, but Roddy had it scouted and went to apply the Strong Hold. Page countered with a roll-up, but Roddy kicked out. Page hit the Dead Eye on Strong and pinned him!
“Both these guys left it all in the ring,” said Taz.
“A great return to form for ‘Hangman’ Adam Page,” replied Excalibur.
Continental Classic Blue League Match!
Andrade El Idolo vs. House of Black’s Brody King!
Brody back up Andrade into the ropes. Andrade applied a headlock and took Brody down to the mat. Brody escaped and squashed Andrade with a senton. Big Brody pummeled Andrade in the corner with chops and then landed a solid elbow strike.
Andrade connected with a big cross body press, but Brody kicked out at the one-count. Brody rolled out of the ring, but Andrade followed up with a moonsault on the middle turnbuckle to Brody on the arena floor.
Andrade dropkicked Brody in the knee and Brody’s momentum sent him crashing into the turnbuckles. Andrade nailed Brody with two dragon screw leg whips. Andrade took Brody down with a flying elbow strike. Andrade El Idolo body slammed Brody. Andrade followed up with a split legged moonsault for a near fall!
The fans chanted “This is awesome! This is awesome!”
Brody rocked Andrade with a lariat for a two-count! Brody connected with a cannonball splash in the corner on Andrade El Idolo. Brody and Andrade exchanged chops. Brody stunned Andrade with a forearm, but Andrade answered with a spinning back elbow!
Andrade El Idolo climbed to the top turnbuckle, but Brody got to his feet. Brody knocked Andrade down with an elbow strike. Both men jockeyed for position on the top turnbuckle. Andrade pulled Brody’s head down, spiking it on the exposed turnbuckle! Andrade followed up with a hammerlock DDT and pinned Brody King!
“Andrade has picked up three crucial points in the Blue League,” said Excalibur.
Renee Paquette was backstage with the legendary Von Erichs—Kevin Von Erich, and his sons, Marshall and Ross Von Erich—who made their return to Dallas!
Kevin Von Erich: “Renee, I love AEW. The style, and I’ve got so many friends here, too.”
Danhausen walked onto the scene, interrupting, along with International Champion Orange Cassidy and Trent!
Orange: “Hey, I got a match on Rampage this week, and I need two partners. How about you two guys tag up with me on Rampage?”
Danhausen: “Hey, you’re betraying us.”
Orange: “What? No, we’re in Texas. So, what do you guys say?”
Marshall and Ross Von Erich agreed, saying they’d gladly have Orange’s back!
Out next: The Golden Jets—Kenny Omega & Chris Jericho!
Jericho: “Dallas, welcome to the return of the Golden Jets! I think that was the first ever Golden Jets chant,” Jericho said with a smile.
Jericho: “The reason why it’s been a while since we’ve been here is because of Big Bill and Ricky Starks. They attacked me after Full Gear, pretty much dislocated my elbow, put me out for three weeks. Last week after Kenny’s great match with Ethan Page, Big Bill kicked Kenny in the face and put him down to the ground. I spent three weeks thinking of what I was going to say to Big Bill and Ricky Starks. It’s pretty simple: Hey boys, get your sorry asses out here!”
AEW World Tag Team Champions “Absolute” Ricky Starks and Big Bill walked onto the ramp!
Starks: “Wow, did you miss me? Point proven, Chris. I find this whole situation to be funny. I have no problem with you Kenny. I want to thank you for this great place we have called AEW. And you, Chris, there’s nothing to really thank, because you just suck the life out of every single thing. And it makes me question, you, though, Kenny, because do you really think you can trust a guy like Jericho? I mean, look at the Inner Circle. Look at JAS. Look at what he’s done to those people in the past.”
Big Bill: Kenny, look at the things that Chris has actually done to you. If Chris attacked you randomly on the drop of a dime, me, Ricky, nobody here, would actually be surprised. Just saying.”
