Bobby Roode & Charlotte Flair battle The Miz & Asuka tonight for $100,000 in the WWE MMC Finals

April 3, 2018

After months of rigorous team selections, hilarious videos, tournament-altering fan interaction and outrageous matchups, it all comes down to this.

Tonight on Facebook Watch, Intercontinental Champion The Miz & Asuka will represent Raw against SmackDown LIVE’s Bobby Roode & SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair in the WWE Mixed Match Challenge Finals. The winning team will not only earn $100,000 for their partner charity, but they will also gain valuable momentum on The Road to WrestleMania.

Last night on the WWE MMC Facebook page, both teams commented on their imminent clash:

Who defeated Braun Strowman & Alexa Bliss? Big E & Carmella? Finn Bálor & Sasha Banks? In a word, “Awe-ska!” Like him or hate him, The Miz is a Superstar who knows how to win. In addition to being a former WWE Champion, an eight-time Intercontinental Champion, a two-time United States Champion and a Money in the Bank Ladder Match winner, The A-Lister stands as a six-time Tag Team Champion. Translation: He can indeed play well with others and do so at the top of his game. And he has been playing very well with the undefeated Asuka, an absolute force to be reckoned with who is coincidently gearing up to challenge Charlotte for the SmackDown Women’s Title this Sunday at The Showcase of the Immortals. Put simply, Miz’s extensive and title-laden experience, mixed with The Empress of Tomorrow’s desire to leave her WrestleMania opponent with a loss five days before their title match, will make “Team Awe-ska” a very difficult team to beat.

The Miz & Asuka tell the story of how Rescue Dogs Rock saved an abandoned dog named Bodin

The A-Lister and The Empress of Tomorrow give a heartwarming example of how homeless, abused or neglected dogs can be helped through Rescue Dogs Rock, their charity in WWE Mixed Match Challenge, Tuesdays at 10 ET/7 PT on Facebook Watch.

Enter “The Robe Warriors.” The dynamic tandem of the six-time Women’s Champion and the former United States Champion has journeyed into the Finals in glorious fashion, besting the likes of Apollo & Nia Jax and the husband/wife team of Rusev & Lana with absolute precision. Though injury prevented Charlotte from competing one week ago in the Semifinals, the natural chemistry between Roode and his returning Queen strongly suggests that they will pick up right where they left off. With The Glorious One hoping to reclaim the U.S. Title this Sunday in a Fatal 4-Way Match, and Charlotte not wanting to give Asuka any advantage in the final days before WrestleMania, look for “The Robe Warriors” to be more competitive than ever before, if that’s even possible. “Wooo!”

"The Robe Warriors" proudly represent Girl Up in WWE Mixed Match Challenge

Charlotte Flair & Bobby Roode are proud to represent their charity partner Girl Up, an initiative that inspires and connects girls globally. Don’t miss WWE Mixed Match Challenge, Tuesdays at 10 ET/ 7 PT, exclusively on Facebook Watch.

Two dominant tandems have made it to the end of WWE MMC, but only one will emerge victorious and bring $100,000 to their charity partners. Will it be “The Robe Warriors,” battling for their charity partner, Girl Up? Or will it be “Team Awe-ska,” competing for their charity, Rescue Dogs Rock? Find out in the WWE Mixed Match Challenge Finals, tonight at 10 ET/7 PT, exclusively on Facebook Watch.
