WWE Superstar Roman Reigns announced on the October 22nd edition of RAW that we was relinquishing the Universal Championship after learning that the leukemia he had been diagnosed with eleven years ago had once again returned, and that he was taking time away from WWE to focus on his health and battle with this disease.
Braun Strowman was recently interviewed by Wrestling News, and he was asked about Roman Reigns currently health and status with WWE.
“I have [spoken to Roman] he’s doing really well. I think he’s in Hawaii still vacationing and seeing some of his family. So everything is going good with him.”
Strowman also commented on a potential timetable for Roman’s return. He revealed that Reigns is taking things day by day, and that he is still getting his daily treatments for leukemia. However, there is still no date in sight for Roman’s return to the company.
“Naw, it’s just a day by day thing. I know he’s still doing his treatments at home. So when I speak to him he sounds well he says he feels well so I trust him and everything he’s ever told me.”