Kenny Omega: “So you’re basing this off of my trust between myself and Chris Jericho? Do I trust Chris Jericho? Chris, you know I don’t trust you. Look, Big Bill, you’re talking about track records. Let’s take a look at something from your past, the Firm, for example. Everyone remember the Firm? I can’t say that I do.
“I would say that that Firm angle you had with MJF is more like the flaccid, looking less firm and a little more up your alley, something say, I don’t know, soft. But hey, when it comes to beatdowns, I’m pretty much the king of receiving them. So hey, you guys think you can talk a big game, that’s fine. We’ve earned ourselves a tag team title shot down the road, and guess what? On December 30th at World’s End, we’re thinking maybe the Golden Jets can maybe take those two titles off of your waist and place them firmly around ours. What do you say to that?”
Ricky Starks: “That’s all well and good and we understand you two are the number one contenders and I’m going to speak for both of us and say, hey, guess what, you’re on! But before we even get to World’s End, let me just remind you Chris, I hope you remember January. Because back in January, I actually beat you on Dynamite.”
Big Bill: “Correction. You actually beat him twice. You beat him on a pay-per-view also.”
Starks: “So as far as I’m concerned, I’ve already done half of the work. I know you in and out and I know what you’re all about. We are the best tag team that there is because we are the AEW Tag Team Champions, without a name!”
Chris Jericho: “It’s funny, Starks, you keep bragging that you don’t have a name. I think you need a name. How about this? The Absolute S—ts? I got it! How about we take his first name and then his last name, ladies and gentlemen, AEW World Tag Team Champions Big Billy Starks!”
Starks: “Well that one fell flat.”
Jericho: “Kinda did.”
Starks: “I can excuse the name, but I cannot excuse the outfit where you went to a local Hot Topic and said, ‘Hey, give me the best stuff that you’ve got!’”
Jericho: “Listen, you said I’m a clown vampire, believe me, if I was going to suck my fangs into somebody, I’d do it with somebody with a lot more clout than you. Because from where I’m standing, all I see is a better dressed, less charismatic version of Enzo Amore.”
Omega: “Hey, let’s give Enzo credit. At least he would hype up Big Bill and not take all the spotlight.”
Starks: “Well I think you guys have taken the spotlight a little too far in my opinion, but regardless, I want you to know something. You talk about the way I dress. You talk about Big Bill. Chris Jericho, no one cares anymore. I am sick and tired of you. And Kenny, you’re starting to piss me off, brother. You want the war? Bring it! World’s End, me and Big Bill will take you two on, because we are the best damn tag team there is. Bar none! Nobody better! And if you think you’ve got something better than me and Big Bill, prove it, you two Winnipeg scumbags!”
Omega: “Well, now that you’ve brought out the big guns, I might need to sit and stew on that for a minute. So, much like those tag team belts on December 30th, I must bid you good-bye, bang!”
Jericho: “We’ll see you on December 30th Starks and Big Bill!”
The Outcasts’ Ruby Soho vs. Riho!
AEW Women’s World Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm joined the broadcast booth for this match. She was accompanied by Mariah May.
Ruby stomped Riho in the corner. Ruby body slammed Riho, but Riho followed up with a dropkick. Riho suplexed Ruby and then squashed her with a double foot stomp. Riho climbed to the top turnbuckle, but Ruby knocked her off balance. Riho managed to secure herself and then crashed down on Ruby Soho like a bolt of lightning, double stomping her!
Riho connected with a big cross body press for a near fall. Ruby rocked Riho with a kick to the side of the head. Riho planted Ruby with a crucifix bomb for a near fall! Ruby fired back with the No Future Kick, but Riho kicked out at the two-count! Riho stunned Ruby with a dragon suplex and then pinned Ruby after a running knee strike!
Continental Classic Gold League Match!
LFI’s Rush vs. Jay Lethal!
Rush splashed Lethal in the corner. Lethal fired back with a basement dropkick and the did his strut. Rush hit a German suplex and followed up with a knee strike. Rush whipped Jay Lethal into the steel guardrail outside the ring.
Lethal chopped Rush off the turnbuckles. Lethal shocked Rush with the Lethal Combination. Lethal tried to apply the figure four but Rush rolled him up for a near fall. Lethal countered Rush’s discus lariat with a kick to the head. Lethal charged at Rush but Rush nailed Lethal with a belly to belly suplex in the turnbuckles. Rush countered the Lethal Injection with a sleeper and Lethal tapped out!
“Rush has not forgotten how Jon Moxley put him to sleep one week ago,” said Excalibur.
Continental Classic Gold League Match!
Bullet Club Gold’s “Switchblade” Jay White vs. Mark Briscoe!
Briscoe wasted no time, going right after Jay White! Briscoe hit a Death Valley Driver!
The fans chanted “Dem Boys! Dem Boys! Dem Boys!”
Briscoe climbed to the top and smashed White with the Froggy Bow. White rolled out of the ring. Mark chopped at Jay White back in the ring. Briscoe chomped on Jay White’s head. Jay White hurled Mark out of the ring, and Mark’s shoulder collided on the ring apron.
Mark blocked the Blade Runner with redneck Kung Fu. Jay White hit a basement dropkick and then a DDT on Mark Briscoe. Mark Briscoe wiped out White with a massive lariat! Mark employed the redneck Kung Fu once again. Mark nailed Jay with the Cactus elbow drop off the ring apron!
Jay White escaped Mark’s attempt at Splash Mountain. White connected with elbow strikes. Mark signaled for the Jay Driller but White countered with a dragon screw leg whip out of nowhere. Briscoe was clutching his knee. White walloped Mark with a sleeper suplex. White served up a second sleeper suplex on Mark! Mark countered the Blade Runner with a side suplex. Mark went for a Froggy Bow, but Jay White countered by raising his knees into Mark’s ribcage. White pinned Mark Briscoe after planting him with the Blade Runner!
Main Event Time! Continental Classic Gold League Match!
Blackpool Combat Club’s Jon Moxley vs. Swerve Strickland!
The fans were on their feet as the match began, chanting “A-E-W! A-E-W!”
Mox applied a hammerlock. Swerve escaped and taunted Moxley. Both men were playing mind games early on. Moxley and Swerve traded strikes in the center of the ring. Swerve kicked out Moxley’s legs and then spiked Mox with a DDT off the turnbuckles!
Swerve rammed Mox into the steel ring post. Mox retaliated with a lariat out of the corner. Mox planted Swerve with a stalling piledriver for a near fall. Moxley trapped Swerve in the apron skirt and then crotched him on the apron skirt cord. Moxley launched Swerve into the steel ring steps!
Back in the ring, Mox clocked Swerve with a clothesline at the halfway mark. Swerve smashed Mox with a back breaker. Swerve accelerated off the ropes with a back elbow. Moxley nailed Swerve with a cutter, but Swerve kicked out of the cover. Mox spiked Swerve with a Gotch style piledriver for a two-count!
Swerve and Mox exchanged headbutts. Swerve rocked Mox with a flatliner. Swerve connected with a high boot right on target for a near fall.
The fans chanted “This is awesome! This is awesome!”
Swerve used hammer and anvil elbow strikes on Moxley. Swerve followed up with the House Call kick. Swerve was looking for the Swerve Stomp, but Mox knocked Swerve off the top turnbuckle. Swerve fell to the arena floor! Moxley mauled Swerve with a curb stomp as Swerve rolled back into the ring!
Moxley applied a cross arm breaker on Swerve’s injured right arm. Swerve managed to reach the ropes with his boot to force the ref to break the hold. Moxley grabbed a steel chair from outside the ring, but Swerve jumped over the top rope and crashed onto Moxley. Swerve landed on Moxley with a Swerve Stomp outside the ring!
Swerve climbed to the top rope and hit the Swerve Stomp on Mox, but Mox kicked out at two! Moxley countered a JML Driver with a roll thru cradle and he pinned Swerve!
“Jon Moxley, I think he may have even grabbed the belt for that added leverage,” said Excalibur.
“He sure did! He grabbed it with both hands,” replied Tony Schiavone.
“Jon Moxley stealing a victory and stealing three crucial points. Jon Moxley now sits at the top of the table with 12 points, the highest overall total,” said Excalibur.
Outside the arena, four masked assailants with the Devil’s mask logo on the back of their hoodies, attacked “Hangman” Adam Page!
“He’s outnumbered four to one,” said Excalibur.
“Someone’s in that car,” added Taz.
The person in the Devil mask exited the car and nodded at the assailants. The masked men power bombed Adam Page through the glass windshield of the car!
“The devil and his goons just destroying ‘Hangman’ Adam Page,” said Excalibur, as Page was writhing in pain.

Brody and Claudio, both known for their power, began the match by blasting one another with forearms. Brody hit Claudio with a lariat, not afraid to utilize the cast on his injured arm.
“I don’t know if this is for pride or what, but neither man is going down,” said Tony Schiavone.
Brody pump kicked Claudio, taking down Claudio with a big boot to the face. Claudio came back with a body slam and then knocked Brody over the top rope and to the arena floor with a clothesline. Claudio followed up with a running European Uppercut.
Claudio whipped Brody into the steel barricade. Brody charged back with a lariat and then removed the steel padding on the barricade. Brody hurled Claudio back into the exposed barricade. Back in the ring, Brody clobbered Claudio with a scoop slam and a running senton splash.
Claudio rallied back with European Uppercuts to Brody in the corner. Claudio went for the Giant Swing, but Brody pushed him away. Claudio shot back with a double foot stomp for a near fall. Claudio rocked Brody with a pop up European Uppercut!
“He lifted him a good two feet off the mat!” said Nigel.
Claudio grabbed Brody in the Giant Swing! Claudio applied a sharpshooter. Brody crawled to the ropes, forcing the ref to break the hold. Brody managed to German Suplex Claudio and followed up with a running cannonball in the corner. He covered Claudio but Claudio kicked out at one! Claudio hit a Canadian Destroyer on Brody and covered him, but Brody kicked out at one!
The fans chanted “This is awesome! This is awesome!”
Brody spiked Claudio with a piledriver for a near fall! Brody leveled Claudio with a massive lariat and pinned Claudio!
“I’m wondering if it may have been that cast on the forearm shot,” said Kevin Kelly.
Abadon vs. Kiera Hogan!
Hogan hit a shotgun dropkick on Abadon. Abadon battered Hogan in the corner. They charged at Hogan, but Hogan moved and connected with a thrust kick. Kiera Hogan followed up with a dropkick for a near fall. Abadon used a sidewalk slam on Kiera Hogan. Abadon stunned Hogan with a cutter!
Kiera Hogan nailed Abadon with a neck breaker. Abadon fired back with a knee strike. They planted Hogan hard on the mat with the Black Dahlia and pinned Hogan!
The arena lights went dark. When they came back on, TBS Champion Julia Hart was in the ring, smiling at Abadon. The lights went dark again, and this time, when the arena lights turned on, Julia had vanished!
Alex Marvez interviewed Samoa Joe backstage!
Samoa Joe was interrupted by Roderick Strong and the Kingdom!
Roderick Strong: “Joe, listen, I’m willing to forgive you for trying to end my career by trying to break my neck, not once, but twice. Andrade El Idolo vs. Daniel Garcia!
Matt Menard joined the broadcast booth for this match.
Andrade applied a side headlock. Garcia shoved him off, but Andrade came off the ropes with a shoulder block. Andrade hit a big cross body press on Garcia. Andrade jumped over the top with a plancha to Garcia.
Garcia used a pair of dragon screw leg whips on Andrade. Garcia rammed Andrade into the barricade. Garcia climbed to the top turnbuckle, but Andrade shoved him off the perch. Garcia tumbled hard onto the arena floor.
Garcia rallied back, tying Andrade into the Tree of Woe and then hammering on Andrade’s knee. Garcia blasted Andrade with a running dropkick and then a brain buster for a near fall! Garcia missed a lariat and Andrade countered with two suplexes. Garcia escaped a third attempt from Andrade, jumping on Andrade’s back with a sleeper. Andrade climbed to the top rope with Garcia on his back. Andrade superplexed Garcia! Andrade followed up with a series of suplexes, an homage to Eddy. Andrade finished off Garcia with the flatliner and pinned him!
“Andrade cracks the scoreboard,” said Tony Schiavone.
Willie Mack was backstage with some words for Wardlow!
Willie: “See Wardlow, I know you’ve been going through a lot of things these past few weeks. But you don’t put your hands on my friends. So, I’m going to have to reach out and touch you. So next week, we’re going to have to do the damn thing in the ring. So, pack your lunch because I’m a big boy!”
Roderick Strong came to the ring with the Kingdom—Matt Taven and Mike Bennett!
Roderick Strong: “I just wanted to say something to Samoa Joe. Listen to me dude. Everything I said back there was true. Max is the devil, and you are going to find out very soon. Those three dweebs in the ring, Matt and Mike are going to beat their ass. And I want to dedicate this to my best friend, Adam, whether he wants me to or not!”
The Kingdom—Matt Taven & Mike Bennett
vs.
The Iron Savages— “Sauce Boss” Beefcake Boulder & “Dirty Bulk” Bronson!
Boulder knocked down both members of the Kingdom with a cross body. He choke slammed Bennett on the apron. Taven cracked Bronson with a thrust kick. Boulder tried for a moonsault, but Taven rolled out of the way.
Bennett nailed Bronson with a Death Valley Driver and Taven followed up with Just the Tip of the Knee strike! They spiked Bronson with a piledriver, and Taven scored the pin. Roderick Strong jumped into the ring after the match and wiped out the manager of the Iron Savages!
Lexy Nair was backstage with “All Ego” Ethan Page!
Ethan Page: “Ever since losing to MJF in my home nation of Canada, I have had to regroup. I have gotten into the best physical condition of my life. I’ve been in Ring of Honor racking up wins. I want to be the king of Canada. But right now, that crown is sitting on someone else’s head. I want you, Kenny Omega, next week on Collision!”
Christopher Daniels & Matt Sydal
vs.
House of Black’s Malakai Black & Buddy Matthews!
Sydal jumped off the top turnbuckle, but Buddy grabbed him and nailed him with an elbow. Sydal fired back with a high kick to Buddy’s head. Daniels tagged in and they exhibited great tandem offense on Buddy.
Malakai wiped out Daniels with a moonsault to the floor! Sydal tagged in and connected with a missile dropkick on Black. Malakai cracked Sydal with an elbow to the back of the head. Buddy blasted Daniels with a meteora, and Sydal had the same idea, taking down Black with a meteora of his own!
Black swept out Daniels’ legs, and then Buddy curb stomped CD! Black ended it with a high roundhouse kick to Daniels’ head and pinned Daniels!
“That kick rocked the jaw of Christopher Daniels!” said Tony Schiavone.
The arena lights went out! They came back on and FTR’s music was playing! Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler walked to the ring!
Malakai Black: “Before you both do anything, I assume that the both of you are here because you joining the House of Black. The only people that have been here for the both of you is the House of Black. I have done a lot of things, but not once have I told a lie.”
Dax Harwood went to pick up the microphone and Buddy rushed in and kicked him. Dax was curb stomped. It was all a ruse by the House of Black. Buddy held down Dax, so he was forced to watch as Malakai Black cracked Cash with a roundhouse kick!
Malakai Black: “You see not one single person is coming for you. Boy, were my predictions right last week. No one is coming for you.”
Dax flipped off Black, and then Black rocked Dax with a devastating spin kick to the head!
Renee Paquette had an exclusive Collision interview backstage with AEW Women’s World Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm!
Toni Storm: “Skye Blue, if I have any advice for you, it would be for you to walk backwards. Because the only time they have anything nice to say about you is when they are taking pictures of your bottom. You can be the first challenger for my belt!”
After a commercial break, Skye Blue responded to “Timeless” Toni Storm!
Skye Blue: “Toni, I have met you through every one of your phases, but this midlife crisis is the most pathetic one by far. But you haven’t met this Skye Blue. So, bring your little butler, bring your little blonde bimbo, and whatever 1940s crap you’ve got up that robe, because nothing is going to stop me from taking that championship.”
AAA Mega Champion El Hijo del Vikingo vs. Kip Sabian!
Vikingo shocked Sabian with a kick and then an arm drag off the ropes. Vikingo went for a tope, but Sabian had an answer, drilling Vikingo with a stiff kick to the face. Kip followed up with an Arabian moonsault.
Vikingo connected with a spinning kick to Kip. He followed up with a torture rack knee lift strike to Sabian. Vikingo came off the ropes with a 360 phoenix splash from the other side for a near fall on Sabian!
Sabian climbed to the top turnbuckle and jockeyed for position with Vikingo. Sabian took down Vikingo with a hurracanrana. Vikingo rallied back with a tornillo from the top and then a running knee strike! Vikingo pinned Sabian after a 630 splash!
Lexy Nair was backstage with “Limitless” Keith Lee!
Shane Taylor and Lee Moriarty interrupted Keith Lee.
Shane: “I know you’re not dumb enough to look past me. Last year’s tag match didn’t solve anything for me. So, I say this year we give the people the fight they really want to see. Shane Taylor versus Keith Lee one on one at Final Battle!”
Keith Lee: “Challenge accepted. And I’ll see you later, too, Lee Moriarty.”
Lexy Nair interviewed CJ Perry!
“The Redeemer” Miro interrupted, trying to walk past CJ and into the locker room of her client, Andrade El Idolo.
CJ Perry: “Miro, you can’t go in there. I know you think bad things will happen. I need to do this. You picked your god. And now I have to prove myself. By winning this tournament, I will start to be on that path that will help me. If you want to go in there, I can’t stop you, you’re a grown man. But please, if there’s any love that you have for me, please let me do this and find my own way. And if I mean anything to you, don’t lay a hand on my client. Can you please do that?”
Miro: “My god is gone. If he was still with me, I’d be in this tournament ripping the spine out of Andrade. But I promise you I won’t lay a hand on your client. You have my word.”

The Blackpool Combat Club’s “American Dragon” Bryan Danielson
vs.
ROH World/NJPW Strong Openweight Champion Eddie Kingston!
Danielson fired off a chop to Kingston’s chest. Kingston retaliated, knocking Danielson off his feet! Danielson’s view was limited as he was wearing an eye patch over his injured eye. Danielson pulled back on Kingston’s arm, driving his knee into Kingston’s back.
Danielson German Suplexed Kingston. Danielson booted Kingston in the face. Danielson slid out of the ring but Kingston back suplexed Danielson on the arena floor! Danielson headbutted Kingston and dropped Kingston with a missile dropkick.
Danielson applied the Le Bell Lock. Kingston escaped, mounted Danielson, and began to ground and pound Danielson. Kingston cracked Danielson with a spinning back fist for a near fall! Kingston grabbed a two-count on Danielson after a vertical suplex. Danielson stunned Kingston with a round kick to the top of the head.
Danielson battered Kingston with a barrage of kicks. Eddie tossed Danielson with a half and half suplex. Danielson blocked a spinning backfist and then dumped Kingston on his head with a suplex!
The fans chanted “This is awesome! This is awesome!”
Danielson grabbed Kingston’s wrists and began to stomp Kingston’s head! Kingston flipped off Bryan Danielson. Bryan nailed Kingston with the running knee strike and pinned Kingston!
“Beautiful in its brutality,” said Kevin Kelly.
